"Anyway..." ...and there she went to refill her wine glass. "I'm surprised I didn't give you all that at the start, it's sort of customary. As long as you're not going to out anyone."

"I dunno Lucas." And she didn't, but she guessed he'd pissed Eve off enough she even remembered him in wine-state. "What'd 'e do?" Another refill. Preacher eyed the glass warily. "I ain't got plans to broadcast. I jus' want it for m'personal use."

Eve just sort of laughed and waved off the question. "Do you have your phone? I can text you what I have," she offered. "I'll even overlook the 'personal use' bit sounding suspicious."

"Yeah," she said, slowly pulling out her phone. Preacher rattled off the number and input a reminder into her calendar to change her phone number next month. She hated giving out her number. "Dunno why ya can't jus tell me."
