So lately, i've not been very *ahem* religious. I still believe all the tenents of the wiccan rede, but i'm not really believing the whole SPELLS, MAGIC, ETC! bit of it, so i guess i'm on the fence. i thought it'd be intresting to see, who else is in my situation, and how other people feel/

I've been in that situation before, and it's simply led me to add other aspects of other religions (Buddhism) into my own.
Just keep searching, you'll be alright.

If you don't believe in the magickal aspect of wicca, then I'd say you are just pagan. And when I say just, I don't mean that in a bad way at all.
As I'm sure you're all ready aware, not all pagans are wiccans, but all wiccans are pagan.

Well Wicca isn;t really focussed on the craft more on the lifestyle so, yea. P.s.-Remember that Wicca isn't about strict rules so you can add some variety.

Keep searching and researching stuff, till you find what works best for you. Or you should come up here to visit me next time you have a break and I will take you to one of our circle meetings here. OO we just got a new off campus ritual space and just picked out our maypole for this year!

I struggled with my religious identity for a long time, until it hit me that I don't have to conform to a damn thing. xD
I gave up trying so hard to 'be' a specific religion, and suddenly everything became more simple. Things kind of fell into place by itself. Good ol' synchronicity. ^^ I was able to rediscover my spiritual heritage, Hinduism, and the path of Shaktism.
I started being more curious about religion when I was fourteen. I'm twenty now. It took me six years to figure out that Wicca was not exactly the path for me, but that it did have certain truths.
( Oh Ivy, your circle meeting sounds fun! whee )

Just to ask some questions to get you thinking... what is it about magic that you can't believe in? There are many ways of defining magic and many ways of looking at what spells are, so I feel some clarification might be useful for us and for you.

Magick comes in all shapes and forms, and you don't always need spells to get in touch with it. In my beliefs, the Earth is magick all in itself. Just spend some time outdoors, you'll see what I mean.
