Species name: Furfante {Fur - Fan - Tey}
Language: The Furfante Race common dialect is Cattiverian, which is almost attributed to human dialect, but much more sophisticated{Has an Italian feel to it.} When they speak it, or any language for that matter, there's a slight feint echo to their words as well as a seductive tone to it.
Government: The government of the Furfante Race is that of a Dictatorship, though the people are well taken care of, as long as they follow the rules. They believe that ambition is key and openly welcome anyone brave or stupid enough to try a coup. The Dictator ensures the safety of his/her people and filters any outside influence for allowing them safe passage on to the planet, as anyone trying to enter without permission are shot down before they know it.
Culture: As an advance technological race, as well as having a hand in almost every black market in the galaxy they pride themselves on having the best tech possible for both their people and profit. Among the Furfante, status and appearance are set above all things. Furfante culture is renowned for its infighting, with every family engaging on some level in what’s known as the Dark Dance. The Dark Dance or "Dance of Deceit" is the term applied to the politics and machinations of the upper class and politicians of the race. Politics on Cattiveria is an incredibly complicated "game" or "dance" of intrigue, seduction, ambition and scandal with a dash of murder & intimidation, an approach to politics, their culture and morality that is quintessentially important to them. The political and familial infighting that characterizes the "Dance" is as common as breathing for them: The entire culture of the Furfante is built heavily on use of murder, deceit, & strategy, a game they play well and have yet to loose against other species. Because they nothing against stabbing each other in the back they often are employed as assassins, middlemen, fencers, thieves, blackmailers, spies, ect. They live up to the meaning of their race as Furfante translates into "Villain". They gladly dirty their hands for those who are not willing to or cant. They find extreme joy & pleasure in doing so and see every chance as a performance.
Planet: Cattiveria is the homeworld of the Furfante. This red giant of a planet has a harsh appearance at first, but once one breaks through the intimidating atmosphere, they are surprised by what they see. Lush forests, clean water abound as 45% of the planet is covered by desert or mountains. The only thing most outworlder will complain about is that its summer all the time on Cattiveria.
Mating/marriage customs: To each their own as they dont really care who you sleep with let alone marry. Though they do frown on underage relationships and tend to cruelly punish if not execute anyone caught doing so.
Technology: They are well advanced, obtaining any tech or method deemed necessary by their Dictator.
Appearance: They share many similarities to humans in terms of their internal workings. The key difference which isnt all that hard to spot, are their horns and fluorescent red eyes. Their skin can very in tone but range from reds, bronzes, pale, and orange hues. All Cattiverian born Furfante have horns of some nature and tails. Those born off world have a more human skin tone instead of the Furfante hues. Off world Furfante dont have the lust for deception like their natural born kinsmen. The only thing natural born Furfante & off world Furfante have in common are their eyes, as there 's always a fluorescent red hue to them.
Views on other species: Has no real issue with other species. Cant be picky when money is to be made.
