History: Seven doesn’t know exactly where he was born or his ethnicity (though he calls Ventiaus home) due to the fact he was supposedly born amongst a tribe of wandering bandits. It’s ‘supposedly’, since according to the orphanage matron who told him, the bandits were caught by Ventiaus soldiers and executed when Seven was too young to remember them, leaving the child in the care of a Ventiaus orphanage. Seven doesn’t even know why he has such a stupid name. At the time the orphanage was underfunded and over crowded, leaving the matrons little time to care for each child, thus Seven’s early childhood was spent without adult supervision roaming the streets of Serdio. It was during this time that Seven learned from other street children how to pickpocket, climb vertical surfaces easily and act innocent when trouble came around. After a while (and after the orphanage kicked him out) Seven noticed how much better he was at these things than other street rats his age, even those older than him. Members of the local criminal underworld noticed his skills and began hiring him for various jobs. By the time he was 9, Seven knew the ins and outs of the underworld rather well and received training in other criminal arts from his seniors. Using those skills he began to travel, first as a simple courier for crime organizations, up to smuggling illegal goods. But his true passion and profession was thievery, cat burglary in particular. Seven continued to hone those skills, along with learning how to fight with hook swords. It was during his travels that Seven saved a baby monkey from a hyena, and they instantly made a connection soon becoming inseparable. He named the female monkey Moko and taught her how to entertain crowds while stealing people's valuables. Together they travel Larcasia robbing people of their belongings.
Personality: Seven only cares about three things, Moko, himself, and money. He grew up in poverty while watching other people lavish themselves with the money they make, causing the young man to grow jealous and happy to rid them of their belongings. His reasons for being a criminal isn’t because he has no choice, though being illiterate doesn’t help, it’s mostly because he enjoys the thrill of a heist. He likes to think of himself as horribly selfish and greedy, and really was until he met Moko. The monkey acts as his moral compass and Seven loves her more than anything else in the world because she was the first being to love him. While he still doesn't have faith or trust in other human beings, Seven has become more sympathetic to those living the hard life and now only steals from the rich. He feels as if he’s giving back to the poor by legally buying their goods, thus contributing to the economy, but is mostly just kidding himself. When talking to other people he has a cheerful personality, and ever since Moko came into his life he has been happier, but is usually just snarky. He lets his lack of trust in others and willingness to crime, because at this point he doesn’t believe he can do anything else, define who he is. His only long-term goal is to earn enough monkey to buy an island where he and Moko can live happily, away from others.
