Civilian and Scientific, and Military Officers not on the front line are given color-titles based on their profession.
Currency: The Barons accept all forms of currency, but the Imperial Credit has the most use so far.

Founding: August 7th, 3470.
Brief History: For the longest time, the notion that the Barons even existed was met with the same degree of agreement as saying Santa Clause or the Tooth Fairy were among us as well. It suited them just fine. Leaving the territory of the Solarian Empire in the year 3208, for reasons forgotten by time, a massive group of people ventured forth into the great unknown, not to be heard from for more than sixty years. They had claimed a lush, fertile planet, naming it Oasis, after the long, restless trek they undertook. For a few hundred years, trade between Oasis and the Empire became the norm. The planet was teeming with resources coveted by many.
This would lead to the annihilation of Oasis, unfortunately. Pirates of all colors across the cosmos, along with envious nations, had heard of this planet of near-limitless treasures. By the time friendly nations had caught wind of the attack, it was too late. Rescue ships would only find devastation. A dying planet rocked to the core by war. The survivors had left their home in the year 3470, and fled to the stars once again, this time cutting ties with any nation, living in nomadic isolation. This led to people believing they just died out.
No one thought as much when the news became abundantly clear in the year 4632 when someone was tearing through the Pirate numbers in the Fringes of known space at such an alarming rate, using unorthodox weaponry. Not long after, the Barons of the Void announced their existence and intentions to the galaxy. The blood of the corrupt was due.
Major Historical events:
3208- Mass exodus of Solarian explorers venture out to make their own nation.
3268- Nation of Oasis founded, begins trade routes with the Empire.
3470- Oasis burns due to Pirate attacks backed by hostile nations; Barons are first formed as they evacuate out of sight and go further into space.
~4000- Something is found that gives them inspiration to create mechanical suits of mobile armor for utility purposes, but for war as well. Prolonged lifetimes in space has led to them being more effective with reduced-to-zero gravity than anyone else.
4632- Weiss makes change in leadership of the Barons, bringing them out of isolation and bringing the full might of their newly found spacenoid technology down upon the Fringe Pirates; Economic boom from other nations requiring assistance.
