Pokedex Entry ::
Short - These baby Pokemon are wrapped in a thick tuft of fur that will later determine what they will evolve into.
Long - Once they grow old enough, Selarkea will either discard their fur coat and head to the ocean, or stay with their mothers. This is but one way to determine what they will evolve into.

Description ::
Selarkea are small oddly shaped Pokemon. They have features of both a shark and a seal, while also being wrapped in a thick fur that seems to stay fluffy even when wet. They have a dark navy blue body with a light cream coloured belly. Their fur is pure white more than often. With large black eyes, they have yellow features lining their lips as well as small speckles of yellow around their eyes. Their fins are pointed like a sharks, but bend like a seals allowing them to move clumsily on dry land. Their tails are seal-like, but they have a small underdeveloped tail fin, that doesn't seem to aid or hinder them in the water.

Shiny ::
Shiny Selarkea have white bodies, while the fur has taken to a black colour. Their underbellies are gray, and the accents on their face are red. Their eyes however remain the same between both colour variants.

Habitat ::
Selarkea grow up with their mothers in the inner fresh water rivers of various regions, until their old enough to venture through the river to the ocean or sea where their father's live. They like to bundle with other Selarkea, but will often follow their mother's around to learn what it takes to survive. They prefer warmer climates, but can thrive in cold waters as well.

Eating habits ::
Selarkea feed on smaller fish Pokemon, such as Luvdisc or Remoraid. however, they do also like to eat ocean/sea vegetation like kelp and grass. They do like berries and some fruit that grow over the water and fall in.

Behavior ::
Extremely social and curious creatures, Selarkea will approach swimmers in the water, and swim along side them. They like to sing when happy, and at times sailors or swimmers believe they sound almost like a young maiden singing. They have several predators, so to keep safe Selarkea like to gather on high rocks, they get to these rocks by jumping from the water, but if rocks get to crowded in-flghting might start, though often times if the rocks get to crowded a small herd will just move to another part of the shore. If they encounter a predator within the water, their tiny bodies allow them to move fast through the water, and they can jump fairly high out of the water. Directing themselves near a shore or rock. They will run away before trying to fight.

Pokedex Entry ::
Short - Upon evolving they wear their Selkie Fur for the rest of their lives.
Long - If their fur is ruined or stolen, Selphkie will grow very depressed. They wear this fur for their entire lives.

Description ::
Selphkie have a somewhat human-like appearance, and long ago these Pokemon were often mistaken for women when they sat upon high rocks singing and combing their string-like hair. They are covered in thick lightblue leathery skin, with white underbellies. Upon closer inspection they don't look human at all. Upon their head they have a crest of various shades of blue. The crest will begin to form into hair-like strands which they like to comb to mimic human females. Around their hip section is a large semi-see through fin which has three large round blotches at either corner. This fin doesn't really aid them while they swim, however. The gem on their head is often a bright red. Their eyes are completely black, but they are quite sparkly. On their face they have similar yellow markings like Selarkea do. Finally, wrapped around their upper torso is a fur they wore as Selarkea, this fur can now come off, but they grow depressed if it's removed or ruined.

When a certain Water-type move is used*, Selphkie will change forms into a Seal-like form. The sea-like form appears much like it's humanoid form. Long and slender, it is covered in light blue fur with a similar crest on it's head. Their tails have several large blue dots on it, and their backs are alined with large blue dots as well.

Shiny ::
Shiny Selphkie have a dark red fur with a beige underbelly. Their crests have adopted a purple colour. Their gems are white and the markings on their face have turned silver. Their hip 'fin' remains semi-see through, but the dots have become a purple like their crests. The seel-form mimics these changes.

Habitat:
Selphkie, in the wild are often found more inland near waterfalls and springs. They can travel on land, allowing them to move to such places, but when outside the water or if their fur is dry for to long, they will grow sick. Selphkie cannot survive in extreme heat without water. They also do not favor well in extreme cold climates, such as places covered year-round in snow.

Eating habits :
Selphkie favor fruits and berries over meat. Their teeth are not entirely designed for meat or hard foods. They can also be seen eating vegetation like leaves or grass. They do like to eat seaweed as well.

Behavior :
Unlike their curious pre-evolutions, Selphkie are more inclined to shy away from humans. They fear their furs being stolen from humans, and due to their past experience with humans, it is reasonable that Selphkie would rather run away from humans then encounter them. When left alone, Selphkie like to sing. They socialize with other Pokemon and Selphkie very well.

Short - Proud Sharphean don't often spend time with others of their kind. They Train alone unless they have a child.
Long - Sharphean are not a fan of humans, especially fishermen. Many will test their might by trying to scare off fishermen, or even sinking ships.

Description ::
Sharphean are tall broad-shouldered creatures. They have a long angled head that sports long purple hair that flows at varying lengths. Their body is covered in hard dark navy blue scales, with a softer, but firm purple underbelly, this colour mirror's their head chest. They have large black eyes that take up most of their face. Sharphean have long forked tails that, like their hair, varies in length.

When a certain Water-type move is used*, Sharphean will change forms. Unlike their female counterparts, Sharphean resemble a Sharpedo closely, save Sharphean's long body. Like their humanoid forms, they are covered in thick, firm scales. Their head is primarily a dark purple, much like their bellies, and their body is made up of dark navy blue scales. Unlike their humanoid form, the 'Shark' form has golden accents, such as their eyes and three triangular spots near the corner of their mouths. These golden scales actually point out where their gills are.

Shiny ::
Shiny Sharpean are a mix of green and gray. Their heads being green, along with their underbellies, and their bodies being a ashy gray. Their eyes are still black however. The 'shark' form mirrors it's humanoid form, save for the golden accents are now silver.

Habitat:
Sharphean prefer the ocean, specifically deep waters. When going up towards the surface they prefer being in warmer waters rather than fringed waters, but some Sharphean do prefer colder waters.

Eating habits :
Unlike their female counterparts, Sharphean survive only on meat. They are 1oo% carnivores. They prefer fish that school as they are easier to hunt, like Wishiwashi and Tentacool. They don't mind tough meals, like Relicanth or even the hard to find Stunfisk.

Behavior :
Shaphean for whatever reason hate humans. Perhaps it is because they are extremely territorial, and seeing someone steal their food makes them angry. They will attack sailors and even swimmers if they come to close to their territory. Aggressive and testosterone driven, they don't like other Sharphean getting close to their feeding grounds. They however, will happily open their grounds to their kin. When it comes to their children, it seems they are often tough, but fair in how they raise them.
