User ImageHymnaious wasn’t really sure how all of this worked. He knew his brother had shown up to the tree a good number of times, and he got the general understanding of how it worked, but it didn’t make it any less awkward. He’d love to just know where it was she resided so he could meet with her alone, not alert the whole tree to his presence. Worse yet, would this look bad on the young Fauny? If they got the wrong brother in their minds it could seem she was going out for more than an afternoon stroll…

Though all of these things had passed his mind, another thing remained. Was she ok? He’d made sure to get her home safely, but it didn’t erase the nibbling in the back of his mind that he needed to check on her. It would be the gentlemanly thing to do, right? And she’d been such a lady, so different than any Pae that had visited their event, that he couldn’t just let her disappear without at least checking on her.

But would she want to see him? He’d conducted himself in the most gentleman like manner he could muster… What with other things going on. He still was dizzy on the events, but in the end it wouldn’t be right of him. So here he was, standing a ways away from the tree, awaiting her arrival. He’d informed someone and now just had to wait and see if she’d be accepting of his call. A part of him hoped she’d be willing to speak with him. It would calm his worries as well as let him know that everything was ok.

He fiddled with a single flower in his hands. It had been a last minuet decision that he wasn’t sure would come off inappropriate. He knew most of the time it was given as a gesture from one lover to another, but could he pull it off as simply and apology for checking up on her so late? After the party life was always insane trying to catch up from being gone, but he didn’t feel like it was an excuse enough so he’d hoped for an apology gift. Hopefully it would come off that way.

It was beautiful though, from Venus’ garden itself (something he might have to pay for later on). It resembled that of a tiger lily, but the lighter colors were a sparkling gold and it wouldn’t wilt as easily as the flowers found on the isle. She’d be able to keep it with her for a good long while and it wold continue to stay bloomed and sparkling. When he’d twist it in his fingers it would shimmer almost as if made of glass, but it certainly wasn’t delicate. It only seemed so. The irony of this flower to the fauny he was about to meet made him smile slightly.

He turned his eyes back up towards the tree hoping he’d see her by now. He didn’t have anything extravagant planned. Just hopefully a walk where they could clear their minds and talk. He could apologies for not coming sooner and just assure himself she was ok after everything. Then if she so wished it he could leave her life forever. He found that thought sad, what with how interesting she’d been to him, but it was easy enough. They had no strings attached other than one night on a frightening trip together. Though despite all of that, a sweet one it had been.
