The "weakest" of all the races, humans are the most common while also being the least viewed other than werebeasts. While they have no inherent abilities like their mage counterparts, or even those of the vampire descendent, humans have flourished among the environment and have the grandest population of all the other races (not that, in the other's mindset, it means much).
While most other races fall into a patriarchal system, the humans have chosen to stick closer to their maker, and choose the route of a matriarchal state. They look down upon other races, like they have the right, for their ways and their different gods, and they are quite close minded when it comes to other religions. Humans, as a majority, have been the subject of many wars derived from religious beliefs, and thus have excused themselves quietly to live in fragile seclusion. This isolation comes in the form of an expansive city in the sky. The floating mass is deemed Idreiya, in the nation of Thaoria, the floating capital of the humans. It was made, laughingly enough, by an outcasted mage of Karst, his vast knowledge of magic helping the humans, and himself, with their retreat.
The present this mage bestowed upon the human kingdom was not that of exceptional magic, for the mortals had no skill in it, but an orb. The orb was an artifact from the city Karst, far in the college's archived sections. The mage did not come alone, however, and as he brandished this gift to the humans he also uncovered a small girl. A girl most noticeably with horns upon her head and long white hair. The humans had no real option, their capacity for care taking in the mage and his dragon, but also their gains of self interest whispered in the back of their head to take power wherever they could. It was they that suffered mostly when the wars came, and any form of power was taken with a smile and, in secret, desperation.
Thus did their capital begin its ascension into the heavens. This is where the humans worked in secret, making technology powered by the remnant of magic in their veins, and harnessing the powers of lightning and magic. Rune magic, to be more precise. They built large airships to take them to and fro their floating island and the land below, made lamps and machines and hollow armor of iron and magic. Through this they became a dominating force once more, being unafraid of venturing outside of their kingdom. They could not hold against the mages magic, but with suits and the technological guns they created, it was a chance. It is not to say the humans sought out wars with the other factions, on the contrary, they simply wished to explore the world as they once did without fear of betrayal and death. It took them countless years, but they finally began exploring again.
Amongst this time, the humans realized slowly that while the orb allowed them to float in the sky, it was the dragon that controlled it when the mage passed on. While it does not affect them, they do notice that their island moves every now and again, in a foreseeable fashion but still a bothersome occurrence. The Dragon and the Bird is a tale told by mothers to their children, of the small girl that protects the orb and another entity continuously playing with her. This bird is a slight annoyance to the dragon, and in an attempt to make it leave her alone, the dragon will try to capture it. This causes the orb the dragon sleeps on to move, thus moving the island in the sky. It is a wholesome tale, but one based in fact. This is truly the cause of Idreyia moving, and while the dragon is powerful, she simply cannot catch a bird for all of her might. The girl is visited not just by a bird, but the president and her daughter as well. It is to acclimate her to a new president once the old one dies, and to also bring her company for fear she will grow weary of sleeping all day and leave them. The dragon protects the president's family, but only in certain times of distress and she is allowed to traverse the streets with or without the heiress.
While the dragon is a rather flippant there is a safeguard in place to protect those of the president's bloodline. The Elusive Eight was founded long ago, but was never so refined to the point it is in present time. This organization collectively breeds genetically superior humans for the sole purpose of a super soldier. These children are grown for the purpose to defend the crown, and while there have been defectors in the past, they are not looked down upon or hunted for their disobedience. The child should not have to suffer the sins and choices of the parent, and Presidents of recent years have upheld this law. (Though it was not always the case.) These subjects are held in the utmost respect, and some fearfulness, and they are also given the best weaponry and technology. There, of course, are limitations to this, and if any signs of chaotic behavior is seen to the point of harming the very people they are meant to protect, the subjects will be disciplined accordingly; however it is known that most of those in this organization are purists. They do not trust or care about other races, and their xenophile natures are abundant when dealing with outside hostilities.
It should be noted that the greatest lie the humans have ever told each other, was that of the Fallen being nothing more than a myth. They are not old enough to remember the war from first accountants, and while one would assume they would simply tell their children, and their children's children that of the lore, it is not the case. It is, however, so when it comes down to the president and her child that is to take her place. Every child learns the truth at a young age, also learning the largest lie in human history made by their own ruling governor. It is for their own greater good, the president tells themselves, as the humans would live in a state of fear and unrest if they knew the truth of the devastating losses of the War for the Dawn. Everyone who leaves their borders, and happen to come across another telling the story of the Fallen- if they remembered- any and all humans simply think of it as a myth. It is nothing more than a story told to scare children at night, and the farce has worked for the 10,000 years the Fallen have been in slumber.
Below are some helpful things to know before starting a human, and what they are about. This will help you better build your characters into a more rounded, and breathable person!
Government Type: Matriarchal society. Madam President, her daughter the Heiress, and unnamed children if one so desires. Below the President is the Cabinet that is filled with 4 women and one male. (For diplomatic relations, of course.) Below them still are the police force comprised of any number of women and men. CEBA operates in secret above the Cabinet, but still falls under ruling of the President.
Overall Population size: TBD
Racial Demographics: The capital is comprised of a small population, (perhaps 100 in total in the air, and 50 on the ground), of dragons, mages, werebeasts, and elves. Vampires never venture here, though there can be some that were adopted at birth roaming around if one so desires.
Specialized Goods Exported: Bone charms and metal sheets to those of Karst and Sylvenor.
Religions: Lostianity (The prayer to the Lost One)
Names of settlements and / towns outside of the capital: TBD
Ruling Family name: Corvus
Foreign Policy:Hostile: Thentis (Vampires), Giants - Allies: Sylvenor (Elves), Dragon's Reach (Dragons), Karst (Mages), Aghor (Werebeasts). While they fall under the category of allies, there is still some animosity amongst the mages and elves.
Military Doctrine: Land and sky focused.

Rune Magic and Armor Suits Overview
Summary: Rune magic comes in two forms: that of physical runes that have latent magical properties to cause effects on the world, and runes that can be put on the flesh to boost physical functions of the body. Further it will be broken down, with runes affecting the world first followed by runes affecting the physique second. The simplest way to tell if your rune type is World or Body is the distinction. Body Runes will go on something, the body, armor, shields, or weapons, while a World Rune will only be used via the bone white charms. There is also those of the armor suits, alternatively known as Combat Efficient Battle Armor, or CEBA for short. These are suits powered by the human's infused metal plates of magic, and small charms embedded around the titan. The CEBA are utilized by those of certain organizations and lesser forms are used by the police that protect the civilians from crime. This will be explained after runes.
Runes of the World: These are small charms that every human, especially soldier, will have on them. The bone white charms are infused with magical attributes and while mages can use them far greater, it is for humans to channel their latent abilities through to cause roaring flames or suffocating winds. These magical abilities cannot stand up against mages in the least, but they are effective against vampires, werebeasts, and elves. They can fend off a mage if it is of a different element, and the reason being is because humans are more versatile. Depending on their arsenal of charms, they can channel different elemental abilities to attack, making a mage who is weak against one element on the defensive for the entire fight, even if the magical attacks cannot break through such shields.
Runes of the Body: Arguably the strongest of the abilities a human can use, these are made with the bone charm runes that are molded into spindly sticks, of sorts and are called stellein(s). When a human utilizes a stellein and puts it on flesh, they can draw the "language" of runes that imbue the wearer with prominent physical feats. Ranging from seeing in the dark, physical strength and speed, to not dying immediately when the shock sets in from having an arm chopped off, these marks are rather strong and are seen as helpful tools around the house to life and death on the battlefield.
CEBA: Something every Elusive Eight member knows about in spades, the CEBA units are invaluable pieces of hardware. They are not always clunky and makes a subject a tank, it can make them swifter, stronger without the extra armor, and keener. The CEBA do not need to be external armor, but internal as well. There have been agents in the past that have allowed doctors to embed the metal plates into their body, sculpt it even an eye, and have gone as far as to replace a bone or limb. The suits are advanced enough to stop a fledgling vampire from punching right through them, and while it cannot withstand a single punch from an older dragon or vampire, that is why those that wear this armor can use rune magic as well. They are the most rounded of combatants and the protectors of the President and her family, as well as the civilians of the human kingdom. As was said before, those of the police system can use a lesser form of the CEBA units, allowing them to not take or withstand huge bouts of damage, they are still crowd controlled and are used to protect rather than attack or defend.

Rune Magic In Depth Runes of the World: These runes can only affect the world, and are utilized in order to cause an effect rather than creating a domino effect like those of the Body. World Runes have a number of effects, and most of them are elemental in nature. This includes, but is not limited to, fire, water, wind, and stone. Note that the runes are stronger when surrounded or have something to pull from, and this means runes like that of stone cannot be utilized appropriately inside of Idreiya but can be used wonderfully on the ground. Some who have these runes in the capital use them in gardening or other like hobbies. Take notice that runes are used by the human's trace amount of magic in their bones, making a multitude of options open to the clean slate, and therefore a numerous amount of elements can be achieved. This includes, but is not limited to, blood, crystal, light, shade, and sound. Again, however, because the magic is being transferred in a closed circuit, the user to the rune bone charm, someone must have the rune mark they need in order to continuously use their magic. The number of times a rune can be used depends on how much energy is placed into the charm. If someone were to dislodge the dirt around a plant, their rune can be used a total of 5 times, but if someone were to be making a hailstorm, it can only be used 1 time. Likewise, the amount of time changes with the amount of energy being utilized. Taking the previous example, if one were to be dislodging dirt in a plant pot for an extended period of time, because the surface area in which they are changing is smaller, the rune does not burn out in near as much time as a firestorm. This is another reason why soldiers and police officers have a bag of runes with them wherever they go. One can have a multitude of different charms, though they will not be as effective in them, while another could have a rune of a single type and be extremely potent. Though remember, they are not as strong when stacked against a mage. They can only be used effectively to keep a mage of an opposite element at bay as long as the user is versed in one or two rune types, a werebeast, vampire, and elf; just like mages, there is practically no contest against dragons though Runes of the Body allows the leveling of the humans to become on par with that of dragons- to an extent.
An example of such runes is: "Dez pressed the small charm in between her thumb and index fingers slowly. She hadn't used these in so long. She didn't find much usage from them, though her mother always made her practice. She was stronger with Body, not World, she hissed in her mind. Regardless, the girl pressed harder into the bone charm before jumping in a "dodge" like fashion out of the way. As her feet touched the earth again, she flung out her hand attached to the rune, and an explosion of lightning shot out in an arc. As the dust cleared, the dummy had a nicely singed hole in its chest, and Dez huffed off annoyed at having to use these stupid things again."
You are the reactor and the rune charm is the conduit. Again be advised you cannot be proficient in World and Body runes.
Runes of the Body: Simply put, these runes do not affect how one wields the bone charms but how one manipulates their own body. By drawing the language of runes onto one's body, armor, weapon, shield, or item the wielder can create a plethora of events. Seeing in the dark, increased attack damage towards a certain race, detection decrease, and much more are examples of such runes. They require a stellein and while more experienced users can make stronger runes for the body, they can still be drawn by anyone who has the knowledge. New runes cannot be made, mostly because of the vast amount of them already, and they have been passed down for generations. The symbols upon the body work in much the same way as the World Runes: instead of using up a charm depending on how severe the effects are, the runes of the body will simply disappear. Stronger runes like that of causing enhanced reflexes to the point of dodging almost anything will begin to fade after combat, runes such as seeing in the dark would fade a full day after use. The stellein does not need to be replaced unless lost or damaged. One must have a stellein to draw the language of runes onto the body, and if one does not have proficiency in it depending on how strong the rune is, they require another who is. One's proficiency level with the drawing of runes cannot match their proficiency level when it comes to using World Runes, and vise versa. Rune strength is directly correlated to the expertise of the wielder, and while someone can still have enhanced reflexes, it may not be as strong as another person's who is more skilled in the trade. Likewise, runes cannot be drawn onto the body whilst in combat unless one is a master. This is the reason why soldiers who know they are going into the field will draw all necessary runes before leaving the safety of their citadel but that of the President isn't too worried about it. One who does not fully understand their power cannot draw them when in heavy fire because of the minute details of such runes, and with one wrong flick of the wrist it can cause a rune to become ineffective and moot. Note that it takes anywhere from one minute to five to draw a rune on flesh or steel and you can only have up to 4 activated at once.
An example of such runes is: She wore no armor, and when she burst forward with inhuman speed, she quickly ducked. Her blackened sword trailed behind her as she ran, and just before she could headbutt the boy, Dez suddenly stopped and flung her arms upward, trying to uppercut her opponent and eviscerate him in one fluid movement. Ragnar would notice both symbols on her arm burned slightly with power, and even if he did not use runes himself, if he was versed in them he would know they were that of agility and flexibility. Dez had stronger runes than most at their age, for goodness sake she could reach speeds that were hard to follow, but she didn't want to push her rune so harsh for the opening attack. Instead, her sharp sword would just try to connect and even that would be a win.
Dez took the time to place such runes on her body before entering combat, and at will they will react. There are different moments in which a rune can come alive, even at the person's will to not use them up too quickly, so let your imagination run wild when creating your runes.
An example of a Body rune being placed onto a weapon is: If he had a rune affixed to that sword, he could have done some amazing earth or fire cone damage, and the girl's mind raced through all the possibilities of his process. Look here for more.

CEBA Units and Cybernetic Enhancement In Depth
The most invaluable piece of hardware besides Body Runes, CEBA units completely change the field of battle and surveillance for humans against other races. The units are versatile, much like humans, in that they can be anything from tank, agility, surveillance, and damage output (there are far more categories but for now we will stick to these). The units are comprised of very heavy or thin armor that have powerful runes on them that defy their separate law. Small bone charms surround the titan as well, giving off a potent magical effect that enhances the initial response of the unit, to expand the archetype the user is going for. A tank, when using both the CEBA unit and additional Body Runes can withstand an elder vampires attack up to four times, but their moves are clunky and less agile- making a companion operative needed. An agility unit can zip around the battlefield and make it hard for even a were to see them, but can be taken down in one or two hits- crumpling their armor and making them useless. Likewise one that holds a surveillance unit can see vast distances, even farther than other races, with the help of such technology and they are able to create electrical distortions via their HUD system. Finally one with damage on their side could greatly turn the tide of battle by spitting out elemental spells or physical attacks faster than the eye could follow, however if caught their armor can be broken in much the same way as one of agility units. Much like the Rune system, one can choose whichever they would like to be proficient in and while they can pick a main category and a sub category, the unit's sub choice will not be as strong as another's main choice.
While the runes that make these units so strong are not like separate Body Runes, if one taxes their suit too much it will cause the same effect. The rune will disappear and unlike in their separate law, they cannot be placed back onto the metal sheet any longer. If this happens in the field (which should only happen if the combatant is in a very taxing fight for more than a few hours), then the suit of armor will become null and void and the only thing protecting the operative is their World Runes which some may not even be proficient in. This event has not happened outside of tests before, however the humans have not been to war either since the testing of the CEBA units. Be advised when choosing what your operative is efficient in, for there are heavy tides ahead.
As was said before: the units do not have to be external but internal as well. There have been others in the past that have had an eye taken willingly, and replaced it with a cybernetic unit for internal surveillance technology. There is even one such girl who's life completely changed because of such testing and technology integration known as Quintana Xenia. Further information on this individual can be found below, but be warned that she is the only one of her kind to have such high processing. Most of her hardware, however, can be simulated on a user's operative, simply not to the extent that was done on Ms. Xenia. Anything from weapons, armor, and processing can be upgraded on an individual, and while these will surely win us victory against our enemies, the price we must pay is heavy.

Quintana Xenia: Cybernetic and Runetic Human
The only one of her kind to go to such extremes, Ms. Xenia is the pride and joy of the Elusive Eight and the human populus. A terrible accident with her own brother, the boy learning himself to be that of a mage, left her body in shambles. Initially her head, left arm, and chest were all recovered from the sight. The only reason it could work in this manner was because her heart was still intact, as was 80% of her brain mass. She was rushed to the secret base of the Eight and, without personal permission for her deceased parents were apart of the organization, was upgraded upon.
When the eighteen year old awoke she... did not take it well. The doctors tried to assuage her that it was the only way, the will of her parents, that she would continue to survive. Of course they told her this when she was witnessing her new limbs for the first time, but alas. A new processor known as Herja was interconnected to Ms. Xenia's brain, allowing the rune full access to shut off parts of the organic material so that in the next five months, it was easier for the girl to come to grips with her current predicament.
Speaking of: Herja is the name in which Ms. Xenia gives the core processor that is housed inside of her skull (the name is different for everyone). It is not a true AI but a rune that can create a type of response similar to hearing voices and adapting to its environment. It creates a feedback loop, as it were, that allows the user to feed it with information that the surviving brain mass can adapt any words that may seep out of the rune into a cognitive statement. Some in the past have gone the route of calling it barbaric as it is inducing schizophrenia, but they were quickly rushed from the program and decommissioned. Because of its effects and the trust the user gives into it, this is the reason Ms. Xenia can shut down multiple areas of her brain that she needs: it is not really her, as it were, but the rune known as Herja. (Be advised that one does not have to house their core processor inside of their brain like Ms. Xenia. It can be anywhere on the body as one so desires, but there is always a cost, much like the induced schizophrenia.)
Passing onto the fifth month of rehabilitation, Ms. Xenia endured tests to her systems rune and cybernetic, mental health, and the rate of decay- if any- in her still organic parts. Without any persuasion as the months turned to years, the girl gave the green light to remove her left arm in place of a stronger prosthetic to match the rest of her body. This massive weapon was deemed the Lex Talionis and its specs can be seen below.
Lex for short, this weapon is similar to a Gatling gun in appearance though much more powerful. It can be used to fire lower "caliber" plasma bullets via a rune charm at a target that requires little charging but causes less damage, a blunt weapon, or- if charged accordingly- it can fire a streamlined shot so powerful it can break through concrete (though it is rather short in range). The Lex is Ms. Xenia's personalized weapon she asked for, and through testing of further rune magic and electrical displacements it has turned into the perfect tool for her. Because of the electricity inside of the shots, multiple smaller shots can have minuet side effects that cause the enemies muscles to spasm after a prolonged hit count, though she has gone to the scientists every few days to speak of the weapon's supposed atom vibrator.
The weapon takes the place of Ms. Xenia's right arm and, while it makes her do everything with her left hand, the girl still loves it. It should be noted that the stronger shot causes a temporary overload in Ms. Xenia's shock stabilizers and systems in general as they are pushed to their maximum to absorb as much blow back as possible from the blast as well as being charged throughout with the electricity blowback. Because of this it has been confirmed that she cannot use it frivolously, and can only have permission to fire such a blast if her life, or her teammates lives, depended on it. The two conductors at the base of the weapon will discharge a bout of energy whenever it is fully charged, marking the moment with multiple cracks of the air before the blast.
As you can see, the weapon is quite powerful. The epitome of human evolution and knowledge! Moving on, we shall discuss Ms. Xenia's physical capabilities as well as her current personality. While the girl's everyday strength output is that of a normal human's, in times of battle or in cases where she needs an immediate bout of strength, it has been clocked at being five times stronger than a normal humans. While her cybernetic limbs have the potential to reach four times the strength output, it is unknown as to why the Herja rune will not unlock this level. Some of our scientists have theorized that it is due to never needing such reserves of energy, but it has never been confirmed. In equal footing Ms. Xenia is able to run for 5 days straight without rest or external power supply, though with new upgrades- rune and cybernetic- to her system she can get winded like a normal human when exercising. Herja can turn this function off if she was in the battlefield, or if torturous circumstances were to arise. Further, she can feel pain but can also desensitize herself if the situation demanded as such as well as have increased eyesight due to artificial orbs, hearing, and smelling.
She has an infrared function though she is hoping to upgrade to an equal x-ray version to see through walls when combined together, she can hear a mouse scurrying under a trashcan from the opening of an alleyway, and has the smell equaling to that of a dog's. She can move three times faster than a normal human, though it drains her systems faster than settling for average speed. Herja, as a core processor, is so strong that Ms. Xenia has become an engineering wiz. She enjoys tinkering with the airships and CEBA units, though she has not been authorized to pilot one herself, and has speedily read through all of the manuals for them she could get her hands on. Through this, the girl has made her own set of obedient robots- with permission of course- and uses them at will. The armor about the girl is most noted by the slim, yet sturdy, plating about her thighs that travel all the way down to her ankles. Black skin tight plating runs the length of all joints and through areas where the leotard does not run. This plating is durable, as it protects all of Ms. Xenia's wiring and systems, and cannot be easily destroyed or damaged.
Through her training with the Eight, her abilities with a gun are astounding. She can use her enhanced eyesight to shoot more accurately with a handgun, her cognitive abilities to fire a sniper rifle after taking in every minuet detail, and strength to carry a high caliber weapon with ease (this will overtax her power cell systems, of course, but she can still accomplish it seeing as it only drains her a small amount faster than carrying something of equivalent mass). She has been proven to be extremely efficient with guns of most caliber and while she does not care to use them when out in the field (because of her inability to use Body runes or World runes outside of those she is outfitted with), she has knowledge of such if ever the time arose. Because of her natural unwillingness to use impersonal guns, and her wish to own one she could always rely on, after extended tests it has been concluded that, when out in the field, Ms. Xenia must equip the Lex Talionis when on high stake missions.
After a new upgrade to Ms. Xenia's back port, she is able to attach a vest, of sorts, around her upper body. This pliable vest is only issued to her when going out into the field where there is possible danger, or if she will not return to her base of operations, and it connects to Herja immediately upon being secured. While the vest can be used predominantly for it's flight purposes, the pliable material can connect into a small port on the back of Ms. Xenia's head. When done, a blue screen appears from either side of the girl's head, giving her increased visual stimuli from combat while also pointing out trajectories, simulations, and analyzations. Prolonged usage of this vest, however, drains her power supply rapidly even if only one function is active. Because of this it is placed about her but only used in extreme circumstances or for small bouts of activity.
Likewise with one command, Ms. Xenia can unfurl the long and sleek wings from the slightly bulky areas on either side of the vest's back. The wings are light and, with a strong leap into the sky, can let her glide in the air with help of small maneuvering thrusters that expel steam out all quadrants around the vest and via the material that connects to her head port. The vest only has a certain amount of steam built into the lining along with pressure, however, and thus cannot be used for long.
Below is a first hand account from the Herja system itself regarding Ms. Xenia's personality (the system has been updated and changed to contemporary speech as to not alienate you recruits):
"Quinn is as mysterious as they come. She takes her role very seriously, it contorting her at a very young age, and thus she follows orders with no regard for the outcomes. While she believes she is rather trusting of the members of the Eight, she also questions if that is due to her neural system and its commands given, and as such treats newcomers with a bit of wariness. It cannot be said she gives those who she marginally trusts more of herself, but it can definitely be included that she doesn't straight out try to murder those who have done her no wrong. While she is usually a quiet being, many forgetting she is peering at them from the shadows, Quinn's favorite pastime is searching through her systems and running diagnostics on the machinery around her. Most who know her, other Elusive Eight members and some higher ranking officers, take it as her going about her daily business with no regards of the things she'll purify, but it is not always so. Quinn likes getting lost in the robots and manuals just like any other person as she works on them with personalized tools of her own (she has a thing for personalized anything, really).
In regards to her actions, Quinn can be seen leaning on the softer side of nature, enjoying a stroll through the cherry blossom trees or playing with animals on the ground. Others must be careful of the kind of animal the girl plays with, however, as once she has "played" with a lion without understanding the danger it held for normal humans. Through this, she is naive about common occurrences throughout the human world, and once stopped at a stop light on Idreyia to stare at it until one of her companions found her and snapped her out of her intrigued daze. They do not know if her serene body language to nature but her naivety to most electronics in the human world constitutes to the possibility of her age, or if she was simply a recluse who didn't get out much before succumbing to death at the hand of her sibling. Regardless of this, Quinn's attitude toward most things are diverse.
This is seen most notably when Quinn seems to be lost in thought. Her system, myself, is like a second voice in her head matched with her own. While it is only a buzzing in description, Quinn can discern what I am telling her and act accordingly. While there are fail safes in place so that Quinn has complete control over her own systems, being a member of the Elusive Eight has caused some programs to be uploaded to her core processors. Through this I can suppress memories, though not delete them, to further fit the agenda put forth by the military force while also droning on about propaganda for the Eight and against all those unlike us. Even Herja is not all powerful, however, and there are many moments when Quinn has thought of "inflammatory" subjects and her system has done nothing about it."
As was stated before, Ms. Xenia is the epitome of human creation mixing cybernetics and runetic abilities into one. If you are brave enough to continue this amazing work, please step forward. Be advised again that Ms. Xenia is the only human being that has, and can ever get to the upgraded point she is at now. But do not worry! We will all be upgraded in time...

Ability Section- Profiles- World Runes:
Copy and paste everything here into a separate post on your profile to further show what one of the human kingdom can do. This will be separated into three other categories that you will need to copy and paste to your profile. If your character is not proficient, nor have, the following abilities, then you do not have to copy this section. Move onto the section in which your character does have, and copy and paste it to your profile.
World Runes
Classification:(Are you a user of World runes and what do you call yourself; please place your classification here)
Rank: (Anywhere from novice, intermediate, expert, to master. To become a master, one must first have the prerequisite of having substantial renown.)
Shelf Life: (How long has your character been the rank you have chosen? Are there multiple tiers in which they completed at certain ages? Be descriptive)
World Rune:(Place the element you are most proficient in first here)
Passive: (Place all those that apply to your usage of your primary World rune such as having the potential to be a mage and so on)
World Rune Abilities: (Fill out the section below. You don't have to come up with fancy names, but please list the element your character primarily uses, the force behind those attacks, and a healthy post duration and cooldown. If you have only one element, then you are allotted 6 ability points, but if you have split your time between a secondary World rune, it will stay at 3. Remember! To be proficient in one is far greater than being proficient in two; also keep in mind that hard numbers or comparisons really help me understand how powerful these runes are for your character; delete this when you are ready to make your character)

It does not have to be in the brain, like Ms. Xenia's, but wherever it is placed must have a substantial downfall in place. This core processor naturally enhances all "systems" such as speed, strength, hearing, etc. and it requires a good amount of energy to uphold. Almost every agent has named their processor something or another, but it is known that they all have old Norse names correlating to the affliction caused to its owner. Please be descriptive.)

Guns and Technological Advances Something that pushes humans over the edge against other races, technological advances have allowed them to further harness steel and runes into that of guns. These guns are not as quick drawn as the ones you know today, but they are in no means less powerful. They have two mechanics involved in them, though one can choose whichever they prefer, and those are barrel runes and bullet runes. In either case one will have to be proficient in Body Runes to utilize guns, and if one is not depending on the type of mechanic one chooses, they will have to pay someone to do it for them. Note that whichever mechanic you choose, to fire the gun there must be a hammer, which is a small stellein, that hits a rune- thus activating it. Please look at both firearm types as there is information for guns in general in both.
Bullet runes are no different from Body Runes in that they offer an effect directly onto the small bit of metal that is being fired from the gun. Anywhere from elemental effects to scatter shots are possible with these runes, though one must keep their own inventory to pull from. Likewise with bullet runes, one must be aware of the overheating of their barrel because of the vast strain from the rune activating. Because of the crucial damage one can do with bullet runes, and because of this drastic overheating, there will always be a one post cooldown to load the weapon and to give the barrel time to cool. This is what makes guns so unique, initially it was a simple combustion rune which has become the standard round for all firearms. When the combustion rune is struck it creates a blast that launches the steel it was etched upon out of the barrel at a high speed allowing it to punch through flesh and even some armor.
Though as time went on more exotic runes were used. If the rune can be made chances are it can be fired from the barrel. Though some should be warned as the more complex runes tend to put more stress on the weapon and can even have dangerous side effects. Example: "The Jolly" Mechanics
Barrel runes are no different from Body Runes in that they offer an effect directly onto the barrel(s) of the gun. The more powerful the rune the more stress it puts on the firearm and so sometimes the weapon must go a period of time without firing in order to prevent any damage from occurring. In order to compensate for this weakness larger barrels as well as more barrels have been used to alleviate this stress. With a longer and wider barrel, the energy can be distributed across the entire area as it travels allowing for more rounds to be fired. Alternatively, with more barrels comes more shots before all barrels are at their limit.
Reloading by opening the chamber or removing the magazine will allow the firearm a break from the stress and is a key component to preventing weapon damage. The shorter the reload or the longer it goes without one the more likely the weapon is to be harmed. If a character has one long barrel or one barrel in general, it can still only have one rune etched on metal. Be aware of this before you construct your weapon and your character: there can only be one run per gun.
