Osiris was born into a noble family alongside his twin sister, Isis. The two were inseparable from birth, constantly doing anything and everything they possible could together. Even as they were learning to walk and talk and being potty trained, they did it all together, hand in hand. They even went through their shifting trials together, having to figure out how to control it and what to do when fully shifted. It’s easy to say that the two were best friends from the beginning, and they would be part of one another’s lives for as long as possible. It wasn’t long before Osiris learned what loyalty was. In his eyes, Isis did no wrong; anything she said or did, he was backing her up one hundred percent, just as she did the same with him.
Osiris’ parents were strict, keeping the kids busy on schedules that worked day to day. Whatever time was allotted for the kids to play, they took advantage of it by playing tag or playing with toys or whatever. Since he and his sister were close, and since their parents didn’t exactly spend a whole lot of time with them, they spent most of their free time together instead of around others. This effected Osiris in keeping his social interactions with other children outside of his family limited. That being said, with the type of personalities that the members of his family had, he didn’t learn how to deal with different personality styles as easily. This caused him to now take people at their literal words for the most part, as he doesn’t always understand when they are being sarcastic or if they are hiding something. Mostly, his parents never tried to hide whatever good or bad news they had, and his sister was honest with him just as he was with her, so there was no need to try to decode the way someone was feeling or what they were thinking. That isn’t so true now, because not everyone is as open as they were, so it creates some confusion for him.
When Osiris and Isis hit their teenage years, they grew even closer. In fact, they grew a little too close. Isis went through puberty before he did, but once they were around 15 years old… well, things got a little intense. Without going into detail, let’s just say they experimented a few times out of blatant curiosity. The only problem with that is it stopped being curiosity after the first few times, and eventually turned into full-blown intentional pleasure seeking. They got away with it for a couple of years, but it wasn’t long before their father walked in on something he probably shouldn’t have.
Osiris received quite an a** beating that day. By the end of the night, he had bruises all over him, broken bones, and had just lost his family. He was kicked out onto the street, and his family moved away not long after. Isis and Osiris were supposed to be married to different families when they hit 18, but now? Well, now that was ruined, so how could they stay there? Where it happened? Despite their attempts to keep the incident quiet as to why Osiris was kicked out and why they left, the information passed onto the public. Granted, the kingdom was big, and not everyone knew, but anyone that grew up in the general area of where they were… well, they likely knew at the time.
Living on the street wasn’t easy. Living on the street with a past like his was even worse. People denied giving him money mostly, so he resorted to stealing. But a few years down the line, an older farmer took him in despite his past. The man was growing old, had no family, and needed help on the farm. He could no longer do the work he needed to do, so hiring someone to help was his only option. Osiris just happened to be the one needing the most help that he knew of, so why not give him a chance? The man taught Osiris everything he knew, and years down the line, he passed away. The farm was given to Osiris, as he was the one who helped the man for a few years.
Osiris lives with not knowing where his sister is, whether she was taken out of the kingdom or moved to the opposite end. He hasn't seen her since his family left, though he feels completely empty inside without her.
Now, Osiris works on the farm with no family or friends. The only thing he has now is himself, his farm, and his dog.
