While Kazuma was hunched over in pain, Noire took the opportunity to kneel down and begin reciting a lengthy set of verses,
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty...."

Kazuma got up. He hobbled to-ward Noire, dragging his broken right shin. Then, he closed with Noire. Balancing on his left foot, he lifted his right foot in-to the air. Using his toes, he threw a push-kick at Noire's center.

Kazuma got up. He hobbled to-ward Noire, dragging his broken right shin. Then, he closed with Noire. Balancing on his left foot, he lifted his right foot in-to the air. Using his toes, he threw a push-kick at Noire's center, which was barely a foot off the ground, as he was prostrate and praying.
Noire, for his part, took the low ball kick, which spoke many things about Kazuma's honor - as Noire was demonstrably hesitant to kick a man while he was down, while Kazuma would not only kick a man while he was down - he would kick him while he was praying too. Noire continued praying.
"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence."
