It was that time of the year...the time when all the grown ups tried to push future endeavors onto the children. Skye had seen it all before and actually had a few pages of notes about it. He had charted which members of the staff asked more questions than others and even had individual responses from multiple other students. As such he knew which teachers to stray away from, but luckily he also knew what answers to give to make them happy and leave him alone. In his mind, trying to push a career onto someone so young and impressionable just wasn't right. Most children wouldn't know what they wanted to do either.

Then there were the goals that were unreachable for most. One that he had heard a few times was: "I want to be a fairy princess!" There was no way that could happen, besides wasn't that something that you had to be born into? Overall...he wasn't sure what he wanted to be when he got older and he knew that eventually something would catch his attention as far as employment went. For now, he was content with doing his own research on the kids he went to school with.

Perhaps that was what he could aspire to be. A researcher. It was something that he could control and he could even choose the subject of the research.
Maybe even some sort of medical profession? It was definitely a job that had plenty of room for discovery and so many different charts and things he could learn? It was definitely an option that he'd have to keep open.
