Shinken growled angrily as Takera retreated. Michio was right in his assessment. The man was a bloody coward. That's why he had killed so many of his own men. because he was afraid. The young Uchiha pulled out a little black book and scribbled something into it before marching himself over to the battle field. When he found the Irikura chief's son he slowly and carefully lifted the body and carried it over to the Steps of the Citadel. After which he walked over to where the bishop was and unceremoniously removed the man's head. As he arrived at the son's body Shinken began to speak.

"I am sorry I could not save you, but I have avenged you. I will leave these here with you so that your father will know you did not die in vein, and that you died a warrior's death. Changing the fate of your people." The young genin said as he placed the head next to the son and the bloody blade that killed him on the dead man's lap. At the head of all of the carnage sat the body of the son, kneeling at the steps with the bishop's head in his hands. That was all Shinken could do for the Irikura now, and so he left, knowing that he had another name added to the list of people he had to kill. That general had to die, and one day he would.
