Deep Blue - The name of the large body of water that surrounds Dinotopia
High Teeth - These are the mountains in the center of the continent, also sometimes called Cold Teeth. These mountains are often a place where flying dinos will come to nest.
Long Sands - A long stretch on the western side of the continent where dinos go to sun themselves and play in the water. Also a place were Land dinos come to meet the aquatic ones that live around the island.
Dactyl ridge - The name of the northern peninsula which consists of high cliffs which look over the Deep Blue. Often pterodactyls are nesting or perching upon these cliffs.
Treestar Forest - Name of the northern forest home to many longnecks.
