Name: Tsuki Mizutou ↬ Maiden name: Mizutou Nickname: Nezu ↬ Tsuki is rather polite so she usually introduces herself last-name first. The sound of the “Mizu” syllables in Tsuki’s name combined with her mouse-like nature inspired someone to come up with the nickname “Nezu.” Since then, it’s just become the go-to nickname for Tsuki.
Nindo: “When in fear, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout… Hue?!” Uzumaki Catchphrase: Dattekupo ↬ Tsuki rarely uses her catchphrase. Not having been raised by other Uzumakis, her catchphrase was always seen as weird so she’s gradually grown into not using it. She’s more likely to end her sentences with “Hue?!” then her own catchphrase. Although, blood does run deep. To the point that the catchphrase is so natural for Tsuki that, every now and then, she’ll slip up and use it.
Background Info Other Info: Tsuki likes flowers and animals. They’re two of the very few things that frighten her less than most things.

• Stage One_ The Clumsy: You're not elegant at all. Your genjutsu sucks. It looks like there's someone's mutated body sticking out of your back. And you're still not invisible, at all. Or even lightly cloaked. Your leaps/glide are clumsy, and are barely any better or further than your average Genin's jumps. They're not faster, either. Don't expect to be elegant, or to hit anything using this stage. Don't even fight with it unless you want to look like you were hit on the head as a child. NUTSHELL >> you suck. • Stage Two_ The Budding: Your fake image is now at least accurate. It looks just like you, and glides beside you. However, the point of the style is that the image is like its own living creature, and that you're concealed beside it. The image doesn't move, so you can't really fool anyone with it. It's a pretty stupid idea to use this in combat, although some people may be confused as to which one is you if you disguise it properly. Your gliding and jumping is getting better, further, and faster. Your aim is more precise, but not much more. You can expect to fail a lot when you try to strike people with this, and rarely succeed. It's still not combat efficient. NUTSHELL >> slightly faster, more accurate, better at the long leaps/gliding >> the false image (that almost acts as an AI in later stages) is still clumsy, but it actually looks like you instead of an aborted martian
c h u u n i n
• Stage Three_ The Colliding: You've finally learned how to enter your invisibility while you glide/strike, but only at last second. So, it looks as if you're bursting into their body, but it should be pretty obvious to them that it's a fake. The image is now more difficult to tell from you. In fact, it's almost impossible. It literally makes the same exact movements as you, at the same time. It reads from your brain, since your chakra is commanding it. Your precision is increasing, and your speed, now up to a full number. This style is actually useful now, where it was once useless. NUTSHELL >> faster (+1 total speed), with increased precision, long leap/glide range >> your false self is now intelligent and responds to your movements, but you can't enter invisibility for longer than a second and a half or so
• STAGE ONE -- FREE TO (Stat boosts : +1 str/0spd): The basis of the style was the three arrows loaded into different launch-points. The bow essentially launches by using magnetic force, triggered by pressing the buttons on the handle of the crossbow. There are four buttons; the first three launch arrows from either of the three points, and the fourth launches all three arrows at once. It's easy to press the buttons accurately even during heavy combat, because they're on the other side of the handle, where your fingers grip the bow. It's simple enough to just press down on your fingers. The arrows, at this point, move only as quickly as you'd expect from arrows. Although they are accurate, they're not nearly on the level they rise to from a honed practice in the style. Reloading the bow is not necessary; this weapon style is very tied in with jutsu and chakra. After the three arrows on your bow have been fired, new ones will quickly form back in place. However, you may only fire three arrows per post unless otherwise stated. • Back to Bowing • Three Wings • The Acid Flask (3 chakra/post)
c h u u n i n
• STAGE TWO -- FLY LIKE (Stat boosts: +1str/+1spd):Covering your legs, there are thorns. This style is very connected to nature, and as its user, so are you. The thorns do not pierce into your flesh; even if they were to do so, it wouldn't affect you. These thorns have rooted into the earth and risen out from it to give you its power. They bring life to your legs, and even span to your arms, increasing your movement, and your aim. The thorns reach into the body of the bow, and hold it steady. In this stage, the thorns will hold the bow in place, wherever it was, so you can let go of it to make handseals, or whatever else you plan to do. This display of nature shows that this style is tied in with life. These thorns are living. They want to serve you, their master. Ironically, although this was the style practiced by his offspring who killed him, this style was only made possible through Adniel's connection to nature. The speed of your arrows has increased significantly, now hard to catch on to. The shots are also significantly stronger; they scale off of your strength, and high strength equals shots easily capable of puncturing steel, and with proper aim, puncturing even harder metals. • Orion • The Phantom Dragon • Evolution

Tattoos:
↬ Tsuki has a set of tattoos that collectively take the design of multiple wings. At each of her shoulder bones, Uzumaki sealing tattoos etched in white, almost silvery ink extend from her shoulder bones onto her arms, wrapping their skinny shape all the way down to the back of Tsuki’s hands. In the same color is a second pair of wing tattoos that start in the middle of her back, one below the left should bone and the other below the right. These tattoos circle around her waist to the front of her body, where the wing shape that that they design take a steep dip to between the legs. The width of the wings narrow on the way down to the legs and continue to narrow as they spiral down the legs much as the first set of wings spiral down the arms. Once the pair of tattoos reach the knees of the legs they are spiraling down, the seals written into the tattoos are shaped into a ring right below the knees. Below the knees is the third and last pair of wings on Tsuki’s body. The seals that make up these wings start at the outside of each ankle. Rather than spiraling up anything like the previous two wings, the wings flare straight up the outside of each leg. These wings, etched into Tsuki’s body with the same silver-white ink, end right below the second pair of wings. ↬ The front of Tsuki’s torso not covered by wings is dominated by a demon sealing tattoo written in practical black. Stretching from several inches below her navel all the way up her chest, it’s a large and noticeable seal but also very powerful. At least, all evidence points to it’s power considering it’s kept Tsuki’s literal inner demon locked away for over five years. ↬ In the space on Tsuki’s back between the wing tattoos, Tsuki has also etched in several sealing tattoos that, when seen together create a wispy vine growing up her spine up to the base of her neck. Blooming from the vine are several flowers, tastefully spaced out so that nothing looks too cluttered. Tsuki originally wanted wisterias, a homage to her family name, but there wasn’t enough space to do the drooping flower bunches any justice.

Tsuki offered her blood as a tribute and called forth the strongest ally she had at her beck and call: Kitsune.
"How bold," the fox beauty commented as she stepped out of the pile of smoke that accompanied nearly every summoning. Her amber eyes flickered over the smoke and debris as her tails glowed. She was in human form. Tsuki shouted out the coordinates of the where she had last seen the god, and the fox obliged. There had been a reason why the little girl had been one of the last to arrive, and it was to prepare for this battle with her summons. Kitsune knew the plan: hit the enemy with everything she had right from the start. It would be bad if this god increased in power the longer he was free.
Before Kitsune could finish charging, however, Noboyuki had reached the god. The whirlwind his advance generated had cleared much of the visual hindrances and placed a clear marker over the god's current location. Kitsune held back her attack for just a little longer, hand poised over her mouth. This wasn't part of the plan, but she knew best.
Tsuki trusted her ally. The age-old fox knew more about battle than her. She had her own part to accomplish in this battle. The defenses had been dealt with. With the target on top of a giant iceberg like he was, there wasn't much Tsuki could do without getting dangerously close, so she drew a giant circle into the ground, tracing out its form with her finger. The circle animated, numbers flashed within it, and when Tsuki finished the preparation, it split itself into four quarters that flew off the ground.
Meanwhile, when Noboyuki closed in to land the last hit of his current combo, Kitsune blew a kiss to Mack, releasing the energy stored in her tails as a small ball of energy (True Fury of Five Elements). The attack sped towards the god with all the power of an SS-rank attack, despite its unassuming size, but the distance Tsuki had put in initially would extend the travel time just long enough so that the ball would reach its destination just as Mack would finish his reaction to Noboyuki's attack. Whether or not it hit anything, especially if Mack dodged, the sphere would explode at the point it should have hit Mack, and it would explode gloriously.
Tsuki's attack was far more precise. The flying pieces of her seal homed in on Mack amidst all the distractions and more important things. Once locked-on, the seal would activate and try to trap Mack. Tsuki wasn't altogether too optimistic about the success of this jutsu. She didn't expect it to even come close to sealing Mack even with the S-rank variety she used, but she hoped that it could somehow hinder his movements to give an opening for others, or at least make him waste some chakra to dispel the trap.

This connection to nature also gives them a sense of nature; they can feel disturbances in chakra, and can greatly perceive others' chakra, though only the shift in chakra (like with technique usage), not the ebb and flow. ↬ The Uzumaki are very accurate when it comes to throwing projectiles. ↬ Fuuinjutsu can be used without without handseals at chuunin rank and above. ↬ All Fuuinjutsu can be shaped in particular ways (for example, a barrier can be shaped into a shield). ↬ Seals, scrolls and barriers can travel through organic and synthetic material ↬ Slightly enhanced perception.

The required handseals and percise chakra control animates the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude. once made the users can switch the circle from track to trap and cause the circle to envelop whatever mysterious spiritual force it finds. It even has the power to seal a demon away. A Rank cost for normal use, S Rank for use on demons and jinchuuriki.

Training ↬ Fuuinjutsu technique training is halved.
On a quaint island in the Water Country, Tsuki was born to a civilian family who had, through many generations, gained a respectable reputation as skilled flower arrangers. In this family, Tsuki was the fifth-born, the fifth in line, and highly unlikely to inherit the family business. She was not a neglected child for this, though. If anything, she lived happily and was raised well. Quiet and polite, her parents and siblings easily bore with her. Easily frightened, she was often considered quite cute for her many fears. She wasn’t the youngest, she had two even younger siblings, but Tsuki quite firmly held the position of adorable younger sister in the hearts of her older siblings. In the hearts of the younger ones, well, they never got to know Tsuki quite well enough.
Calamity struck the village when Tsuki was only four years old, and it struck in one of the most literal ways. Someone, somewhere had released the seal on the Kyuubi and now it rampaged through the part of the world Tsuki played and lived in. The first signs were unsettling oceans, violent waves tore the surface of the sea, the resulting ripples, if they can be considered that when they were the size of a full-grown man, of the Kyuubi’s actions on the other side of the sea. Day by day, the ocean grew rougher. Until, one day, a shudder of the earth coursed through the village. Shelves fell, older houses collapsed, and a few of the elderly busted their hips. The small earthquake startled all the residents, who were unaccustomed to such events. Little Tsuki, herself, had instinctively run all the way from the backyard, where she had been playing, to her bed so that she could hide beneath the covers. Of course, the rest of her family had a good laugh at Tsuki’s fright, and with the laugh, they quickly returned to ordinary life, as if the earth had never shuddered.
Too bad the world couldn’t simply laugh off its problems like Tsuki’s family could. A little less than half an hour after the quake, the tides surrounding the island’s western shore, the shore facing the continent, pulled back. Abnormally large stretches of what was usually ocean floor hidden by shallow waters were revealed as in the distance, an ominous bump of water approached the island. The wave grew bigger and bigger as it neared, and as it neared, those who saw it came to realize just what they saw. The cowardly, the brave, the young, the old, they all ran. Those who cared enough sounded an alarm, warning those who hadn’t seen the approaching wave of water of the swiftly approaching tsunami.
Tsuki’s family was one of the many families that benefited from the alarm, and they immediately moved to evacuate themselves, but it was too late. By the time the Mizutous all left the house, they could already see the towering wall of water looming over buildings at the outskirt of town. They all ran as fast as they could from the swallowing waves, the older ones clutching tightly to the little ones, Tsuki being one of those that were carried. However, there was no helping it, the waves caught up and, like many others before them, the Mizutous were engulfed in its embrace. Tsuki wouldn’t know exactly who lived and who died in the calamity. The only casualties she’s absolutely certain of were her younger sister’s and her second oldest brother’s. The second oldest had grabbed onto both Tsuki and the other sister, and he had held onto the two, protecting them, to the last. Sadly, his sacrifice could only protect Tsuki, and Tsuki gained another human cushion from the elements in the form of her younger sister’s cold, dead body.
The young, four year old Tsuki didn’t understand. She couldn’t understand. The protection of the dead had only barely kept her alive. While she breathed, she did so faintly. While she was intact, she still had a large gash in her forehead and a streak of pain would travel through her torso whenever she tried to move. She was hurt, unable to move, unable to think beyond the most basic thoughts, and bleeding to death. In the distance, Tsuki could vaguely hear roars, crashing, and crumbling. It was a cacophony of sounds that would have scared Tsuki individually all meshed into one, horrifying noise. If she could, she would have run. As it was, though, she could barely crawl. The extent her fear could move her body was a slight twitch of the fingers and jerk of the hand as it struggled to pull the body even a centimeter away from the frightening sounds. Tsuki passed out amidst this fear, a pathetic state befitting her pathetic courage.
↬ One week later
Tsuki sat in a medical tent, her bed accompanied by the beds of other survivors. She, like the others in the tent, had been found by the shinobi that had chased the Kyuubi to the island Tsuki called home, an island that had been thoroughly shattered and sunk by the Kyuubi’s violence. After the shinobi had subdued, contained, and resealed the Kyuubi, they had searched for and tended to whatever survivors they could find. There weren’t many. Those who had survived the initial tsunami were already few in number. Those who, after surviving the tsunami, had not died to any unfortunate accidents caused by simply being too near to the rampaging nine-tailed demon were even fewer. Somehow, Tsuki was one of the lucky few. Although, she hardly seemed grateful for it.
It wasn’t like she wanted to die or felt survivor’s guilt. No, she liked living and would very much prefer to continue living. However, she could hardly celebrate her continuing life when she was alone and frightened, the two negatives impacting and multiplying each other. Tsuki wanted her family back. She wanted someone familiar in this sea of scary and unfamiliar faces. She wanted someone to comfort her as she huddled into her bed whenever tales and stories of the nine tail’s frightening actions were passed around by the bored inhabitants of the tent. However, no one came. Tsuki did not know why, nor would she ever find out why.
By the end of the entire ordeal, Tsuki was registered as an orphan and it was decided she would be taken under the wing of Kumogakure, where she would earn her living as a shinobi of the village, after being properly educated of course. Frightened by the prospect of moving, Tsuki cried and wailed, but as was her nature, her wails quickly turned into whimpers as she obediently followed, or rather, was obediently carried. One of the Kumogakure shinobi she was to be traveling with took pity on the little four year old and decided to carry her in his arms rather than forcing her to walk somewhere she clearly didn’t want to go. For the majority of the trip, Tsuki hid her face inside the chest of this shinobi. He was still a frightening stranger, but he was at least less frightening than all the other oddities around Tsuki.
↬ Settling into Kumogakure
The moment Tsuki arrived in Kumogakure was the moment the preparation for her future as a shinobi began. Her formal education started a month after her arrival, but in the preceding month, she was settled into Kumogakure with all haste. She and several other orphans, it seemed like Kumogakure had brought in as many orphans as they could to train into shinobi, were placed into a living complex together. All ten of them shared just two guardians. As some of the orphans were already of decently mature age, the oldest being 15, they were able to help take care of each other so two guardians was plenty.
Just as they all inhabited the same place, all 10 of them attended the same classes. The reason they were kept together was because they would all feel comfortable together, particularly the older ones as it might be embarrassing to take classes with strangers who were years younger. The ten former citizens of Mizu no Kuni lived and studied together, and over the years, they grew bonds that would make them akin to siblings. Even the frightened Tsuki managed to warm up to everyone else within the first few weeks, earning herself the rather affectionate nickname Nezu in the process. Some of them had known each other before the Kyuubi’s attack had destroyed their home, others didn’t. Regardless, they all shared a common bond: they were all orphans, as far as each one knew, who had suffered from the nine-tailed bijuu. It was through this bond they could relate to each other and grow closer to each other.
It was during their education in Kumogakure that each of the orphans learned that they hadn’t been randomly picked. For instance, the oldest had been trained in the rudimentary basics. Tsuki, during her post-attack medical treatment was discovered by the medical shinobis present to have inherited faint traces of Uzumaki blood, something Tsuki unknowingly inherited from her great grandmother on her mother’s side of the family. In addition to the basic shinobi education, Tsuki’s talent for sealing was preciously cultivated and directed. Already, her path was decided. After the proper training, Tsuki would join Kumogakure’s impressive collection of sealers. She would, in particular, focus her efforts on controlling the Kyuubi, who was planned to be sealed within one of the orphans Tsuki considered her new family. Of course, Tsuki didn’t know about any of this. She was too young to understand, but she was meant to be told about her role once she was older. However, fate determined that was to never happen.
↬ Setsuna Watanuki
Setsuna was an odd one, flitting from one thing to the next, but she was also the oldest of the Kumogakure orphans, and despite her randomness, she was always the most responsible. The Kyuubi had destroyed her home when she was 15. With the help of a telescope, Setsuna saw her parents, who had been Kirigakure shinobi but had retired years ago in favor of a peaceful life, die miles away as they tried to hold the tailed beast off of their island. As neither of Setsuna’s parents expected or wanted her to become a kunoichi, and neither did Setsuna, she only knew the most rudimentary basics of being a ninja, taught to her only so she could use it for self-defense.
However, it was this slight head start and her standing as the oldest and most responsible of the group that led to her being the first attempt. Kumogakure, for playing the largest role in sealing the Kyuubi, had gained ownership of the Kyuubi and its village leaders were eager to place it into one of their own shinobi. It was this desire that had prompted them to collect the ten orphans, which included Setsuna and Tsuki. After all, who better to expect caution in the use of Kyuubi from than someone who’s life had been destroyed by it?
In Setsuna, the leaders saw someone they could teach a bit quicker than the rest and someone who had shown responsibility all while maintaining her status as a victim who didn’t look like she’d carelessly release Kyuubi. Certainly, she was a bit unstable, exhibiting mood changes at purely random intervals. Sometimes, she’d go weeks acting sane and then go loony all at once, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. They didn’t know if she had always been like that or if it was recent. Setsuna, for a fact, knew it was a direct cause of the Kyuubi’s attack. After all, she was the one that instigated her slightly crazy act. Following the attack and death of her parents, all Setsuna wanted was to curl up into a ball and cry. However, in no time, she found herself in the position of oldest and immediately she placed upon herself the responsibility of the oldest. To keep the others, particularly the younger ones that relied on her the most, from worrying over her, she had kept up a constant stream of randomness so that whenever she did really break down, they would simply assume she was just doing her random thing. It was a strange solution, and perhaps Setsuna’s choice to not only go along with this solution but also pull it off successfully was proof in of itself that she really might be crazy. Whatever insanity she may or may not have had, though, Setsuna had always placed her adopted family of Kumo orphans first, and no matter what mood she enacted, she never took the Kyuubi lightly. That was how she earned her standing as the most responsible and retained enough prudence for the village leaders to believe she would be careful as a jinchuuriki.
This decision, of course, wasn’t immediate. One year passed, Setsuna was 16, before she was taken to become the new Kyuubi host. The sealing was a success. Setsuna returned with nary a change besides the whisker-like black marks on each cheek and a circular seal on her belly button that she showed off to everybody and joked about to ease their worries. She played and kid, ran random laps around the kitchen table every now and then, spooked poor Nezu and then immediately cuddled and cooed her, and was her usual randomly random self. Nothing seemed to have changed. Setsuna hid it all. Just like she held in her grief and despair, she also locked up the voices and thoughts that the Kyuubi flooded her mind with.
The Kyuubi, not being one to take captivity peacefully, whispered into Setsuna’s mind constantly. ”You think you can contain me? What if, one day, you slip? It’s better for everyone if you just run far away,” it would coo. Sometimes, it would switch tactics, ”Hmph. I know we got off to a bad start, what with me destroying your village and this constant whispering, but really, I’m harmless. Our lives our now tied together. I just want to help you.” And of course, the Kyuubi would try to lure Setsuna with tantalizing offers of power, ”You saw my power with your own two eyes. You remember it. Have nightmares about it. It could be yours to harness if you’d just let me take over for just a little bit, just long enough to show you how to use my power. You could protect those you care for in the same way you wished to protect your island from me.” Setsuna couldn’t hide her mental insecurities from the Kyuubi like she could hide it from her fellow orphans. She couldn’t hide her mind from something that was in it. The Kyuubi sought to break the girl or convince her, whichever came first.
Setsuna had tried to confront the Kyuubi at first. She had stood boldly in front of his cage and demanded, “Why?!”. She demanded an answer from the Kyuubi for striking the peaceful island villages it had destroyed. It seemed like the right thing to do as the older sister of all the orphans. It was through this confrontation that the Kyuubi learned of his host’s insecurities. He ignored her at first, avoiding the question by returning to the topic of letting him take control for just a little bit, and she grew frustrated. A few days later, he gave cryptic replies, and she demanded straight ones. In time, however, the Kyuubi grew frustrated at his host’s iron will.
Eventually, the Kyuubi ended his trickery and snarled at his host, violently banging at the bars that sealed him within Setsuna. ”Silence!” it threatened in a growl that echoed throughout Setsuna’s mindscape, ”What is an ant like you thinking? Asking questions to the great me?! If you do not wish to accommodate me, then leave! But let me warn you. One day, when you are weak and tired, I will certainly break loose, and you will rue that day. Kumogakure will fall for daring to imprison me.”
That was that. No more the Kyuubi whispered. It locked itself and its powers away, but Setsuna cared nothing for the Kyuubi’s powers. She thought she was finally free. Confident in her abilities to not give in to weakness like the Kyuubi had forewarned, she ceased to worry about the Kyuubi’s threats within a few weeks.
However, the Kyuubi was as as wise as it was vicious. His threat held true. Two years since the Kyuubi was sealed into Setsuna, Setsuna was sent on a routine mission. This was supposed to be just another bandit hunt. It was, until the bandit was unmasked.
“Maro-san?!”, Setsuna immediately recognized the bandit. One of her squadmates, a fellow Mizu orphan who went by the name Midori, thought Setsuna was just doing her random thing and teased, “Right, so now that you’re done naming this one, let’s detain him, yeah?”. “No no!” she stopped Midori with an extended hand to show that she was serious, “This was a neighbor of mine on my island. Maro-san! That’s you, right? You recognize me? Setsuna! Watanuki Setsuna?”. Midori, still not certain how serious Setsuna was decided to give her some time, but didn’t withdraw his weapon. In the back, two other squadmates whispered among themselves. A team of four might have seemed like a lot for such a simple mission, but the extra personnel was a back-up in case the Kyuubi within Setsuna was released. “Get away from me!” Maro threatened Setsuna as she tried to get closer to him, “I don’t care who you are! You’re just one of those stinkin’ nins now! Get back!”. Stealing and thievery had become Maro’s only ways to earn his bread, and such illegal activities created a healthy dose of fear and disgust for the shinobi. Maro felt no need to answer to any ninja. Midori, who had been juggling his weapon stopped and took a step forwards. “Well, I guess that’s that,” he reasoned that Maro, even if Setsuna really did know him, was not someone who was going to come willingly. The two other shinobi took Midori’s cue and also began advancing.
The movements were all slow and steady, yet at the same time, Setsuna perceived everything to be moving too quickly. She lived so she could protect. Finally, after all these years, she found herself reunited with one of the people she failed to protect years ago, but now her mission was to hunt them. She had a duty to her village, to kill the bandit if he resisted. She had a duty to her morals, to not harm someone she knew, or rather wanted to believe, was only evil because of circumstances. Setsuna’s mind faltered, it grew weak. The Kyuubi practically purred as it sensed the weakness, but it did not yet strike. He didn’t want to waste this perfect opportunity and jump the gun too early.
The bandit Setsuna used to know charged one of the shinobi. The shinobi would have been perfectly safe, the bandit’s attack was easy to defend against, but Setsuna’s mind didn’t register that and, in a needlessly reckless and ill-fated action, Setsuna thrust herself between bandit and shinobi, earning herself a knife in the liver. As the knife was twisted and pulled out as Midori tackled the bandit away from Setsuna, it cut even more organs. Light quickly faded from Setsuna’s eyes. The bars and chains that held back the Kyuubi quickly faded. “Relax,” the demon spoke in its most I-told-you voice, ”Allow me. I have experience in destroying those you know. Just leave it all to me.” As, in Setsuna’s mind, the limber fox passed by Setsuna, he condescended to stroke her chin with a tail. Mind and body both weak, Setsuna let herself go and gave full control to the demon. A red aura surrounded Setsuna and very quickly, her body progressed through the various demon stages, too quick for any of her companions to stop it.
Setsuna’s whisker marks darkened. Her irises grew red as her pupils slitted. The red aura deepened in color and bubbled. One tail. The Kyuubi used Setsuna’s body to punch the lights out of the medic that was healing her. Two tails. The Kyuubi charged the bandit and tore him to shreds. Three tails. As the other nameless shinobi tried to revive the first nameless shinobi, Midori confronted the Kyuubi-controlled Setsuna. Four tails. Midori was somehow holding his own. Five tails. Now, Setsuna’s strength was just ridiculous, and the second nameless shinobi had to come and help. Six tails, a lucky hit broke Midori’s neck. If Setsuna hadn’t completely given up by that point, she certainly did now. Then suddenly eight tails. What used to be a fatal wound to the liver had been completely healed. In fact, Setsuna was healing so quickly, she was essentially dying. At this point, though, she was as good as dead. She had entered what was classified as the third stage. The medic that was just now recovering consciousness wasn’t a skilled enough sealer to stop the ninth tail from sprouting. With the freedom of the ninth tail, uncontrolled by a host, Kurama was finally free of his seals.
What happened next was a more contained repeat of three years ago, when the Kyuubi had rampaged through the Water Country. However, at least now, with the closer proximity of Kumogakure and, consequently, the sealers that had managed to seal the Kyuubi those three years ago, the damage was greatly lessened.
Setsuna, at age 18, lost control of the Kyuubi and lost her life in the process. Tsuki was only seven.
The next host
Turmoil filled the meeting room as the various leaders that worked together in helping the Raikage run Kumogakure argued back and forth. For whatever reason, the bulk of the responsibility for choosing the Kyuubi’s host was placed on them, with the Raikage telling them to simply come to him for final approval. Voices bickered back and forth. “Now? Pick out a new host now? It’s too soon!” “The sooner the better! It will give the new host more time to adjust. Besides, we already have a firm grasp on the personalities of the orphans.” “Yes, a ‘firm grasp.’ Isn’t that exactly what you said when we picked poor Setsuna? Didn’t you advocate that it was clear her spirit would not be broken by the Kyuubi?” “Why you. What is your problem, huh? Always. Always you go against me! Do you have something against me? Huh?” “Ladies. Ladies. Please, calm down. Let us focus on the matter at hand, hm?” “I’m not a lady!” “But you sure look like one, hm? Now, about this demon-choosing business. Well, what do you say?” “M-me?!” “Yes, I remember you didn’t say a word during the last discussion, so there’s certainly nothing that can be tossed at you for whatever opinion you express, right?” “Uh… yes. I think… I guess so? Urhm… I think we should pick the new host b-because, I mean, waiting won’t do anything, right?” “Exactly!” “A vote! I call for a vote!” Left to right. Back to forth. The respected men and women of Kumogakure’s leadership bickered like children until they finally decided to immediately make Tsuki the next host, and by immediately, they meant after they’d all had a good sleep, so the day after tomorrow. Tsuki’s role had drastically changed from one of the nine orphans that were meant to provide support, both moral and technical, for the Kyuubi host into becoming the host of the Kyuubi. Although, it wasn’t like she knew how much her life had twisted off the path the village leaders intended for her. Tsuki was still blissfully oblivious to any future obligation she might have had.
On the chosen day—or rather, the dead of night—Tsuki was taken just as Setsuna had been from the place they both had grown to call home. The seven year old was dressed in white, still mourning for the loss of both the quirky girl she considered her older sister and the confident boy she considered her older brother. From that night on, from the very moment when it was explained to her that she would have the Kyuubi sealed within her, Tsuki knew the fear of her relatively new fate.
↬ Living with the Kyuubi
Mutters and murmurs followed Tsuki wherever she walked. If she could, she would have avoided it all, being the coward she was, but she really had held off on buying groceries for too long. Tsuki’s fridge contained a solitary onion and a jug of water, nothing more. She needed to shop and to shop, she needed to actually interact with people who would point and whisper about the markings on her face.
Unconsciously, Tsuki moved the white scarf she wore over her face and buried her nose into the cloth in an attempt to hide her black, whisker-like markings. Despite all the secrecy that her sealing had been undertaken with, the moment people saw her whiskers the day after the sealing, they all knew she was the new host of the Kyuubi. There were some that shrugged and flippantly explained to anyone who would listen that there was nothing to fear. After all, Kumogakure had a record of success when it came to handling jinchuurikis that had lost control. Although, the fact that they talked about such things meant they were already assuming Tsuki would eventually lost control. Others gave Tsuki frightened looks, as if she was a ticking time bomb, and gave her lots of space. They couldn’t be blamed. Setsuna had acted normally up until the very day she released the Kyuubi. Still others would glance at her, but then try to act completely normal. They were trying to be nice, but Tsuki could still feel their gazes and hear their whispers when they least thought she could. Regardless, Tsuki always felt like everyone noticed her the moment she stepped out into any public space.
Although, as bad as public reactions were to her sealing, seeing the faces of her fellow orphans the day after the sealing was even worse. Tsuki still cringed as she remember the collection of looks on the six faces: the two oldest had died and one of the orphans had run away from the village a few years back, leaving only six others to stare at Tsuki. There was a mixture of pity, surprise, and anger but all the faces held fear for various reasons. There was the fear of another rampaging Kyuubi, since Setsuna’s release, they all could guess at how their first experience with the Kyuubi came to be. There was the fear for Tsuki’s life. There was the fear that if Tsuki failed, one of them would be the next. Add onto it all Tsuki’s own fear, which was tenfold of what anyone felt, and she was just completely crushed by it.
It was so bad, Tsuki immediately asked to be moved to her own place. Of course, being only seven, they couldn’t grant her request just yet, so she had to settle with her own room. As soon as she could, though, Tsuki moved out, and here she was, thirteen years old and living alone. Somehow, she had managed to live most of her life largely ignoring the demon inside of her, much like how she ran away from everything else frightening. The sealers had promised that Tsuki’s seal would be many times stronger than Setsuna’s. They had promised she would be safer. It seemed that they weren’t lying. It had been around six years and Tsuki had yet to hear the Kyuubi’s voice even once. Even during the grueling chuunin exams Tsuki had passed rather unspectacularly a little over a month ago, there wasn’t a single sign that reminded Tsuki that she was the Kyuubi’s jinchuuriki. All that was left to do was to live the rest of her life just like this, always ignoring and running away from the source of her scariest memories, which just so happened to be bottled up within her.
Tsuki would often repeat to herself,

Custom Jutsus Name of Jutsu: Big Bomb Rank of Jutsu: B-SS Jutsu's Element:n/a Jutsu Type: Fuuinjutsu Do you want you Jutsu added to the Guild List: No Description: Improving on the standard explosion seal, this seal not only hits harder but can be adjusted over a wide range of power levels. Putting more chakra into the seal creates a bigger and stronger explosion, following the standard scale of ranked techniques. At S- and SS-rank, one of these seals alone can destroy a village.
Name of Jutsu: The Disappearance of the Clowns Rank of Jutsu: S-SS Jutsu's Element:n/a Jutsu Type: Fuuinjutsu Do you want you Jutsu added to the Guild List: No Description: Using a seal, the user generates a black hole that sends everything within a foot of the seal into an alternate dimension. If there's anything only partially in the area of effect, only the part that is within range will be ripped off of the whole and sent into the alternate dimension, creating a neat indicator of where exactly the effects of the jutsu were felt. The SS-rank variety functions exactly like The Death of the Clowns, except instead of seeing the target and being within five feet, the user must place a seal on the target and may activate it at any range.
Name of weapon:Mugen Ittama (Infinite One Sphere) Who owns the weapon: Tsuki Mizutou Where it was found/Who made it: The Mugen Ittama are a collection of tama metaru (the signature metal spheres of Kumogakure’s magnet release) that have been customized by Tsuki, inscribed with various seals. Both collectively and individually, Tsuki has named these spheres Mugen Ittama. Users Class: Sealing Master The Range of the weapon: The range of Tsuki’s magnetic control. Weakness: Whatever is strong against metal balls controlled by magnetism. Description: A large number of metal balls, each with a radius of approximately 2 in. and inscribed with multiple seals. Tsuki has found a way to increase the inscribing space on the balls by creating spheres with multiple layers, as many layers as she could to maximize seal space, and in the process has also found a much more reliable way of writing seals on metal besides engraving. Rather than carving her seals into the metal and thus running the risk of a scratch ruining the seal, Tsuki traces her seals into the metal with chakra, creating chakra-based seals that cannot be destroyed unless the sphere they are inscribed onto is also completely destroyed. This method of chakra inscription causes the seal to constantly emanate decent amounts of Tsuki’s chakra, enough for chakra sensors to confuse them for her and to also allow the spheres to be counted as Tsuki’s body for anything that has restrictions based on her body. Additionally, being filled with her own chakra, they’re much easier for Tsuki to manipulate with her magnetic subelement than normal Metaru Tama. Executing high-precision movements with multiple Mugen Ittama is like second nature to Tsuki. All spheres have a Higashinishi Minamikita seal, Explosion Creation seal, Seki seal, and Kyakko seal in addition to one other seal. If Tsuki knows a seal, then it’s definitely inscribed on multiple spheres in her possession. Spheres inscribed with weapon storage seals can release weapons and also store them if the weapons have been released. These storage seals can release generic ninja tools—10 shuriken, 10 senbon, 10 makibishi, 5 kunai, 3 katanas, or 3 fuuma shuriken—for 10 chakra points at speeds and accuracies up to Tsuki’s personal skill with projectiles. The spheres are organized by the one seal that differentiates them and are stored in yet more seals, these seals being storage seals inscribed either into Tsuki’s own skin as several of many finely detailed Uzumaki sealing tattoos or onto various scrolls Tsuki carries on her body. In her cowardly opinion, no one can ever be too prepared. Summoning each sphere one at a time takes 3 chakra. However, each sphere she summons in one post reduces the cost of the next sphere by one chakra, going down to 1 chakra at lowest. Summoned spheres can appear anywhere within one meter of the summoning scroll’s location. Upon summoning, spheres can either be shot in any direction the user pleases once they’ve been summoned, basing their speed, max distance, power, and accuracy off of the sealer’s own skill with projectiles or simply allowed to remain stationary. Through various fancy chakra tricks done upon their creation, the spheres can passively float in place at any height up to eight feet off the ground. This is mainly a cosmetic effect, one that Tsuki only keeps because it costs no chakra to have it, as the levitation doesn’t make the spheres any easier to move. They can be moved vertically without any effort, but not at any speeds that are useful. Tsuki often carries up to two of these balls on her person, usually in her projectile pouch, and has either remarkably good intuition or luck when it comes to picking out which two she wants to carry. Tsuki is allowed to start each fight with up to two Mugen Ittama of her choice that she does not need to summon.
Name of weapon:Shodo (Calligraphy) Who owns the weapon: Tsuki Mizutou Where it was found/Who made it: A graduation gift for Tsuki from her “siblings,” fellow orphans from Mizu no Kuni that she’d learned and lived besides. It was made by them together, each person contributing something, whether it was out of their own personal skills or paying for the handiwork of a stranger. Users Class: Sealing Master The Range of the weapon: The gloves can affect water that is controlled by Tsuki, within Tsuki’s range of vision, or within 40 ft. of Tsuki. The only exception is water that is currently being used in someone else’s jutsu unless the other suiton user allows her to. The gloves must be in contact with the water to affect it. Weakness: Physically, the gloves are just like normal, leather gloves. While a small scuff won’t keep them from working, even the slightest tear, so long as its visible with the naked eye, will render the gloves unusable. Description: Shodo is a pair of fingerless leather gloves dyed white. The gloves are a tad bit too big for Tsuki’s hands because they were created with the correct assumption that she still had quite a bit more to grow. However, two straps help keep the gloves from slipping off Tsuki’s hand. One strap is at the back of Tsuki’s wrists to fit the gloves to her wrist. The other strap is in the middle of the back of her hand to fit the gloves to her palm. The strap in the middle of the hand lies over a thin strip of steel, about the width of two fingers, that can serve as a minor defense. While a fine example of leatherwork, courtesy of the tanner that made the glove, the true value of the gloves don’t lie solely in their physical craftsmanship. The gloves were worked on by several people besides a tanner. The combined medley of talents made a rather intricate ability possible for a rather small object. If Tsuki channels her chakra into water through the gloves, the gloves can concentrate and refine the chakra into something capable of spreading through water to create seals. There are restriction on how far Tsuki’s chakra can create seals, but within those restrictions, Tsuki is capable of creating seals and then activating them instantaneously. She is even capable of sending those seals to travel through any organic or artificial material they come into contact with and activating them while they travel through the other material. Due to the fluid nature of water, the seal must be activated the moment it is created and only up to five seals may be created each post. A recent upgrade to match her acquisition of a new element now allows Tsuki to channel her chakra into dirt, stone, sand, lava, or any other form of earth to create and activate seals instantaneously within the range limitations. Like with water, she can also send the seals through any organic or artificial material they come into contact with and activating them while they travel through the other material. Thanks to earths stable nature, the seals can last for an entire day before dispersing, their pure chakra construct limiting them from remaining forever. However, the rigidness of earth retains the five seal per post limit.
Name of weapon:Nezumi no Gaito (Mouse's Cloak) Your Rank: Sannin Who owns the weapon: Tsuki Mizutou Where it was found/Who made it: Self-made Users Class: Sealing Master The Range of the weapon: Self Weakness: Cannot use chakra while the cloak is activated. Trying to deactivate the cloak while in hiding gives away the wearer's position. Description: This light gray cloak with a white underside allows the wearer to seal his/her own chakra. Beneficially, this hides the wearer's chakra, and any other chakra dwelling within the body, from sensors of all ranks and powers. In exchange, the user cannot use his/her own chakra while the chakra is suppressed. Hiding and reveaing chakra can both be accomplished instantly, but revealing chakra is always accompanied by a short but uninformative chakra burst that can be sensed by even the most densest fool. As part of its suppression method, while Nezumi no Gaito is being used to hide chakra, it collects chakra much like the Uzumaki's Ghost Shadow technique, storing one point of chakra per post up to 40 chakra points. The wearer is free to access this chakra so long as his/her chakra is not being hidden by the cloak. In regards to the cloak's durability. Nezumi no Gaito is made from durable but ultimately normal cloth. However, numerous seals have been embroidered into it with light gray thread, giving it a number of defenses that can be activated by a competent sealer by paying the appropriate chakra cost.
