Wiping a tear from her eye, Grimhildr let her laughs quiet down before she stood back straight with a single cough to declare that she was, in fact, now finished. Still smiling, she accepted the rest of the vegetables before blinking and looking back at the now-set sun.
"Ah! Dammit all! Ma's gonna have me beat three days past the moat if I don't get back there quick!" Still, she was now short a watermelon.
"You!"
She pointed at the male who had stalked her, acted the fool, and then broke one of the watermelon. Then she pointed at the grove.
"Grab another melon and come catch up with me! I ain't gonna cover your tail if they yell at us." At that, she turned tail and started running back towards Laisidhiel, calling back to him, "An' don't you dare damage the vine!"

Deforest smiled and gave the stout fauness a salute. Then bent to gather another melon. Only to realize that in order to fetch a melon, he would most definitely have to damage a vine. How else were you sposed to gather the produce? He glanced back at the fauness only to see her jogging away in her fruit gatheting glory.
He sighed a little lovelorn. Now THAT was a girl worth ditching bug collecting class for. Class? Why did that....OH! He was collecting bugs! Well shoot. He turned back to melon and debated a moment further. He could always call off sick? He did look rather disheveled with this watermellon juice everwhere....
Yup. He was gonna ditch the bugs. He grabbed the largest melon he could find and toddled back to the tree.
Not even noticing the June Bug behind him, flitting about.
