The world was pulling apart, dissolving into black about the corners. Standing there among the flashing lights of the tower, he felt a shiver at places similar in his memory. Blue Kingdom. The Tower where he lost Rin. High places and corporations always made the bile bubble in his stomach, only tripled at the fact he wasn't sure how he got here, how he could get out, and what it all meant. Even the other hunters around him were ones he wondered were just something created to reassure him he was fine or maybe not even hunters. He decided, for peace of mind, he was hope they were in the same boat with him, and as he looked on he saw he wasn't the only ones here, watching as Halloween creatures wanders about looking just as lost and confused as their warped faces could pull off. Shadows moved too, and the only place holding it's shape was the tower before them.
So he entered, hoping that the one lone building that was at the epicenter of it all would have the key to get away and back to what was familiar. Back home.
The main floor was no help, and so he took the elevator, his heart thumping at who he would find at the top. Someone there who could cut someone in two. Gripping his shoulders, he stood there as the elevator dinged and played terrible chime music while he took deep, gasping breathes and counted, trying to keep himself from having a panic attack. Now wasn't the time.
When the door dinged, he found himself in a open space with tunnels leading down. The place was manicured, but the holes were still holes and nothing good came from underground. Moving around the room, he pushed into another and found himself in a beautiful open space with lush vegetation and a large lake at it's center. It might have been relaxing if not for the 3 shadows wading through the water, searching, looking, before turning at him and racing towards him.
Summoning, he wasn't no time in firing once and shooting all three apart, their bodies rushing his and slashing into him before they tore apart and shot shards of their bodies at him before they dissolved. Wincing, he picked himself off the ground and Saliva out of the water before looking about. It was there, in the center of the lake, there stood a mirror.
And in that mirror, stood Deus.

Behind the mirror is none other than Deus Island as it actually should have been. It confirms that you are trapped within this dream, as you look closer to the mirror. Examining it reveals it is just a mirror, and shattering it well-
- After a while it rebuilds itself. You are stuck here.
The mirror shifts. You can see, was that horsemen meandering the island? They seem to be destroying things, and you are stuck here, unable to save your home, unable to stop them.

He stood before what was clearly a mirror, water knee deep as he pressed his hands on the frame and the glass, looking in at Deus but unable to see how to activate what he hoped was a portal and wondering where he was to be trapped here. Where was his real body? How did they get him here? How did he get out?
He tested knocking on the glass, but was afraid that hitting it and shattering the glass would ruin his escape forever. There had to be a way somewhere to get home and away before the entire world dissolved into nothing around him.
After a while, panic set in, and he took the back of Saliva and smashed her against the glass, reaching out in hopes that the solution would be that simple. It wasn't, and glass shattered and plopped in a shower into the lake, and his hope sank with it.
It didn't take long however for the shards to float back and piece themselves right back, reversing his hasty decision, and reflecting back the island his desperately wanted to return to. In response, the mirror showed others there, horsemen, moving about the grounds and tearing apart at the foundations. While he was here, fading away, they were destroying everything they worked for and called home to claim it for their own. A new island for the one they destroyed.
And he couldn't get there.
