[Planet Karta - Southwest Galaxy, Universe 7]

Long ago, on a satellite planet of Karta, there was a grand palace built of sheer white stone which was the dwelling of Lord Manda, God of the 7th Universe. Such opulence wasn't really the way of the God of Citadels, as he was known, but the subjects who had become aware of his existence, through hard work and dedication, built him this palace as a means of showing their gratitude for the hardy, indomitable universe that he had ruled over for them over years beyond their own count...ages, truly. But stone, as it turned out, was flimsy...at least, it was to Lord Manda...and after settling in the castle for an age it was said that a great cataclysm struck the planet when the Stone Palace was shattered by a single annoyed strike of the Lord's fist upon the dinner battle. More than that, however, it was said that the planet itself was reduced to little more than space dust...and so, homeless for the time being, the residents of Planet Karta itself invited their Lord to dwell among them and live in the sky above them. So it was that the people of Karta gathered as much Diamond as they could...one of the hardest materials found on their planet...and with that they forged a great and simple palace over the castle of their own King upon a mass of land that had always inexplicably hovered among the clouds.

There, in the Diamond Palace, Lord Manda then settled in contentment...and the people of Universe 7 continued to live their hardy lifestyle in the shadow of their mighty God.

...Or so the stories go.

The truth, however, is unknown, but the Diamond Palace still stands above the capitol of Planet Karta's greatest Kingdom upon that hovering block of Earth. It is simple yet opulent, beautiful yet sturdy, and best of all, the fact that it is in the sky makes the possibility of constant visits from supplicants seeking his blessing much less likely unless said resident possesses a pair of wings. Here, he can reside and observe the 7th Universe all around him form his seat in the Southwest Galaxy...and give guidance and training to those great few who prove worthy of his true strength and wisdom.
