Origins.

Aghor is not the original History of the Shifter Kingdom. It first began in Meadow Heights. Meadow Heights was an established kingdom brought together after the shifters finally organized to become one. While some consider us to be were, the actual term we like to used is Shifter. Shifters are beings that posses the ability to use Transformation magic. Either way, it is believed that this magic was produced into the world by the hands of the Fey in which blessed the animals with this power. These animals adapted, gaining new abilities that made them stronger, faster, more durable, more knowledgeable. With this, these blessed animals were able to produce thoughts and adaptability. Soon, these animals would leave, feeling as if their natural homes were not able to contain them. They would set up small colonies, little towns of natives, meeting others just like them along the way. This would continue along with the spreading of news that there were more animals like themselves out there. Eventually over time, a kingdom would be established. They would develop a native language of their own called "Avestan" which some believe is an offshoot of the Arabic language. This kingdom would soon come forth and the Grace Dynasty would come into power after an election. For centuries, this Dynasty would rule. This would last until the faithful day of Azela Grace, the true Heir of the Kingdom was arranged to Marry Kane Martinez, an Apathetic warrior of the Martinez tribe, a nomadic warrior group that tended to stay in the Forests of Meadow Heights. They would be married, Azela feeling it was her sole duty and responsibility to her people..

That Wife Stealing b*****d Mage
The marriage was not the best. While Azela is a strong warrior, she is also a needing lover. With this, her and Kane had many different conversations about their issues and lack of romance in their marriage. However, this would come on death ears. Kane continued to ignore and felt it was out of strength and his true love for her, that he has to not grow attached to her. This issue would prove to be a weak point in the future that not only brings forth Meadow's destruction, but Aghor's beginning. Azela would meet her future King on a casual trip to Lady Luciel's house. There, she would meet Xavier Torres, a mage of Karst. The relationship wasn't love at first sight. In fact, their first interaction was her dragging Xavier away to keep from getting beaten up by the other Guests. However, it was a spark. From then on, Xavier would visit Azela constantly, distracting from her work, or just distracting her from life. His main goal at the time was to simply get that Shifter good good. Yet, he was always met with a no and was shot down. Still, she considered Xavier as a friend and a good comic relief. Soon this friendship would turn into something more as Xavier got closer and closer to the Queen, eventually sliding his way into her heart. This soon would be found out by Kane, causing him to not only, actually try be affectionate but to rule with an ironfist, demanding Azela stay away from the mage and a bounty was put on the mage's head. However, not all agreed with the King's rule. He started to become extremely viscous, creating opposition. With this new attitude, the Kingdom was internally split in half... Revolution was coming.

Assassination and Aghor's uprising

Sickened by her husband's actions, Azela revolted, taking charge and ruling the kingdom. This brought great strife as Kane and Azela had no ability to come to a conscious decision and rule as a couple. It was literally impossible. Kane was too cruel and Azela was unyielding in allowing Kane to rule like a monster. Public outcry increased. The Kane supporters started to impose martial law while those who supported Azela at first would just accept it, but then began to fight back. The kingdom was heading into chaos. The straw that broke the camel's back was the introduction of Kane's plan to attack Karst and eradicate the Mages. It was always Kane's idea to bring peace through dominance. Starting with the Mages of Karst was a bonus. Especially since a certain Mage lived there. Finding out about the plans, Azela would not allow for her Husband to commit such foolish actions. A plan was made, to overthrow Kane on invasion day. On that day, before Kane could mobilize his forces, Azela struck. With the assistance of Xavier, Kane was assassinated. While quick and swift, this brought the Kingdom into a civil war lasting for 2 years. Eventually, Azela and Xavier came to a decision. Meadow Heights was contaminated with Dark Energy. A Dark vibe that can never be relinquished. Nothing but fighting will result. So instead, they chose to burn it to the ground after one final battle. Then an exodus. Follows of Azela left and traveled with the two while the survivors of Kane stayed. They tried rebuilding. Not much is known about them. If they still exist or not. There have been a few reports of kids and adult followers being kidnapped and taken away. However, many feel that's just the old followers becoming nomadic again and looking for a new home. As for Azela and Xavier, they found a new place. Land unclaimed. With this, they called it Aghor.

Aghor Lives

Aghor would soon flourish, its population vastly increasing thanks to their primal obsession with...procreation. This land would soon develop into one of the power houses of the world. Aghor posses a city in the center guarded by not only shifters but surrounded and guarded by water. Those stuck in the ways of the old, that being tribal in nature and opposed to the more modernistic and technology world, they live on the outskirts of the city in the dangerous Forests lands. Some, while tolerant, are not keen to the idea of a non-Shifter in charge, making it some of the most dangerous places to come. Even for Xavier. Some tribes even kill on sight if a person is a nonshifter and dares impedes onto their land. Due to Xavier, there has been a constant increase in Mage's presence within the Kingdom. They usually tend to live within the city where the Throne is stationed.

POWERS


Transformation Magic: The natural Magic of all Shifters that is inherited at birth and develops as they age. Transformation magic is the ability to enhance, change, and or manipulate one's body. With this one can change things such as their muscle mass, size, physical appearance, or change the make up of their body in which they can rapidly create bones, turn their bones into metal, or turn their blood into poison. The possibilities are enless. They even can manipulate their body in such a form to affect the area around them such as creating a loud echo force, producing a strong shock wave, or letting out a mighty blow of wind equivalent to that of a hurricane. One can even turn their body into rubber like Luffy from One Piece. Though, I usually advise against this.

Passives: Abilities that come from the animal origin of the roleplayer. For example, a snake shifter would passively have thermal vision. An Owl shifter would have night vision. A werewolf Shifter would have enhanced smell, and speed increase. There is no limit number to passives, as long as they relate to the animal. If the passive is deemed either not-relatable or veer too much on the edge of an ability, you will be asked to place that as one of the abilities.

Shifter Mages: This occurs when a shifter acquires the ability to become in tune with magic in a way similar to that of a mage. This allows for immense power and an ability to learn different kinds of magic but at a price. This mutation, while bringing a nice benefit also brings a curse. While mages can change their appearance with magic which may seem similar to that of transformation magic on the surface, they aren't able to interface with their body to the point of literally changing the properties and atoms of the body. They can become a werewolf and look like one, but they would not be able to run, have the senses or the strength of the werewolf. To put simply, their change is only cosmetic. As for shifters, they can use magic but relates specifically to the body. When these two miss, their differences counteract each other causing limitations for both. The two magics are at a constant fight against each other for dominance. There's no true harmony among the two. This causes for a shifter mage to not have access to unnatural principles of a mage while at the same time limiting their own potential in regards to transformation magic, causing for a limitation on the amount of shifter abilities. This limitation is mainly because the imbalance of the two magics won't allow for such.


POWERS LIST


Evolve: Activation of this ability is shown through the Shifter's teeth having a gold shiny glow radiating of of it. Can only be done in the shifter's fullest transformation. So if a Cat shifter's fullest form is a neko, must be in neko form. For a werewolf shifter who fullest form is that of an actual wolf, must be in wolf form. This bite will cause the person who is bitten to turn into a shifter and take on the animal of that the attacker possesses. This means a wolf shifter bite would turn a person into a wolf shifter. This causes the victim to lose all their powers of the race they possess at the moment. If the victim is a mage, they still posses their mage power and can gain limited shifter powers. This reaction can be counteracted through magic, runes, or sheer strong will power. It is advised only to do this on willing participants or weak victims. However, while all shifters can do this, they rarely use this ability.

Bone Intrusion:The user ability to manipulate their bones in order to heal, regenerate broken bones and can generate razor-sharp spikes of bone from their body, acting as weapons, blades or claws. These bones can be used as a self defense maneuver covering the body with sharp bones or can be used as a ranged attack by causing the produced spikes to shoot out from their body with a simple flexing movement.

Cell growth/regeneration: The ability to recover and regenerate the body in order to heal oneself. This occurs through the body naturally absorbing the energy from the nature around them fueling the body and accelerating ones healing. This power is at its peak when a were is grasslands, jungles, and other heavily forest like areas. Careful though, the more one heals, the less effective the ability becomes to the point that it doesn't even heal immediately until a reset period occurs.

Dense Body: The user's body-tissue, skin, muscles, bones, etc. is extremely dense/solid, allowing them to withstand harmful strains on the body such as crushing weights, impacts, pressures, changes in temperature, etc. They gain enhanced levels of strength and stamina, this is possible because of how hard their body has become, allowing them to resist tearing a muscle and/or their bones shattering easily.

Fury Rage: The state of mind produced by unrelenting rage. When in this rage, everything becomes a target, be it friend or foe. The Rage causes increase in power (strength, stamina, agility, and body density) for a short period of time in which users normally ignore injury in order to rip apart their enemies. This rage can be broken by an outside calming force.

Shockwave: The user can generate shock-waves that can push targets over, repulsed them away, shatter them, even cause earthquakes by shaking the ground or dislodging underground tectonic plates, thus causing earthquakes if strong enough. This is done by either stomping or smacking the ground in were form. This can be done in humanoid form but only has 1/4th the effect. This ability can also send out a shockwave to act like a seismic sonar, allowing for enemy detection up to 300 feet.

Echo Force: A beast is only as mighty as its roar. This allows for the voice to become a weapon. The were can let out a loud howl, roar, etc. The user is able to shout so loud that the user can blow away objects or break objects with their ferocious vocal cords which can cause vibrations. They may also be able to emit a roar strong enough to damage hearing, cause fear, or paralyze. The force caused by the roar may even cancel out opposing attacks. It can also be used to alert someone of the user's location.

Acidic Mutation: The user’s body has undergone a grand mutation causing their normal anatomy to take on acidic qualities. The user can secrete a substance that has the properties of both poison and acid. It may come from their mouth, hands or pores all over the body and fur. This allows for acidic/ poison like claws. The user's blood is acidic and poisonous as well, and may be pressurized within their bodies so that it spurts out when the skin is pierced.

Body Regulation: The user has complete control over the body temperature of oneself and others, including increasing and decreasing it to harmful or lethal levels, increasing it to levels where touching the target is painful/damaging while keeping the target unaffected by the changes, concealing body temperature, making the target resistant or immune to temperatures, etc. Users of this power are completely unaffected by the temperature changes.

Camouflage:The user can visually blend into surroundings by blending in with the coloration and form of their background to avoid optical perception. This is done by the changing of ones skin and fur coat unto a more clear coloring, causing one to slip out of reality as if they were cloaked.
