- Kazan has an aggressive "I don't give a f**k" attitude and is quite blunt with everything he says. He generally only lacks tact, but gets heated quite quickly. He is quite aware of himself in the sense that he knows where he stands in rankings, power levels, and status in the village, and he never acts above anyone else. Though he butts heads frequently with most others that he encounters, he's actually quite cooperative and will work with anyone toward a common goal, although he may absolutely hate them. Few have ever and ever will call Kazan a friend as he prefers to keep to himself and avoid others, knowing it tends to bring him into more fights than he wants. Those that do form a bond of friendship with Kazan will see that alone or with them, he's quite lazy and stoic most of the time. He does a bit of daily training, but will absolutely spend the whole day napping or reading. He's very quiet when alone or with his close friends. He almost completely changes his persona.

History:
- Kazanmaru is the youngest of twelve, being four years younger than the previous child. All but three of siblings live relatively normal lives. Eight of his siblings were married by the time he'd turn eleven and all began to run local businesses or just work average jobs in the village. The other three all became shinobi in Kumogakure, fighting to serve the Raikage. Kazanmaru looked up to his two brothers and his sister that were all shinobi. He was excited to one day be allowed to start training to become a genin. At the age of six, his family was shocked to receive news that his eldest sister, a jounin in the village, was killed in action during a mission in the Land of Earth. She had been caught off guard along with her other two squad mates. She and another were killed, but the third escaped and returned to the village safely. The whole Yamashita family was crushed to receive the news, and, shortly after, they decided to not allow Kazanmaru to train to become a shinobi. He was the youngest and his mother would be able to bear no more children. This also devastated Kazanmaru just as the news of his sister's death had. His dreams had just been shattered.
For years, Kazanmaru resented his parents, but he learned to deal with their rules. He was raised with a strict lifestyle of diligent housework and assistance in taking care of his mother. She as getting older and weaker quite quickly and, when Kazanmaru was eighteen years old, his mother passed away in her sleep, peacefully. An aura of mourning surrounded the Yamashita family home for over a year before it was broken by an outburst from Kazanmaru. He refused to allow his father to control his life at this point. He was an adult now and demanded to be respected like one. After a heated battle of sharp words between the two, his father agreed that it was time to just let him do as he wishes. He was getting older as well, and would not be able to keep fighting this much longer. His son's entrance to adulthood was inevitable.
Now, at the age of twenty, he has shed his child's name and is known now simply as "Kazan". He has begun his training as a genin.
