T a l e n t s:: Vanth has a head for business and dealing with people, making her charities quite profitable as she can squeeze money out of the hardest skinflint. Her brothers is good at the intimidation part if necessary, and has a surprising talent for painting.
Q u i r k s:: Charun has a mint-hued teardrop tattoo underneath his left eye. He got it on a dare from his sister, and she's the one that regrets it. Vanth has a nervous laugh that she absolutely hates and hasn't been able to get rid of.
S k i l l s:: Both can see undead creatures, be they ghosts or spirits or what-have-you. They can change their appearance, though they prefer not to, and are essentially immortal save for a few spells that could seal them. As a guardian, Vanth is able to serve as a safe-haven for those in need, her aura making those under her protection untouchable by evil spirits. Charun, as a guide, has an unholy sense of direction and it's impossible for him to get lost.

P e r s o n a l i t y:: Vanth is fairly laid-back and cheerful, although she does grow concerned over the smallest sorts of things. She likes to look after people, often forgetting to take care of herself in the process, and while she has a head for business, she's terrible with numbers, which is why she decided she needs an assistant. Being able to help someone just makes it that much better, in her opinion. Normally she's very kind and relaxed, but she does have horrible temper if someone tries to hurt her brother or something innocent. Other that that, it's very hard to get under her skin and she likes to listen to people rather than talk at them.
Her brother, Charun, is more hot-headed, but more friendly than most people seem to think. He doesn't look to go pick fights and his temper only flares up if his sister is hurt, for whatever reason. He enjoys being the muscle behind her charities and often does things under-the-table that his sister doesn't know about to help out. He's fairly easy-going and gentle, however, but will steadily protest that he's painted any of the pieces in their house. It's embarrassing. Neither of them mind having company around, even though they're fairly isolated due to their own choices, and many people seem to think that they're aloof and cold.
H i s t o r y:: Well, they began life in the Etruscan Underworld, both serving their individual roles for centuries. Eventually, however, their religion died off and faith vanished, leaving them without any sort of purpose in the world developing around them. Some of the gods faded from existence - the siblings simply continued on with a sense of purpose about them. They mucked about history, moving through time without leaving a mark, and both prefer this modern time that they've now come into. Over time, Vanth grew a liking for charitable organizations and, with wealth accumulated over the years through business sense - and knowing where certain treasures were buried thanks to speaking to the owners' ghosts - she began to start up several foundations to help women, children, and animals. They were all pet projects that soon grew beyond her initial dream and her brother had to step in to help. Now the two spend their time managing the corporations, having put capable human beings in charge of the day-to-day problems, and enjoying leisure time. Vanth began to grow overwhelmed with all the paperwork, however, so Charun suggested they simply go buy someone. That appealed to both their senses of duty, so they found the Hotel and were pleased that they could achieve two goals in one.
