Pelagious scrambled around the house, putting various things inside the largebpink suitcase he had packed. A few more things in a smaller suitcase next to his. This one wooden and covered in tribal symbals.

"Okay. Clothes. Nets. Firestarters. A sequined boa. What else, Pū?" Pelagious asked, staring around his humble home.

Pū gave a grimace. Why on earth was sje going with buffon? Who the hell carried a sequined boa on a safari? At least back home they killed his kind. Incompetent hunters. She went to her small room and grabbed a stash of knofes. Everyone knew a great hunter was prepared.

Carressing the shiney silver objects, she sighed. It had been so long since she had killed anything worth killing. That stupid blue pae always managed to evade her. She could throw one at him now and it would miss. Just to test this theory, she snuck up behind Pelagious and aimed.

Oblivious to thw grump currently aiming at the back of his head, pelagious pondered what else to being. And pondered.

"Oh look! My safari hat!!"

Pelagious bent over and reached under the couch just in time to hear something THUNK into the wall above him. Popping back up, he grinned at the knife.

"You're absolutely right Pū! Weapons. We muat always defend ourselves in dire times!!"

He pulled the knife from the wall and shoved it into suitcase.

Pu beat her head against the wall. EVERY. TIME. It was like he had the Gods looking out for him. It was so frustrating to try to kill something that wouldn't just give in and die. Why was this blue pae not normal?!

Growling to herself, she finished packed and waited by the door. Since the God's only knew that if she tried to resist, evil would fall on her. It had last Vday. She shuddered at THAT memory.

Pel giggled like a school boy as he locked up. "Today Pu, we are on a special hunt. Today, we go into the wild and we are gona retirve....FEATHERS!!!" he tittered. "Surely we can find some close by but if all else fails, we can go in the jungle!" Pelagious ignored as Pu starting beating her masked face against the wall of the house. Again.

"Save that enthusiasm for later, Pu. We'll need it!"

P ū swore at the blue devil as he lead them down the beach and towards the grasslands. Her feet hurt, her mask was sweaty, and he still wasn't dead. What was a pae to do?

Pelagious stopped at a small clearing and let out a loud chuckle.

"Look!!! It's a nest! Perhaps we should try to get some feathers there?" He asked. "I'm rather amazed we found one so quickly...."

He pointed at a large tree with an even larger nest.

Pū grunned maliciously when her eyes rested upon said nest. That looked like a Thunderbird Nest. Which meant whatever was in it would probably kill him.

Oh this was delightful!!

She pushed the blue devil toward the nest. "@*$£₩@ °♡¤♤•>^♢¿ $&! £% % <>^☆!!" Yes. Please go get killed. So she would finally be free.

Pelagious grinned at Pūs enthusiasm. "Well. I haven't seen you this excited since you showed up. I do believe i'll retrieve a couple feathers for you!!"

He sauntered off with a look heartfelt pride.

Pū waited. And waited. And waited. And still no blue devil. She watched for signs of....something... from the tree but only say the buffoon go in and then nothing. Perhaps he was eaten? This was spendid. Just splendid!! He was finally gone! She was FREE. She whooped for joy and began dancing in the grass when she finally heard it.

"RUUUUUUUUUN!!!" He screamed, trying to wrestle his way out of the nest and back on the ground. It woulda been easier if he hadn't had a hungry chick to contend with. Which was ironic when you thought of it. He couldnt get the love of his life but he seemed to get the attention of everyone and everything else.

Squealing when the feathered menace grabbed a hold of his tooshy, he gave a final kick and tumbled himself right out the nest. And down about 30 feet to the ground.

Pū watched as the blue buffoon tried to fly. Even tho he had wings, he seemed to stupid to use them as he fell like an angel of disgrace toward the grass at the bottom of the tree.

Sighing loudly, she realized that she would have to fetch him. She doubted the giant bird whose nest he had violated would notice him on the ground and she really doubted he would smell pleasant as he rotted. And no baby deserved to smell that.

With a growl, she set down her pack and grabbed a knife before heading to the blue devil's mercy.

Pelagious limped along, using a branch as a crutch. The fall from the tree hadn't done him any true harm but he feared his ankle was sprained. Thing hurt like the dickens! He glanced over at Pū, who walked in angry shuffle behind him. She hadn't seemed happy since he fell out of the nest. Maybe it was cause he didn't manage to snag any feathers. Tho he feared she was slightly unbalanced. He had wound up, tangled in vine and tree matter, but she had seemed awful gleeful to swipe at him with that knife of hers.

Maybe he should take it. It didn't seem right trying to cut people who were in distress. Especially people who had done nothing but take care of you.

He turned back around and faced ahead while he slowly contemplated his next move.

Oh no. The blue devil was plotting. It was the only time he frowned like that. In fact, last time he had frowned like that, she wound up with a sore heart and tooshy at some reserve back at her old island. She hadnt even been able to escape him as he hauled her onto the big boat and took her to his home again.

This wouldn't do. Nope. She had to protrct herself. She stared at his hurt leg and began to if she could attract the giant bird whose nest he violated. That might work....

Pelagious had come to the conclusion that his friend may be slightly insane. Or at least had some sort of mood disorder that cause her act mildly irrational. Or was just a dark, unwell pae. He was still unsure what exactly caused his lil buddy to be so unhinged.

Through a perilous journey through woods, he noticed she took a particular delight in his distress. He had been accosted by savage snakes attempting to wrestle his toes off (nothing like those rumored giants he had heard so much about), ran into a nest of hornets, (thank god there was a pond near by in which he could nearly drowned himself), and nearly fell off a cliff(yes. A cliff.). Though that last instance was the only one in which he could almost positively assume that Pū had pushed him. He narrowly escaped death since the cliff was just a few feet up from another cliff, riding the shorelines, but still! His friend, he was beginning to think, had issues.

But you couldn't exactly fault a pae for that.... Goddess knew he had his own issues.

THE MANCHILD WOULD NOT DIE!!!! There was no language in the world that could describe her rage at this girlified man child whacking at the shrubs in front of her with a tiny stick. A tiny stick that he had packed. Called a....what had that blubbering blue devil called it. Oh yes. A yarn needle.

All her efforts, from the nest of giant bees(horneeeeets is what he screamed as he ran) to the cliff (how was she sposed to know it had a ledge under it?) had all failed. The devil had stumbled into the snakes nest on his own. While it was disappointing that it wasn't the evil that was Angwi but it was mildly amusing to see him attempt to pry them off his toes while squealing.

She was about to give up. She was beginning to fear this idiot was immortal. What had she done in her life to acquire an immortal annoyance?

Pel trudged along. He starting to get tired of this "adventure". It seemed as tho they had walked all over the entire island. They'd been in the jungle. Crossed a bridge. Been in ANOTHER jungle. Now they were crossed an endless stream of fields. Just one after another. And some tall grass in between. While uneventful other than a few mishaps, it was also boring.

He trudged along. Slowly. The weight against his back growing heavier and heavier. Even the fresh breeze blowing and ruffling the fields couldn't make it better. He was about done for that day. Pointing out a small clearing the grass, he convinced his grumpy sidekick to take a small break.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Later that night.....
A loud crash from the area where that demon had stashed their stuff woke her up from her slumber. She opened her eyes. Wait....why did she feel weighed down?
Looking to her left, she gave a scream shoved the drooling blue demon off of her mask and body. The b*****d had been sleeping with her like was a stuffy!!! He didnt even wake as she crawled out from under him. He just rolled over and drew the covers up to him and resumed sucking his thumb.
Ugh. Disgusting. She should kill him. If he wasn't immortal. Maybe he wasn't immortal in his sleep. Shuffling quietly over to her sack, she rummaged for a knife when a sound stole thru the camp again. Something was thieving them. Eyes narrowed, she grabbed her knife and ran.
She may not be able to kill the blue devil but she could kill whatever has crossed into her camp and tried to steal her things. Knife up, she let out a yell as she ran toward the small shadow currently rutting thru their foodbag.
Trouble was starved. And tired. It was entertaining to watch her lil brother get into all kinds of problems, and almost as entertaining watching the kat try to kill him, she was most definitely not entertained by her brilliant idea of staying hidden. Sneaking around meant less sleep than the others. And Trouble liked her sleep. It also meant she spent a lot of time alone. She missed her sis. She'd never try to get ate by snakes. But...
Pel needed someone to watch out for him. The big buffoon was traipsing thru life without a care in the world and while his intentions were nice, his follow thru was stupid. She sighed as her hand closed around the jerky. "Yes!"she whispered.
She was about to back out of the bag when she heard it. That durn Kat's battle yell. That must have meant something was after them. Crap! She needed t-
Pū shook the small yellow critter as it let loose a fearsome squeal. Yes. This would sate the god's lust for blood.
She gave a mighty cackle as the creature attempted to fight free.
This would restore her honer amongst the gods and goddess. Finally she w-
Pel held the trouble fae child up by her other ankle and looked at her. Well, he tried to. Unfortunately for him, his deranged roomie was trying to pry her from his fingers and yelling in her own language.
"No! Bad murderous kitty. This is a friend. Not food! For the love of....Put the knofe away before you hurt someone!" He plucked the knife from the cat and tossed it aside. Which in turn, cause the kat to chase after it. Which in turn let him focus on the problem at hand.
Lifting the lil yellow stick of dynamite, he poked her tummy and scowled. " Why didnt you stay at the house? Like I told you too! I told you Pū would need time to adjust." He really had been hoping to find a new place to stay away from the yellow child but eh. Potato, potatoe.
Trouble glared at her new sibling from her upside down position. "I didnt like being alone in so much fabric. You know you're not supposed to leave a small child alone anyways, right?"
That was enough. Trouble bent and pulled herself up to his hand and bit his wrist. Almost instantly, he dropped her with a whiney squeal. Well, he threw her, but eh. It worked. Even if she did land a little close to the fire.
Sitting up, she dusted the dirt off her shoulders and hair and turned back to Pel. "So. Where we going? Didnt take ya to be a field a robber. Oooooo. Hear that? I bet...hey. that was an alpaca! My sis lives with alpacas! I wanna go!! I wanna go!!"
Pel massaged his temples. "No. It is the middle of the night. We can't just go looking for alpacas in the middle of the night. What if....what if something tries to eat me? I mean, us?"
One hour later~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pelagious was following the tiny mistress of darkness as they traipsed thru grass and rocks and field. The only comfort was that the sun was rising. And maybe, just maybe, Troubles sister owned a way to make coffee. And some jam. Cause he was gonna need it.
Turning back to make sure Pū wasn't lagging behind, he smiled. His poor little Pū.... She seemed even grumpier in the daylight hours...
