The time had come, Kagerou never would have thought he would be doing jobs other than with his fellow horsemen but there he was... sitting at a desk. This had been a place where humans gave them their own currency and now the conquest horseman took on a job to help. It probably helped that the one who ran it all was of Conquest himself.. what was his name again? Ah that's right, Crane. Kagerou had heard briefly of Crane since he was low on the totem pole. Resting his cheek against his hand he stared at the things before him. If only this job would be as easy as a dice roll.

Kagerou's throat became awfully dry, his hand hesitantly moved up to pull his fur scarf closely against his face. The embarrassment was just too much as he watched Crane's occasional glaze towards him become non-existent. The poor conquest horseman wasn't good with interactions. Let alone processing anything except for those he tried to scout out. He didn't take it that way, this wasn't some scouting mission, this was a desk job to say the least. Kagerou's mind spun.. it was all to collect fear.. that's what was most important. So maybe he'd try again.

The dice seemed to not fall in his favor, maybe Kagerou wasn't cut out for these sorts of job. Patron after Patron came and went and Kagerou just slacked behind. He gazed around the place as he saw countless of other horsemen properly doing their jobs. But he seemed to be stuck in their shadow, which was a not a good place at that. He would be lucky if Crane even glance at him ever again even when not on the clock.
