The Faktori is on strike! Seriously we'll consider adding more items as we move features from flash to HTML5. Unfortunately, until then, there won't be new furnitures.

We actually fixed the bug with avi builder and we shouldn't need to turn it off. Turns out some staff didn't know about the fix, so we need to fix the mis-communication.

We know that we're behind on them, so we won't be taking action on the tickets in peoples inventories until we're caught up. Within the next few days you should start getting replies back to the e-mails. Sorry about the delay!

I have some high priority stuff to add and fix, from core features like Gaia Mobile support to simple stuff like item tagging. Hopefully between the big tasks I can slip in some time to figure out why card granting is broken

We're moving to stop selling gift cards when we have tiers, we currently don't have any plans to introduce any tiers at the moment outside of any diamond tickets that are redeemed.

They're not discontinuing in a few hours, we've actually came to the conclusion to discontinue them two weeks ago. sweatdrop
We're still struggling financially but we hope to do better by introducing fun features and creative ideas, instead of any short sighted tactics.
There is that feature to buy marketplace stuff with GC but I don't think it's being used much. I'll check it out later.

btw....the other day we had the theme of orignal characters, which was a themes that we have not seen in a long time. the participation was super high! it would be great to get new themes so we could have a continued higher participation in the runway and more energy and happiness in regards to the runway feature! whee

We're putting together mods to help handle this, now that the engineering side is done. Hopefully we'll see new themes next week!

So... About joining SCAS. Way back when, I think last year or was it 2015(?), there was an open application period to join the SCAS group. Zero said everyone would get an email back accepted or rejected. I never got my email of either one. gonk

The old one is in flash, but we are building a mobile version in HTML5 so that will be the gold standard moving forward. We'll make sure the new one works much better than the old.

Yeah, we're sorry, it's been wildly busy here. We're not going to do anything with the existing merch tickets until we make sure we've gotten back to everyone first. We'll have an update for when we plan to soulbind everything and start handing out gift cards once we get back to anyone who got to us before the actual deadline.

Last month, Gaia staff addressed that they would find a way to isolate the Kindred hacker. And few weeks ago, the community had got affected by the Kindred hacker for the umpteenth time. Can't you just IP ban that user?
I'm aware that doing that will affect few who are in that area, but it's ridiculous that she keeps coming in every other month to cause chaos among us.

Unfortunately IP bans aren't really effective as nowadays it is absurdly easy to access the site with a new IP. We are taking a look into what exactly is happening as simply banning the user won't fix the issue, and we've addressed some of our existing policies with regards to this specific situation so the userbase won't be as affected by this person's actions.

I know that the front page was just updated the other day but there is a thread full of feedback about it in the GCD which calls for more diversity for the avatars. There is only one little Paw, maybe on fantasy skin wearing avatar, no monster/alien avatars and only a few males. It looks like someone simply went through their friends list and picked all the "cute" avatars but Gaia is sooooo much more than that.

I'm sorry, I just received word that we cannot release a golden fragment formula because of the current backlog in the golden tickets. If we reach the point of emptying out the current wait line, then maybe. But for now, unfortunately the answer is no. Previous management made some decisions that unfortunately we cannot carry today.

Yes there are still some users who are experiencing problems with the inventory arranger, and it'll take some more efffort for me to fix. On top of that, we're also building the mobile version which should also work better. Just gotta get his zOMG stuff done then I can go back to fixing bugs.

Can the small ads on mobile browsers please be removed? Not the ones on the sidebare or up under the header. The new ones, that are at the bottom. They flicker making it hard to hit the little x to get rid of them, and even when that x is hit, there's a floating and flickering ad dongle. These new ads make mobile viewing of the site very hard, as zooming in also zooms the ad or the remaining ad dongle.
I don't mind a 3rd ad being put onto each page, but please for the love of god not one of these floating ads that disrupt site usage.

When I asked about the proper channel for contesting post/thread deletions, I was told that it should go through the ticket system and that I have to file appeals under the "Account Bans" category. Can we have a separate category for them? Not all instances of post/thread deletions come with a ban, and all subcategories under the "Account Bans" category mention scenarios that involve bans.

We likely won't ever implement a "post deletion" section because we rarely, if ever, get tickets about anything remotely related to them. We'd probably be more likely to add an "other" section for anything that the main sections miss.

I was unable to get to the Alchemy page for a super long time. I was told months ago that it was because I had too many alchemy components. So I gifted them all away to people in many trades (lol!). I've still been unable to go to the Alchemy page, so today I finally decided to post again about it in the bug forum. A kind person told me it's because I had no Alchemy recipe.
I think this is the most illogical thing I have ever heard of. Once I bought a recipe, the page loaded in a snap. Idk if it was just me, but uh- maybe someone should check to make sure it's not happening for new users and all. Because if I hadn't known to ask and stuff, I would have thought it a broken feature (had I been a new user).

I was wondering if perhaps we might get some kind of crossover to help better incorporate ZOMG into the other features of the site. I mean, we can't rely on nostalgia alone for it to survive and thrive!
I was wondering if we could get some kind of crossover. Say, when playing ZOMG or LK, the monster (or kins) could drop recipes. These recipes would need ZOMG items or LK eggs or something. And we could use alchemy to craft kins for LK or companion animals for ZOMG.
But it's just a thought/suggestion. I would just love to see a crossover where we can have our ZOMG friends in LK and vice-versa!

Unfortunately zOMG is a BIG game with lots of very specialized tools and technology that exist only in Flash. I don't think we have the resources to add much to zOMG for the time being. If we can have more staff members then we might have a chance of adding content for the game.

Will the site have any major updates in the future? (I.E. Removal or Addition to Car, Aquarium, House, Marriage, Etc. features) If not, could you reconsider adding new things to these topics?
As we update features one by one, it'll be a fact that all other features will sit on the waiting list. There is a priority on what features will be updated earlier than others, but that all depends on what Gaians vote for.
Though for the time being, we still have a few big issues to tackle and fix. I hope we'll get to that point soon.
