Personality: Jonathan is very brooding and rough around the edges. His life has been largely nothing but pain and loneliness. He tends to see others for who they really are instead of who they try make you believe which can have its ups and downs, but ultimately it helps give him an accurate view of the world around him. He is slow to trust which makes him difficult to deceive, but if you earn it, that is a bond he will lay down his life for.

Dislikes: Corruption, big government, secret facilities, scientists.
Power: Calcium/Bone Manipulation and an Accelerated Healing Factor
Power Strengths: Jonathan is capable of manipulating the mineral calcium within his own body. This gives him free range control over his skeletal structure allowing him to manipulate and shape his bones as he sees fit. This includes growing, shaping, manipulating density/weight, using as projectiles/weapons, and sharpness. The offensive and defensive capabilities of this power effectively makes him an almost perfect living weapon.
To couple with his power not killing him outright, Jonathan also possesses an accelerated healing factor. This enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human. He could regenerate greatly damaged or destroyed tissue within a few seconds. He has been shown to fully heal from numerous gunshot wounds, severe burns covering most of his body, and regenerate missing eyes within a matter of seconds. This also delays his aging and keeps his body at the physical peak of human potential. That being said, his senses, strength, reflexes, agility, durability, and stamina are enhanced to peak human levels. It also grants him an immunity to disease and foreign contaminants such as drugs and poisons.
Power Weaknesses: Using his powers for long periods of time can cause a calcium deficiency if enough of it leaves his physical body faster than his healing factor can compensate. Despite the fact that he can harden his bones to be more durable than steel doesn't mean they still can't be broken or penetrated with sufficient force or weapons made of metals such as adamantium. Causing bone protrusions is a common way for him to fight, and this does cause pain, despite his healing factor. His healing factor enhances his senses so he is susceptible to things that could irritate them such as severely loud noises, bright flashes, intense smells etc. His healing factor can be severely slowed by exposure to substances that have a reputation for doing so, such as carbonadium. Certain tranquilizers and drugs can affect him if given in large doses because it still takes time for his healing factor to metabolize it all.
History: Jonathan was born to a regular family in 1970. His father was a busineesman and his mother mostly remained home to care for him. Up until the age of 10 he lived a relatively normal life. One day during school he was confronted by a gang of bullies who despite his pleas continued to harass him for being the quiet kid. As they continued to push him around backing him into a corner, his mutation manifested in a rather gruesome way. One of the kids had been impaled on bones that had emerged from Jonathans skeleton. As he looked on in horror the bones receded and the other children fled. Later that evening he was questioned by the authorties who obviously had little faith in the boys story. He was put into custody and underwent several psychiatric evaluations to treat his presumed aggressive behavior towards said bully. The state labeled it as an open and shut case of a bullied kid who finally snapped and killed somebody, so young Jonathan forever remained in the dark and confused to his true nature.
At age 12 he was visited by what most would call men in black. Your typical secret government officials who swooped in to cover up and adopt the unexplainable parts of events. They represented the budding Weapon X program. As Jonathan was taken by them, he was conditioned physically and mentally over the next several years to be the perfect weapon, stripping him of his humanity and subjecting him to several torturous experiments. It wasn't until the escape of Weapon X himself that Jonathan saw his chance at freedom. Having few of his memories left he wandered the globe as a vagabond of sorts. He spent most of his young adult life in Asia seeking spiritual guidance for the things thathe had done as a weapon, and that were done to him. This gave him extensive training in many different forms of martial arts which coupled with his abilities, made him infinitely more formidable. He left Asia in mid 90's and took his sights to Europe. Still appearing young it was here that he enrolled himself in a university and chose to study history. Upon graduating he worked various odd jobs to make ends meet. It wasn't until 2025 that he would return back to the US. Over the next 5 years or so he layed low, only entering into conflicts involving mutants being greatly abused by humans. Even so, he managed to keep out of the public eye and kept his tracks well covered. It wasn't until he crossed paths with the X-Men that he was shown first hand, a group of mutants that fought against those who felt they were superior. Interested he took them up on an offer to join. He tends to keep his distance, but has grown fond of his new home over the past few years.
Other Info: Jonathan has extensive training in various forms of Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino martial arts including Wing Chun, Baguazhang, Taichi, Southern Mantis, Xing Yi, Aikkido, Kempo, Jujitsu, Ninjitsu, and Arnis. He also speaks several languages including English, Spanish, Russian, German, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese.
