Petro was always so concerned for everyone around him. He wasn't the most cheerful or immediately welcoming boil on campus but he did care and he did worry for the state of his fellow students. He was especially worried for his beloved and was headed to see how she was faring during these vine attacks.
But the vines overtook him and when he woke he was "No." He was on the island. He hadn't been here in years and he never wanted to be back here if he could avoid it.
And yet here he was. Anger and outrage had him rising to his feet, hands balling into fists in search of the other students. Because Petro knew better than to think he was the only one who would be brought here.
Movement from the corner of his eye had him lashing out without warning.
Pedro Trogo was doing his usual rounds when he saw an unfamiliar figure. A barely dressed, unfamiliar figure whose body was absolutely littered with scars. They looked lost and because Pedro was the friendly welcoming sort, he approached.
And got a fist to his jaw for his troubles.

When the tikbalang saw who and more importantly what it was he struck, he didn't see the bare resemblance he bore to the Hunter. All Petro saw was red. And he wanted more of it to come out of the Hunter and he wanted to paint it everywhere.
A club was brandished at him, but his gauntlets and grieves proved enough to block the pathetic attempt at attacking the monster. It didn't take long for Petro to reduce the Hunter to little more than the meat bag they all started out as.
