- Katya is well versed (but not necessarily a master) in Boxing, Judo, Ninjutsu, Aikido, and multiple styles of Kung Fu, which is a little above average for most, though she’s certainly no fighting champion. In fact, she prefers guns over actual hand-to-hand combat, specifically shotguns and semiautomatic pistols. Katya’s strongpoint is infiltration, where she’s charmed her way through on many occasions. It’s common to find her taking on false aliases and personalities. Katya’s fluent in Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German. While she’s not the best with technology, she’s relatively clever with analyzing information, and she has impressive intuition when it comes to solving cases.

- Her weakness is that she gets distracted relatively easily, particularly when it comes to her own feelings/views on the situation. Katya’s established many intimate relationships with her fellow agents, and she can’t bring herself to set strangers over who she values more. In one occasion, she chose to attempt rescuing her partner in a hostage crisis, but failed to save both her partner and the hostages, something she mentally refers back to in order to keep herself in check. She occasionally gets carried away with her aliases.

In such a mobile career, she’s made an effort to be very social with others, and is well-received for her positive outlook and happy-go-lucky nature. Katya enjoys humoring others even during missions, because she feels as if it’s too emotionally taxing when taken too seriously. - Ekaterina “Katya” Polyanova was born December 1, 1988 in Moscow, Russia to former KGB agents Kazimir and Verônica Polyanov, both murdered at their home on November 23, 1996 by an unknown assailant. Her aunt, retired ISIA agent Kristina Zelyaeva took custody and brought the girl to the United States where she’d spend the rest of her youth. Katya would go on to be mentored by her aunt and later solve the murder of her own parents, but was upset to discover that the reason of their assassination was due to their terrible crimes in the KGB. She resolved to follow a different path, training to be a detective, but was directed to the Agency by her aunt. Katya would go on to be inducted into the Agency in 2014 and has been with them ever since.
