Scars: Across his calloused hands are burn marks of various degrees. Aside from that and small cuts from childhood long faded, his body is fairly unblemished.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Jean is a fairly strong man, able to lift heavy metals with ease. His homely skills such as cleaning, cooking, and sewing are cannily better than many women from his village. He is able to handle wild animals with relative ease. He doesn't eat meat, so he knows a large amount of information about edible plants. Being a blacksmith, he also has extensive knowledge on weapons, armor weaknesses, and all which comes with the territory.
He has minor experience with fire magic and uses it while blacksmithing, but due to not being able to fully master the skill, he often burns himself while practicing. In addition to this, his actual combat experience outside of bar brawls is nonexistent. His technique for battle is brute force. Considering his strength, it will work well in a battle against humans, but against other creatures he will have difficulty unless he can hone in a proper technique.
