Occupation: Often assumed to be some manner of prostitute though such side activities and rumors are the result of her rather amoral person and her rather distasteful line of work despite the fact that most of her clients are hardly in any shape to participate in such activities depending on where she is working. In short she is an entrepreneur of sorts.. a mix of courtesan and magical apprentice, or rather she is a professional apprentice or assistant for those mages who enjoy an attractive partner or assistant or wish to improve the aesthetic of their own artwork superficially. While their is no actual term for her occupation the closest would likely be "informal student courtesan mage of an apprentice-level occupational rank who's brand is centered around aesthetics rather than pure technique" or "wenchy looking magic student for hire"
Personality: A youthful person, she's a lot like a college age girl. While often confused with a streetwalker she's actually just not ashamed of easy money and happens to find herself constantly entertaining herself with a different man every now and then. Her long life and lack of maturity cause her to seek material things and entertainment very often even at inappropriate or strange costs at times. Likes to be seen as someone with style if not beautiful and likes for all things to be made beautiful if they can be.
Biography: Long ago a great wizard came into some power and celebrated with a woman. These two had an unwanted child and the man found the child burdensome just like the woman he didn't actually plan to stay with, but the woman promised to be useful as would the child. In time the child grew and would represent her fathers business and help with his affairs. A doll who existed to further her father's ambitions by whatever means he chose. Delighted with how effective a daughter was socially the father became fond of his daughter and trained her in magics designed to entice and manipulate others. This however was merely the foundation of her fathers own area of expertise involving the seeking and alteration of information and perception over wide area's, quite useful for politicians and such.
Her parent's hardly got along, father didn't care much for her mother but they tolerated each other. However her father was quite taken with the young beauty he'd created and his lessons began to digress into more experimental territory, something someone her age could master more quickly. Someday he began to give into his darker temptations and knowing his daughter well began to shower her with gifts hoping to enter an unusual relationship with her. Daughter or not, she was a young girl and the daughter of a lowly woman. The two played with the idea at first but it inevitably devolved into a simple exchange of making some old man feel young again for continued magic lessons after he'd completed his perceived obligations to the life he'd created. She would later enter similar relationships with those who worked closely with her father when she gained the chance and would in time simply come to be known as a sell out of sorts interested in an informal education with few responsibilities. This was acceptable in the times but times changed and she eventually hit stumbling blocks in her education. More talented teachers would be needed but she wasn't good enough with money nor reputable enough to enter any formal school at this point. And so she created a livelihood for herself and stuck with it.
Dark wizards across the lands were quite taken with their work but not all enjoyed looking like old hags and decrepit misers or bags of bones. They were in love with the dark aesthetic that represented them but wanted to seem like something more.. without spending an arm and a leg. And so many hired a young advisor and assistant to help with this. She'd be taken to parties and castles and made to work on brands and whatnot. She did much of her work through the Declasian connections she'd made over the years. She hoped her outstanding work would do more than just get her another client after another but her as well as her parents' lewd reputations held her back some despite getting her into some very interesting places she hadn't intended to go.
Life's journey had sent her down a strange path but one that made sponsorship possible, she sought to make her craft better known or connect with the right person.. either was a fine solution.
Preferred Magic & Weapons If Any:
Illusion and transformative magic. As well as mystical magic for information gathering and some aptitude for the associated things that allow one to manipulate or steal objects. Skilled with high class magical tools of all sorts but not really one for crudely made artifacts.
Her illusion magic includes some skills for influencing others in subtle ways as well as helping others to do the same. It can range from attempts to create infatuation to fear. She could for example help give a young commander a more respectable air about himself both with magic and nonmagical technique.
rather well educated for someone whos never attended a formal school she's got a grasp for many fields of both work and magic. Particularly those involving the behind the scenes of political groups. She can use small applications of many types of magic despite specializing in a particular one. However most of her physical prowess involves noncombat activity and the sneaking around one must do when said activity's wife arrives back home. Skilled somewhat in stealth, diplomacy, and theft
As per her occupation she is skilled in supportive magical application as well. She can also help you with your own spells sortof.
