Anything that is not NAMED is available to be taken and played by someone who wants them.

These are only the groups known to/involved with Zhiji, not an exhaustive list of all possible survivors. I know I'm not the only Pern fan, and I do not want to hoard all the dragons and fun and be totally alone in my lore-destroying sandbox.

FROM Pern:
Founding Group arrived from 6th Interval in 2010
Bronze Pipith, Set'al
Brown Likoth, J'lah
Blue Bayeth, Lyla
Blue Nachith, B'ram
Blue Mazamath, O'ri
Green Zambreth, Niran
Green Hlavath, K'ren
(other blues and greens welcome to have been in this group)

Second Group from a later Pass, arrived in ??? (this group primarily Syrie's)

Third Group from 4th Pass, arrived in 2014
Gold Virkath, Bikra
Brown Ivenoth, Fi'o
1-2 bronzes
2 browns
4 blues
4 greens

New Weyr-born:
Pipith x Chehaveeth 1, .5 yr after arrival (2011)
Brown Hamath, Wil'm
Blue Somnuth, Allia
2 greens
(these are pureblooded Pernese dragons, no mutations or non-standard Impressions)

Pipith x Chehaveeth 2, 1.5 yrs after arrival (2012)
Gold Anshidheth, Ione
1 blue
3 greens
(these are pureblooded Pernese dragons, no mutations or non-standard Impressions)

Zhijian x Anshidheth, 3 yrs after arrival (2013)
Gold Jeyuth, Bree - Syrie
Brown Ginoth, K'shet - Ithums
Green Eriseth, Blessed - Syrie (fertile)

1 bronze
2 browns
4 blues
7 greens

Likoth x Virkath, 4 yrs after arrival (2014)
Brown Dobrokhoth, M'yk - Meep
13 more dragons, any reasonable color distribution (no gold)
(these are pureblooded Pernese dragons, no mutations or non-standard Impressions)

Nachith x Anshidheth, 4 yrs after arrival (2014)
Green Firith, Ralla - Meep
8 more dragons, any reasonable color distribution (no gold)
(these are pureblooded Pernese dragons, no mutations or non-standard Impressions; they are, however, below average in size)

Rio x Virkath, 5 yrs after arrival (2015)
1 black, female
1 fertile green
14 more dragons, any reasonable color distribution (no gold)
one Unbound available, can be any but the black or the fertile green

Whoever x Anshidheth, 6 yrs after arrival (2016) - FIGHT WITH VIRKATH
17 dragons, any reasonable color distribution (including 1 gold)
(these are pureblooded Pernese dragons, no mutations or non-standard Impressions)

Purist Folks, will return to Pern:
Virkath
Likoth
Hlavath
probably most of the 4th-Pass group
whoever else

Also going to Pern, but not purists:
Anshidheth
Zambreth
Bayeth
Firith
Ivenoth
Whoever else

Much of Pern is uninhabitable (or borderline), only one northern Weyr is intact enough to occupy immediately - High Reaches. Southern Continent is WILD, felines and whers oh my. Too dangerous.

At this point, whers and firelizards will become available.

Due to low numbers of dragons following Age of Destruction/Gehenna, 'production' is ramped up similar to during a Pass, with golds and female blacks clutching with good regularity every 1-2 years/turns. Additionally, occurrence of fertile females is UP by 2-3x. 3% chance of golds in gold clutches, 3% chance of blacks in black clutches (decide wtf happens if there is a black-sired gold clutch), and 1 in 25 greens is fertile as opposed to what will eventually settle at 1 in 50. (But since fertile geeens are a new thing, this is not known.)

Known Mutations, Zhiji-line:
- Manes instead of ridges/crests
- Antlers instead of headknobs
- Furred, can be all-over or partial
- Sheen on colors that are not usually metallic
- Some feathering on wings, but not FULL feathered
- Increased size: in first gen, dragons can be up to two color spectrums larger (green falling anywhere in brown range of size, therefore could border on smol bronze); in subsequent gens, up to one and a half color spectrums larger (green anywhere from blue range to smol brown)
- Increased intelligence/memory
- Increased lifespan, if bonded to a longer-lived individual
- Ability to bond to non-humans, from mortal to ageless to aoidei, but must still be humanoid/capable of riding a dragon
- No longer give a s**t about gender, less picky about age (will take any ageless/aoide, and mortals up to equivalent of 40 for their race) - original Impression rules were semi-canon, gender mattered but not sexuality
- Occasional independence*
- Occasional fertile greens*

Known Mutations, Rio-line:
- Occasional independence*
- RARE black* (matte or sheen), will occur in either gender (not known initially, first occurence is female), always fertile, on brown size spectrum
- Occasional fertile greens*
- No size mutations, but often slender/lithe - pretty dragons!
- Same changes to intelligence/memory, lifespan, and Impression as Zhiji's line

*Availability will be noted.
- Fertile greens Rise as frequently as other greens, but on average clutch only once a year, sometimes every two years.  Unpredictable.  Tiny clutches of 1-6 eggs, never produce golds.  Very tiny possibility of bronze, maybe 1 in every 200 eggs produced. Chance of fertile green 1 in every 50 greens, regardless of what color they are clutched from.
- Black dragons occur only in black-produced clutches (a non-black dragon from Rio's line will NOT produce blacks); within these clutches, female black dragons have a rarity on par with golds in normal clutches - 1% chance. Male black dragons have a rarity on par with browns - 15% chance.
- Female black dragons Rise similarly to golds, can produce any color BUT gold.  Clutch size ranges 4-10 eggs.
- In lines descended from one god, dragons have an approximately 1 in 40 chance of independence.  When god lines cross, chance increases to 1 in 20.

Known Independent Dragons:
Green Arasinyath

Known Fertile Greens:
Green Eriseth of Blessed

SPECULATION:
Can dragons/dragon-bonded be made aoidei? Given extreme stress of process and co-dependence of dragon and rider, seems likely to result in death, madness, and/or failure for one or both parties. Best chance of success would be for a dragon bonded to someone who was already an aoide ar time of Impression becoming an aoide of the same god. idk this would need input.

Make binding deal with purist dragonriders (ask Mang for assistance?), they can keep Pern itself pureblooded (no weird god lines and non-humans) as long as they swear to come to him when he calls on them to fight, most likely in case of grigori.

Purists do recognize that Zhijian is their god (or at least their dragons' god), and do respect him, but they prefer him at a distance, believing that he has meddled TOO MUCH.

Traditional gold is Virkath, rider is Bikra.

They lead a small group of riders previously stranded on some a**-end planet; after hearing about New Weyr, they make the trip to join up. Most are just happy to have other riders and dragons, an actual functioning Weyr, and candidates for Hatchings - Vikrath had been Rising/clutching, but hatchlings had no one to Impress to and always died. They are fairly accepting of the reality of gods and Zhiji himself, but Bikra in particular is really weirded out by the freakish Zhijilings.

This plants the beginnings of a split in the ranks, helped along by J'lah of Likoth, who is aggravated that Zhiji continues to ignore his pleas/offerings to grant Likoth an advantage when the Senior Queen flies. (To be fair, he's one of many, and Zhiji ignores them all.) They're both further annoyed when Anshidheth allows herself to be flown by blue Nachith, something a few others find upsetting as well. More issues follow because B'ram doesn't want to be Weyrleader, and he, Ione, and Zhiji decide Set'al should keep the position, since B'ram refuses it.

Last straw is Zhiji's alliance with Rio; Love chases Virkath, she chooses him, and has freakish babies. Bikra has Had It. Broods and broods, and next time Anshidheth Rises, she deliberately returns with Virkath and a fight ensues. Zhiji breaks it up, but will no longer tolerate Bikra and her purists. Heads to Pern briefly (but unwilling to stay away long), then sends a pair back to scout and see if anywhere is habitable.

Not willing to give Bikra or J'lah power - sends Ione and Anshidheth to lead, along with other progressive but 'pure' pairs to balance out the number of crabby traditionalists.

Makes agreement with purists that 'impure' dragons are not permitted on recolonized Pern, but Pern cannot go full isolationist - will continue to trade, 'pure' pairs will be able to decide where they live, and should Zhiji ever call upon them to fight, they will answer. He is welcome on Pern, but will not Fly a female there, nor permit another god to do so.

This will lead to a quasi-canon Pern at least in terms of dragons - no weird dragon traits/colors/sizes/Impressions. Also a traditional power structure.

Set'al decides to retire. Was never all that keen on being Weyrleader in the first place, and once it turned political that REALLY killed it. Between that and Anshidheth gone, good time to reevaluate how the Weyr is run.

At this point, New Weyr formally becomes Daggerjaw Weyr-Temple. It is Temple before Weyr, and power/structure reflects that. Many Pernese titles are done away with (no Weyrleader/Weyrwoman, etc.), self you will need to decide on new ones.

There will STILL be dragons based at the Weyr, for now it is still where most are born and raised. Whether to stay or go at maturity/completion of training is up to the dragons and riders, generally it is the most devout who stay, as well as the very military types. Fertile females may be more likely to stay, or they may return to Rise and/or Clutch.

It is MANDATORY that Candidates/Weyrlings learn a trade, which unlike in Pern includes and even encourages military pursuits (obviously, there is a pause in any combat training during Weyrlinghood). There are the basic fighter-types, but also scout- and messenger-types. Most dragons will receive combat training as well, though for non-military this will be the very basics.

off-Pern dragons do not flame, as they have no firestone supply; it is too essential to the Pernese set to send any offworld.

Differences between New Weyr (Pantheon world, Zhiji's pet project) and Pern
so so many.

Not a difference, but relative infos: dragons measured in feet, not meters.

- The founding group of New Weyr is from 6th Interval, Telgar.
- Almost everything about founders' Pern/time was canon (and much will remain so when they recolonize, as they take only Pure dragons back). Exceptions: while golds and bronzes did choose according to gender identity (gold to female, bronze to male), sexuality had no relevance. Greens and blues chose from any gender, browns usually chose from males but would occasionally branch out to others.
- Lots of Pern-specific terminology and phrases have fallen out of use in New Weyr, except among the dragonriders who are from Pern. 'Year' is used instead of 'turn,' for example, and references to whers, flits, wherries, tunnelsnakes, etc. have fallen out of use (although references to whers and flits will make a comeback, with the recolonization of Pern and establishment of trade). Things like Faranth and the First Egg are rarely mentioned. Deadglow and dimglow have held on as insults, however.
- Riders of any gender, bonded to any color dragon, choose whether or not to ellide their names.
- New Weyr society is in transition from traditional Pernese structure to...whatever it's going to be. In the beginning it was as traditional as was feasible with the smaller number of dragons and riders as compared to non-riders; riders generally accepted as deserving of authority because they've been chosen by dragons (who are viewed as Zhiji's children, whether his spawn or not). Weyrleader and Weyrwoman remained intact positions for years, inherited in the traditional way, until Zhijian flew Anshidheth. Because he was uninterested in being the actual Weyrleader, he dictated that Set'al would remain so for the time being; this was the case again later on when Nachith flew her and his rider declined the position. As a result, Weyrleader has become a position for which one is chosen by Zhijian, and there is no reason it needs to be a male bronze- or brownrider. Weyrwoman may or may not eventually become an obsolete position.
- Weyrleader will be advised by a council, perhaps?
- Dragons and riders are not vital to the Pantheon world/society because there is no Thread (which is why the only natural authority they have now is in being viewed as blessed), and without Thread to fight/practice to fight, they have considerably more time on their hands and can/should pursue trades and lives and family. 'Weyrbrats' a bit different now as well, as riders don't just automatically go 'oh wells' and give kids to the creche because they're too busy for them because, again, no Thread. Weyrbrat is simply a term for anyone born in or taken in as a child by the Weyr.
- Dragons and riders will begin to spread out more and more, Weyr will become more and more of a Temple and general optional 'home base'; non-beeeding dragons in particular might visit only rarely, if at all. Breeding dragons who live elsewhere maybe come back when it's near time to Rise, and messages are sent out to males so there will be suitors to chase her?

NO SHADY FLIGHT s**t
Females are not force-caught, they have a CHOICE. Similarly, riders can go with the flow, have a stand-in, or lock thenselves in their rooms. This means that, theoretically, any male can fly any female, since she is choosing - ICly this is a stance that would have gradually evolved, with riders/dragons from later passes being more progressive and earlier passes being more 'traditional' (not so much force catching being a thing, more that the 'best' chaser almost always 'won'/was expected to be chosen).

Because of the understanding that longer flights=bigger/better clutches, there were no previous known instances of Blue x Gold until New Weyr. It does seem the assumption is true, as the Nachith x Anshidheth clutch is small, and the dragons themselves smaller than average (this will also hold true in cases of Blue x Black).

Zhiji has worries about the longterm success of 'his' dragons, since all known (to him) dragons born post-Gehenna descend from only two female lines. Even though they were engineered with no real sense of familial relation and to be able to breed to related individuals without major side effects, he is concerned.

May begin sealing alliances by having Youth-and-higher edels to breed into the population? Might actively seek a goddess in order to begin a new female line.

Each edel will have at least one weirdness unique to their line, though some occur across all god lines: better intelligence/memory, greater longevity, much looser Impression restriction, occasional occurence of fertile greens, occasional occurence of independent dragons.

SOME but not all may produce a new color, which may or may not be fertile. Some MAY produce a minor new ability.

Things that WILL NOT change: basic body structure; number/arrangement of legs/feet/toes/tail; eyes.

Things that can be MODIFIED: headknobs swapped for something like horns or antlers; addition of patchy or all-over fur or scales; manes instead of neckridges; potentially a second pair of wings. In the case of wing modifications, wings must match/be symmetrical, and must retain basic dragon shape (no butterfly/insect/fairy, full feathers, 'energy'/phantom wings, etc.).

commission chibidragon template? (cute and simple, no shading) must investigate possibilities. would prefer one base (unless one fuzz and one nonfuzz is easier?) with interchangable features:
"normal" pern
furred
fuzzmane in place of neckridges
antlers in place of headknobs
partially feathered wings

would not be in use immediately, but potentially (depends on alliances made/mutations developed):
spiky bits
other horn/antler types
partial scaling (may need to be usable with fur)
second pair of wings (would need standard and partial-feather variation)
cute little feathertufts behind headknobs?

Y'know, screw color percentages, they're no fun. Whatever happens ********' happens, just no overrun everything with metallics and weird colors.

As far as clutch SIZE, being on Pern vs. not being on Pern seems to have an effect - on Pern during a Pass, clutch sizes are larger than during Intervals or for dragons not on Pern, since Thread is not a thing.

Not!Pern Clutch Sizes:
Any Color x Green - 1-6 eggs
Brown/Bronze/Black x Black - 7-12 eggs
Brown/Bronze/Black x Gold - 13-18 eggs
Blue x Black - 4-8 eggs
Blue x Gold - 9-12 eggs

Only blacks (either gender) can produce more blacks, only golds can produce golds. Blues cannot sire golds.

Pern Clutch Sizes:
(Because of the ban on god-descended dragons, there are only canon colors and no fertile greens.)
Brown/Bronze x Gold - 20-30
Blue x Gold - 10-15

off-Pern, whers will become highly sought-after, losing the context of being a failed experiment. They will most commonly be bonded Zhiji's highest-ranking followers, especially early on in the breeding program. They are very carefully selecting for OBEDIENCE and tractability, and because they are by necessity beginning from a feral population, this takes several years.

They must be able to be controlled by a prospective handler and do violence only by command of that handler. They will select the most agreeable from each generation and cull the rest - eventually, the early generation whers will be sedated and they'll be returned to the Southern Continent and allowed to go feral again.

Initial batch of whers collected shortly after sky is restored. Zhiji makes a trip to Pern to evaluate the state of the planet, which is still not so great. He encounters wild whers on the Southern Continent and decides he rly needs them, so he endeavors to bring some back to breed. Ends up with a gold, a green, and several males to start from.

Early generations will not be bonded to handlers, but contained (2-4 separate 'packs' each in their own area) and allowed to breed. Pack will be sedated after eggs are produced so that eggs can be removed and hatching supervised, etc. In early generations, Zhiji is always present to determine which should be culled and which kept, THEN the acceptable ones are bonded/blooded to handlers.

Because of the emphasis on temperament in breeding, they do get the very tractable/highly bonded whers they're after, and 'Daggerjaw Whers' become especially prized. There are other lines, since the Pern folks are beginning to breed them again as well, and may sell/trade eggs offworld.

Solos needed to get Zhiji's Pern s**t up to date!:

Arrival of Virkath's group
Virkath's Flight
Anshidheth's Flight
Weyrleadership drama (B'ram doesn't want it, Zhiji decrees Set'al will remain Weyrleader)
Rio needs halp, make alliance
Virkath's Flight
grumble grumble purist grumble
Virkath's Clutch
grumble grumble purist grumble
Anshidheth's Flight, FIGHT WITH VIRKATH
will no longer tolerate Bikra and her purists. Heads to Pern briefly (but unwilling to stay away long), then sends a pair back to scout and see if anywhere is habitable.
Not willing to give Bikra or J'lah power - will send Ione and Anshidheth to lead, along with other progressive but 'pure' pairs to balance out the number of crabby traditionalists. Set'al retires, transition to Daggerjaw Weyr-Temple begins. CURRENT DAY WOO.
