[ TASK ] Crane would like you to take over for a sick employee in order to gauge your skills and also because time is money and a missing employee means missing possible money. It's time to do a little processing in order to prove your worth.
[ MECHANICS ] Roll 3d6 and match your results below. You may only take on two clients a day (two rolls).
Two matching numbers - You did all right. Not terribly, not fantastically, but you managed to at least get several things processed - and on time, to boot. There was a troublesome customer [ please rp this out ], but you managed to do well! ( pass )
All three matching numbers (except 6,6,6) - You did AMAZING. Crane is so impressed with your work that he decides to give you a pre-holiday bonus. He watches as you skillfully handle irate customers and confused patrons, especially one customer in particular who seems not to understand how banks work... [ please rp this out ] ( pass )
All three random numbers - You're average. Unremarkable. Dull. Crane seems very disappointed; he watches as you sluggishly move from patron to patron, but he leaves before your shift is over - which only settles in his lack of interest in you, even if you did manage to process a customer who likes to scream [ please rp this out ]. ( fail )
Sequential numbers (does not have to be directly in order - i.e. 2,3,1 is fine) - You're nothing spectacular, but Crane still seems to find you interesting, and perhaps a little amusing. He's observing your progress, and while you start off rocky when dealing with a customer who thinks money comes before breakfast [ please rp this out ], by the end of your temporary shift, you've got a knack for things. ( pass )
6, 6, 6 - You do so badly that Crane seems on the verge of throwing you out. He's not angry, per say, but he's wearing an expression that shows he is extremely displeased - and this coming from a man who does not like to be displeased. ( fail )

After the Bank Teller position went so well, Me'ah and Hush came back for later. She was smiling as they moved to process funds, which sounded like more work but also more fun. Crane helped to get her settled and she noticed Hush across the way and grinned at him with a wave. "Hey Hush! You can do it!" She shouted over at him, before she was set upon by customers. This wasn't as easy as matching numbers, as it took more paperwork and waiting and faxing and... Me'ah was exhausted after the third customer and shook her head.
Then it showed up.
Poofy orange hair stretched out from her body as the woman shuffled to her desk, completely blocking out Hush from afar. Me'ah frowned. "Yes, can I-"
"Can it and put this into my business account." The woman tossed a blue bag down and sat nearby. Me'ah stared at it and back up. "Um, I'm not-" She began, but the woman was already on her phone talking to someone else and Me'ah got to work with the paperwork in the bag. However, it had gone through either a wash, a swamp or the ocean.
"Ma'am this is..."
"I'm on the phone." The woman glared back.
"...I-if I can get your name?" Me'ah was trying her best to figure it out, but the woman wasn't hearing her so she sat for a moment. "Your name?"
"MERIDETH JONES!" The woman roared aggressively and grumbled.
"Okay..." Me'ah typed in quickly yo try to be done, but the woman glared back. "Do you have to type so loud?"
"Sorry..." She frowned, was this really how humans behaved? As she grumbled she tried to do it as quickly as possible. "Okay done..." She lied, taking the bag of money to go through later.
"ABOUT TIME!" The woman huffed before leaving.
Me'ah watched her go and stared back at the computer. "Why do people do this...?" She wondered, shrugging and looked back to Hush. "Hey, let's go somewhere better!
