- While he couldn’t fight to save his life, his versatile intellect allows him to outsmart his opponents. As anyone who may call himself a hacker, he has a vast understanding of programming, operating systems, networking, cryptography, reverse engineering/debugging, and anti-forensics. His occupation is a hacker is what he’s best know for, but his skill set extends beyond in fields such as electrical engineering and physics. This has proven useful, as he’s designed much of IO’s tech himself. He is a highly cunning strategist and has even coordinated some of IO’s missions.

- His most obvious weaknesses are his own arrogance and his immense vulnerability in the absence of his own tools of trade. He’s most effective employing his technological genius, and is largely powerless to stop anyone whom has deprived him of this crucial advantage.

- An antisocial, cocky, and short-tempered control freak, Kirk thrives on his ability to utilize technology and wit to gain the upper hand on his foes. While he isn’t necessarily socially awkward, he’s most comfortable communicating with people indirectly, since he knows its the most secure way to go about things. He thoroughly enjoys mischief, toying with enemies and leaving a trail of "bread crumbs” to lead his trackers on wild goose chases filled with elaborate.

- The internet entity known as the Mockingbird is none other than 28-year-old Kirk Becker, considered one of, if not the most dangerous black hat hackers in the world. His reign of internet terror began when he was twelve, and his success has only greatened since. At some point, he was recruited by IO, who offered him the means to further his endeavors in exchange for their protection and nigh-unlimited resources. The ISIA has been trying to track him for years to no avail.

- ▪ He took his alias from the mockingbird that regularly settled right outside his window, ceaselessly chirping its song. His audio recording of its song plays in loop in his signature, alongside a rotating mockingbird symbol.
▪ Kirk was inspired by his idol, the DC villain known as Edward Nigma a.k.a. The Riddler. He often makes homages to the character by using similar puzzles and gimmicks.
