Since she was still recovering there was little for her to do so Fallon thought that she would try her hand at sewing. Of course she knew how to sew but she wanted to make something that she could give to the poor. It took her some time to come up with an idea of what to make that wasn't too simple or too complicated. What she came to was the idea of making a pair of pants. It didn't seem too difficult.
So the young priestess in training had set about getting the supplies that she needed before she found a spacious place to start her work. With limited movement in her arm it was a bit difficult to spread the fabric but she managed that well enough. What she really had issues with was holding it down while cutting. Her range of movement wasn't quite long enough to make one continuous cut so she had to stop and reposition before going farther. That made her cut line a bit jagged and uneven. It looked a little funny but she shrugged her shoulders.
When it was sewn together then it wouldn't matter right? Fallon moved the fabric down so that she could then get a needle and thread. All she had to do now was put the thread through the eye and she could get to work. Sadly that seemed to evade her. She couldn't get end to go through and the more she tried the more it frayed. Even though she was supposed to have the patience of a saint she was getting more and more frustrated with it as time passed. By the time she finally managed to get the falling apart thread through she had shifted the needle in her hand and poked herself in the finger. With a yelp she dropped the needle and as it fell she lost sight of it. Blinking Fallon frowned. With no needle she wouldn't be able to sew. So much for this project.
