[The following takes place in a ballroom annexing the Las Vegas Arena prior to showtime. Characters are free to come in and answer questions for reporters for the sake of developing themselves, their feuds,or matches.]

Drako is never one to turn down a press conference. The Soaring Dragon walks in first, wearing a black leather jacket over his usual attire. The second generation Damone family member has his usual smile on his face and is ready for some questions.

"Looks like I get to kick this all off. So, we'll start with this guy here in the front row with the tie and the glasses. Good God, is that Clark Kent?"

The reporter stands and adjusts his tie awkwardly. "Mr. Damone...."

"Just call me Drako. Gets really confusing if you call me Mr. Damone. That's really more of my brother's title."

"Ah, yes, Drako, the first and most obvious question is what brings you to BSW and will any of the other Damone family members be coming along after you?"

Drako refrains from rolling his eyes. "Ok, I suppose that's fair. I have a title after all and when I show up one of the others tends to follow. For now, however, I'm the only Damone currently signed to BSW. As for why I'm here, isn't that obvious? I'm here to steal the show and take some titles. That's kinda my thing. I have a fondness for gold and the older I get the more I like it. Next question."

more hands go up and Drako picks a female reporter this time.

"What are your thoughts for your opponent announced earlier, Omen?"

Drako's grin dims noticeably. "Well, you sure didn't waste any time. Look, the fact is, I'm in an uphill battle against a monster unlike any other. My brother is a monster, and I've fought him tooth and nail at times. I've fought both of my older brothers and no one hits quite as hard as they do. But this guy Omen is different. This is a guy that has done what no one else has ever done to Jarel. He hung him from his own symbol. That's a sight I can't forget, and even though my brother got his vengeance for it, that's the type of person I have to step into the ring with in my first match in this company."

Reporter: So do you have a plan going into the match or are you just hoping to more or less survive? Omen is bigger and stronger, and possibly more dangerous based off your own summary of what he's done.

Drako smirks at that. "Look here, lady, I don't back down from anyone. You don't go into a match with a mindset of just wanting to survive. I don't care how big he is or how bad he is, I'm going to kick his teeth down his throat. This isn't about any personal vendetta either. This is about me and my goal. See, if you want to stand at the top, you have to beat whoever is in your path. The boss decided to find the biggest guy he could and throw him at me. That works for me. We'll just add a new nickname to the growing list. You all know me as the Soaring Dragon and the Harbringer of Destruction. Add Giant Killer to the list because tonight at Bloodshed, I'm going to do in one go what my brother took three tries to do. There couldn't be a more appropriate name for tonight. Tonight there will definitely be blood, and a lot of it might be mine. But when it's all done, Omen is ending the night looking up at the lights watching me soar past him in my quest for some gold. And I might even stop and dance a bit along the way."

Drako steps-off the stage to allow another man on to it. The reporters sound surprised a man with an acoustic guitar jumps on to the stage, is back to them all.

???: "LAAAAAADIEEEEES AAAAAAND GEEEENTLEEEEMEEEEN!"

He waits for a moment for cheers and applause but instead hears nothing but silence.

???: "ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!"

...

???: "I SAID, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!"

One Lad: "I AM!"

???: "THEN ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF! MY NAME IS GAAAARYYYYYY GUUUUITAAAAR!"

The man swings his body around to reveal himself in all of his Rock God awesomeness. He is wearing an all-white costume, which one would assume to mean he is a man of purity, despite his rock and roll lifestyle.

GG: "I AM HERE TO BLOW YOUR MINDS WITH A FAMILY FRIENDLY AND NICE SONG CALLED CIGARO BY SYSTEM OF A DOWN! ENJOY!"

Gary Guitar begins to play his acoustic guitar, the reporters unsure about what is going on, looking at each other with confused looks on their faces.

Reporter: "Who let this fan on to the stage and why hasn't security dealt with him?!"

Some Other Reporter: "Let's enjoy the song and see where this goes..."

GG: "MY CAAAAWK IS MUCH BIGGER THAN YOOOOURS!"

Oh my goodness! The reporters are disgusted by the start of this supposedly nice song. Damn liberal media! They begin to boo this mans foul language.

GG: "MY CAAAAWK CAN WALK RIGHT THROUGH THE DOOOOOOOR!"

Suddenly, the boos turn to cheers of love and affection as the legendary Cartwright swaggers on to the stage. He pats Gary on the back, which appears to be his sign to leave. Cartwright stands on the stage alone as he looks at all the reporters in the room.

Cartwright: "Let's give a thank you to my personal rock star, Gary Guitar!"

Cartwright is able to get the formerly hostile reporters to applaud Gary's work, The Extraordinary Englishman sure knows how to win people over.

Cartwright: "Gimme your questions, that's what I'm here for!"

Clark Kent Wannabe: "Cartwright, what was that we all just witnessed?!"

Cartwright looks surprised that the nerdy-looking but strangely buff bloke thought what just happened was odd.

Cartwright: "Have you never had a personal rock star before?! Oh man, you haven't lived until you have someone play your theme music live before an important meeting or appearance! You people don't recognise Gary Guitar?! He was the lead singer in the rock band Rockzilla! I loved that band! It's a huge honor to have him play for me! We've known each other for a long time but he's kinda blown all his cash, so I offered to help him out in this most creative and innovative way! I'm such a good guy!"

The reporters applaud and cheer Cartwright for his good deed. He is just so loveable, so good, so nice, so kind and so honest.

Female Reporter: "Cartwright, what is it that brings your sexy self to Blood Sport Wrestling?!"

Cartwright points and winks at the female reporter. Wow, he is so smooth.

Cartwright: "What brings me to Blood Sport Wrestling is my hunger for competition! You see, other promotions out there have a glass ceiling at the moment which prevents those who deserve to be at the top of the card from being there, while keeping people who do not deserve to be at the top of the card up there! I don't need to name names, I'm sure that you are all aware! It is an unfair practice, it is anti-competition and I think it sucks! BSW has promised me no glass ceilings, BSW has promised to be fair and that's why I am here! I want to test myself here in BSW! I want to find out just how good I really am in a neutral, unbiased setting!"

Applause is heard for Cartwright's statement, these SJW cucks love this kind of thing.

Some Other Reporter: "At this moment in time, nobody knows who your opponent in the Main Event will be. Does it annoy you to be left in this situation when everyone else booked for the show knows what they are up against?!"

Cartwright: "It seems like a good start, a promotion that promises to be fair but then keeps one wrestlers opponent a secret! Maybe BSW couldn't find an opponent in time for me! Maybe everyone was scared of facing me! Maybe people don't like to be in the Main Event of the first BSW show of 2017! You'd have to ask everyone else about that! I'm willing to give BSW a chance here! It raises my hopes that the surprise opponent will be a huge name in the wrestling world! I don't care who BSW has booked me with, I plan to steal the show just like I always do and find a way to win! The fact that it is a surprise will put my skills to the test as I will have to rely on my own ability to defeat this opponent!"

Another Reporter: "What do you think of the BSW Division Rankings idea?!"

Cartwright: "I love it! It's a way to transparently show where the wrestlers are placed based on their ability to win and you can't get more competitive and fair than that! I hope that after my Main Event victory tonight, I will be at the top of the BSW World Championship rankings and on my way towards competing for the vacant BSW World Championship!"

"I'm glad you like them." Salem said, sauntering onto the stage with a microphone of his own. Being the boss had its privileges, among which were the luxury of tailor made suits like the one he currently wore, a snappy red-under-black affair, but also the ability to produce a live microphone at will. Standing with a smile next to Cartwright at the podium, Salem flashed a winning grin for the audience of reporters, now more enthusiastic by the arrival of the owner. Eager hands shot up, Salem opting not to follow up on his comment to Cartwright in lieu of calling on a cute blonde near the front row.

"Mr. Croft - why the decision to reopen Blood Sport Wrestling?"

"Good question. As I've learned through out my career - usually to my misfortune, but otherwise as of late - is that timing is everything. The best laid plans go to waste if not executed properly, efficiently. I've had a lot of grandiose schemes I've tried to pull off at one time or another, reinventions of myself that didn't quite go the way I wanted. Sometimes it was too ambitious a challenge, other times my heart or time just wasn't into it. But you could say a perfect storm of heart, time, and ambition brought me to open the doors back up. I've seen people held back too much lately. I've watched people who don't deserve their opportunities squander them or be ungrateful for it. I've seen other companies take their talent for granted. So it hit me - make a place where the talent speaks for itself. No politics, no bullshit - people come here and strive to be the best and can appreciate the belt they hold because they know they earned it. They know they deserved it. They didn't kiss anyone's a**, they didn't have to make any deals, and they damn sure didn't have to be in management to get where they got. They did it through hard work, something I'm thinking is sorely lacking around here. And I know, that's really something coming from me. I know somewhere Matt Shanahan is rolling his eyes right now. But facts are facts, and whether I'm one to talk doesn't change the fact people are less motivated to be here - largely for reasons they can't control. So I'm doing something about it. I'm making a place where you can go as high as you're willing to work, and know what you're doing means something. I want to bring back the heart and soul of this industry again by reinvigorating that fighting spirit, that competitive edge that brought us all together in the first place."

Satisfied, the young lady smiled and nodded, taking her seat as Salem called on a grey fox of a man towards the middle of the gathering.

"Salem - Cartwright has been quite vocal about his suspicions regarding the mystery opponent you have scheduled for him in the main event. Care to shed any light on this unknown competitor or why you decided to keep them a secret?"

"Of course. I'll tell you who it is right now."

"Oh, really? Who is it, then?"

"It's a secret. Salem said straightforward, his wry joke drawing a few laughs from the crowd. "And I made it a secret because I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to book him. He's a really hot commodity right now, someone I think people would love to see compete in BSW, but he's not an easy man to reach at the moment and I wasn't going to sign off on anything until I was sure. But I promise, Cartwright - and our faithful fans - will not be disappointed."
