Waking up he was assaulted with status updates. Please Backup data, service battery, systematic fault, etc. They had been showing up for a while, but he wasn’t sure what to do about them. There wasn’t exactly a shop that he could go to without there being a ton of questions. So he just blinked them away. Now that his vision wasn’t being obstructed, he could see that it was a little later in the morning judging by the light filtering into his apartment.
Sitting up and stretching, he leaned over, tapping his phone quickly. There were no messages waiting for him, which means he could relax for a bit. Getting up he threw on one of his oversized sweaters, not bothering with the gloves or pants. Why get dressed when he didn’t have to? He wasn’t expecting anyone and he had no plans on leaving till he had to. It didn’t take long for him to straighten out his hair and make up his bed.
Walking around his apartment, he checked on his terrariums and various plants. Practically every available surface had some type of plant on it. Most of them were terrariums with various mosses and succulents, but he had orchids and a few other flowering plants. He didn’t bother with any edible ones since he couldn’t eat them. No thanks to his creators. The flowers were nice to look at though. He could even smell them. It took a while to water and trim all of them, but it was relaxing.
Once that was all taken care of he checked his phone again. Still no messages. Shrugging, he turned on some music and grabbed a book. If no one called him by this afternoon he’d go in and check, but until then he was going to take advantage of the free time and catch up on some reading.
