Happy Spring, Everyone! Based on your votes, Yuki-no-Okoku's Annual Hanami is Nevermore: A Tale of Knights' Spring Event
Everyone's Welcome! Yuki no Okoku is well-known to be the kingdom nestled among the snow-covered peaks of the Snowy Mountains. After recently setting up communications with the other kingdoms on the continent, they're more than happy to open their doors to newcomers and prospective citizens! What better way to showcase the wonders of this land than to invite every member of every kingdom to enjoy Yuki no Okoku at its most mystifying? During the first few months of Spring, there is a magic-imbued grove on the outskirts of Yamasato that seems to be unaffected by the harsh environment of this cold land. The blossoms resting on the reliable branches of these trees open up to greet the unnatural heat presented to them. The citizens of the kingdom long ago deemed this place as sacred ground, only to be entered by those with good will to the state of the community park. Pink flowers blooming on the trees is definitely a sight to see within itself, but don't forget to participate in the festival fun around the area! There are games, a lottery, contests, and more! It goes without mentioning that the beautiful blooms are also a great place for love. The main attraction, however, will be the blooming of the massive tree in the center of the grove, a rather large tree for the Snowy Mountains, the flowers that sprout forth from her are enveloped in a brilliant light. All present are said to have good luck for the rest of the year!

Fyrnessa arrives at the gates attempting to seduce her way into the gate. The guard clears his throat and shows that she's already gotten an invitation through her guild benefits or something.. "Well then lets just pretend anyways." clearing his throat again he'd mention he was married which just got her more excited. "Even better! Is she here?" her hypnotic gaze... was hypnotizing. Actually a bit too hypnotic for a trained gate guard not to notice. He looked around with his nope-not-today face on and signaled a gatekeeping senior. An old lady with a demon warding stick happened to be coming in and stopped by to ward Fyrnessa off chuckling at the cute young demon girl saying "shoo shoo git succubus!" If the girl was on the list she couldn't be too out of control like a zombie or anything. At worst she'd probably just wear a few guests out, nothing to be concerned about as long as they didn't get hurt.
Whining Fyrnessa made her way inside still hungry for people's energy and pouting her lip as the mean old woman warded her off. What a mood to be in at a nice event like this. She looked for something mentally stimulating beyond all reason to take the edge off like an insane roller coaster or something till she found some sucker to let her drain them.
Niraya smiles as she sees the event area. "YAY! every year this place is just amazingly fun to be at!" As she approached the guards were on edge seeing who it was. "HALT!" Niraya stops in front of the guards. "Nyah~ what did i do this time?" The guard gives her a serious look. "Niraya 'Railgun' Huntsmith you are to leave all metal objects at the gate. You are forbidden from carrying anything metal. should you earn a reward that contains metal it will be shipped to you once the event is over."
Niraya gives a very sad look as her ears fall flat onto her head. "why~~" The guard starts shouting. "You took out half the stalls when you used your railgun ability to pop some balloons! Your lucky your even allowed in here at all!" Niraya quietly hands over her metal stuff and heads into the event clearly not happy about what just transpired.
gaia_nitemareleft Ariel's eyes widen a bit at the sight before her. splashes of pink littered the trees. the sweet smell of the blossoms was soothing. it reminded her of the festivals they use to have back in her old clan. but of course, she couldn't show such a soft side to the public. that would be embarrassing. she glanced up at her brother that stood a mere foot to her left. she really wanted to go but couldn't bring herself to ask. it was more like she couldn't ask without sounding like a pitiful little girl. so instead she kept quiet and gazed onward to the festivities.
Tenchi glanced down at his sister. she was a fool if she thought he didnt pick up on have antsy she was getting. she acts so tough on the out side but deep down, she hasn't changed since childhood. -Do you wish to partake in the festivities?- he calmly asked, fully aware of the snappy reply he was going to recieve as she looked back at him with a smirk -HA! ME?!?! go to that?!!?! do you think of me as some mortal who enjoys the... blossoms.. the food.. the music... - he voice trails off as she gets lost in a day dreamy thought. Tenchi chuckles at his sister -no sis. i think of you as my sister. given that this kingdom has such a large amount of inhuman beings, I'm sure we could find some sort of food that didn't involve innocent people getting hurt. he stated as he started to walk to the gate. her heart almost bat out of her chest from the excitement but quickly hid the emotions form onlookers. -okay fine but ill have you know this is your choice, im just following you- -yes yes, of course sister. gaia_nitemareright

Fyrnessa happened upon some manner of beauty contest... not what she was hoping for but she supposed she might be able to win something like this as well taken care of as she was. Curiously she strode on over perusing the sight innocently.. as a tiger stalking its prey!!! Sure she could probably take the prize pretty easy but there were so many gorgeous snacks sitting right next to the nicely placed rules of conduct. Obviously excessive abuses of ones powers were forbidden but the buffet line here was... just yum. But even then there was the dessert section. The men who were here with their girlfriends, delicious taken men and servile puppy dogs to divas here and there among them and on the staff...
She wanted to devour them all
...BUT she just smiled and kept herself completely under control doing nothing that might disqualify her and attempted to sign up for the contest. All the starved succubus had to do was walk up to the judges... and sign in... without any problems... and surely the tall blonde would be on her way to a most simple victory in a most simplistic contest.

She couldn't stop smelling the air, inhaling the mixed air of fresh festival food. her eyes caught the board of events. feeling confident in herself, the beauty contest caught her eye. tenchi stood behind her, his hands in his pockets watching her focused on the beauty contest. -it looks like you'd have to sign up before hand if you'd like to participate- he stated. he slouched his shoulders a bit, feeling relaxed. she turned around on her heels, glaring daggers at him - and what would possess you to assume id want to partake in such events- she replies as she eagerly attempts to defend her self. tenchi shrugs and proceeds to walk in the direction of the sign up area. knowing her defeat, she makes her way to the sign-up table without saying a word to her brother. sometimes, she hated how well he knew her.
as she wrote down her info, being the watchful person he is, his eyes periodically scanned the crowd. there was a blond that struck him as odd. it seemed to him she just finished signing up for the contest as well. of course, it was just an assumption but one he would keep tabs on. it was rare for Ariel to play nice with others. there was no reason why she would start now and that part was what worried him. gaia_nitemareright

Blake's green eyes had instantly lit up at the sight of the park, and it was such a sight that she'd barely been paying attention when the guards had asked for her bow. Of course, she'd given the thing over without any issue. Yuki in itself had its own beauty, one she only had the chance to see from the outside until now. The snow-covered mountains were probably her favorite natural sight to see. Well, they had for a while. Recent circumstances caused them to produce a sour taste in her mouth. Upon hearing about the flower-viewing, however, she was quick to make a move. Never actually visiting the kingdom in which it was held, coming now meant killing two new experience birds with one arrow. How nice it was to get out like this! This would serve as a nice little vacation. She was even able to ditch Natalia back in Carmillion and leave the dragon woman with her parents. Although, the three of them would probably have wanted to see this. With a light smile, she found herself sitting on one of the many stone benches within the park. The half elf tilted her head back to look up at the flowering branches above her before her expression evolved into one of warmth. I wonder what exactly causes this grove to be immune from all the cold around it and only during a particular time of year. It could be enchanted land, which I could only assume is the most likely answer. Lucky me to find out about this place in time!There was also the question of the large tree that towered over the rest of them, the one that had yet to bloom. The sky above was about as blue as could be, and the warm/cool contrast between the petals and it had its own worth of beauty. A light sigh escaped her, however, as she lowered her gaze back down to ahead of her.
The amount of people here was not surprising; what blew Blake away was the ones who were obviously from other kingdoms like Carmillion and Eldrin. She puffed out her cheeks in mild frustration. This was the sort of thing couples came to; there were already plenty here!But we aren't! Are we? Nngh, I don't know anymore. Maybe if you spoke your mind rather than beat around the bush all the time, there wouldn't be a question of what-ifs, Blake.The fact that so many people were gushing over each other while gushing over the flowers riled something up within her, though she wasn't quite sure what. After sticking out her tongue, the blonde stood from the bench on which she'd just been sitting and stretched.Either way, I'm not about to let something like that ruin this open park! He knows that I wanted to come here, so if he shows up too, great! If not, I can have fun by myself. Yeah. Blake very matter-of-factly placed her hands on her hips with a deep inhale. Even the scent of this entire place was intoxicating! Carmillion was definitely a pretty kingdom, but there wasn't anything there like this! Apple blossoms were pretty and all, but nothing could beat the sight of all this pink! A sigh of relief escaped the woman. "Alright, that's enough sitting around. Let's really check this place out! Who knows? Maybe I could make a new penpal in Yuki no Okoku! Heheh, wouldn't that be cool?"

Ah... it was the one time of the year when Yuki no Okoku was worth visiting. Most of the time it would be cold, snowy and shivery, but in Spring the city comes to life all thanks to a blessed sacred grove. It was only expected that Maverly comes here every year to represent the Asche Family, and she had to admit, she enjoyed the blossoming pink flowers and the... people of status that they attract. Maverly kept her shoulders pulled back and her chin level with her hands behind her back as she approached the guard at the outside of the grove. She could feel the warm air brushing over her cheek, it made her take in a breath, probably audible enough to garner the mans attention. "Maverly Asche" she said to him properly and softly, "of the Asche Plantation Company in Carmillion, my name should be on the list?" she queried with a polite smile. He gave the list a small check, noticing her name towards the top, "welcome miss Asche" he stated, to which Maverly nodded her head, "thank you." Luckily she had no weapons on her person, well, nothing that was sharp or could inflict injury besides a slap on the wrist. Her riding crop would just about only cause a red cheek.
From the moment she stepped into the grove it was like a different world, people everywhere, but not too busy, the open space here allowed for everyone to have their own personal space. Which was important for Maverly, she couldn't stand being too clase to anyone. There seemed to be a few events going on in different corners of this place too, including a beauty pageant. Maverly wrinkled her nose upon seeing the signs for it, "hm, how subjective" she muttered to herself. Now... how exactly do these plants survive out here like this, and how do they get so much attention? If only I could find the source then I, the esteemed eldest child of Calder Asche, would be able to steer the company's approval ratings through the roof! Maverly schemed to herself in thought, picturing the pink flowers spread across the Asche plantations orchards. Oh, she could dream.
Maverly saw all kinds of people here, even... was there a succubus? Those horns could not be practical, and not very lady-like either. But who was she to judge. Oh, and that girl has the fluffiest tail she has ever seen. Maverly Asche, you are here to represent the company... and indulge a little. she reminded herself to keep composed, so she began to stroll through the grove taking in the beauty and warm air.
For now Maverly waited for anything to come here way, she hoped to meet new people.

Niraya was just walking around. She wasn't doing anything in particular as she was scouting the place out. Her tail swishing side to side as she walked around. Every now and then something would catch her eye and she would stop and look at for a bit before continuing on. She always scouted this event first as it was a very popular event.
