The shadow turned to move, the little heard of questionable insects scurrying after it as well. It paused for a moment just long enough to pick up some weird shadow rectangle blob that fell off the ground - it was difficult to tell.
"Right so, just over there and-"
The next thing they knew both Nergui and Kithyrn were on the ground, ears ringing with that felt like some sort of explosive that affected even them. It was just blue strobes of light in their vision and by the time they could even get back on their feet the shadow was gone, though it took a painfully much longer time to get rid of that lingering smell.
