I am in a musical review at my university. I am performing in several numbers but the two songs that I have solo parts in are as follows: Lily St. Regis in Easy Street, and Roxie Hart in Both Reached for the Gun.

Now we are doing a run through with make-up tomorrow and I just can't find the right look to go with for each character. If any one has pictures with ideas I could really use them.

PLEASE HELP!!!!! eek eek eek

The way I understand it, Lilly is fashionable 20's (if a bit naive.) You might want to go for something like this:

I suppose the same goes for Roxie, although for that, you may want to go a bit more modern.

tightly curled hair for both of them. Roxie is known for her peroxide blond hair, but I don't know if that's going to be possible.

Think 20s flapper. Haahahaha. As said, that picture is pretty good only Roxie may be more "vamp" than "flapper".

Ooh! And if you can find anybody that can do finger waves, that would be a huge plus. If not, yeah, go with the curls, but finger waves would have been a fashionable thing to do in the 30's.

Could beat them both and go with red (Gwen Verdon was the original Roxie Hart [original Roxie monologue line: "'Gangland's Al Capelli sighed with cute, redheaded corrine'. That was me."], had a vehicle musical written for her entitled "Redhead").
