As Fang and Howl entered the library, he spoke allowed, "Exit now. I will speak with the Weapon alone." Scurrying as quickly as possible, some of the chunin who were there had tripped at the entrance. Many feared the Kazekage when he required privacy. As they exited and Howl was inside, the entrance was sealed and a barrier erected from the outside on four sides. What was about to transpire here would not be spoken of. In fact, it never happened, at least that was what the shinobi here understood.

Passing into the furthest most restricted point of the library, Fang returned with a very dusty and regal-looking scroll. Something fundamentally different from the typical scrolls for jutsu. It was sealed with a powerful sealing technique with a warning stating never to open it again. "In this scroll contains your birthright. When you are finished with it, bring it back to me so I can make it disappear." Approaching Howl, he placed the scroll into his hands, snapping his finger as the seal was broken and the scroll would unfurl revealing the knowledge of Shukaku and its powers. Fang found a secluded space away from him and entered a meditative pose.

The first scroll held a technique he found simplistic enough, even if he had his doubts about relying on the sand within his gourd. Still he wouldn't question the Kazekage and let the sand slowly slide from his gourd, imbuing his chakra in it before having it slide under his feet and lift him into the air. It was something similar to the much more difficult wind technique he had learned earlier. This time however it was more of a constant suspension above the ground, the sand beneath his feat causing him to float a good distance from the solid surface below him. He remained in this floating suspension for a few moments before slowly setting himself back onto the ground with the use of his sand. Something that might come in handy if he ever needed to avoid the ground beneath him he supposed. (1/1) Sabaku Fuyū [ Desert Suspension ]

Howl read through the first scroll, the more basic jutsu already over with. Still unsure of himself, not really fond of the idea of learning these techniques. It was a heavy burden to have this beast within him and use it's dark power. Using these techniques were like feeding it in a way. He didn't like it, but he knew coming closer to understanding and using the power of the monster would help him keep it suppressed and under his control. Without anything else to say he read through the technique and practiced the seals for it. (1/2)

It was simple enough, creating "shuriken" out of hardened sand. Although they were more like disks than actual shuriken. Howl started by molding his chakra infused sand into these disks and hardening them appropriately. He was capable of making five in total and it didn't take him very long to do so. Once they were all crafted he practiced maneuvering them. Sending them crashing into the wall in front of him and watching them crack and shatter back into sand. Once he was finished he recalled the sand to his person and began to scan the next scroll on his list. Two down already and three more to go it seemed, he was making good progress and had little problems with the techniques thus far. (2/2) Suna Shuriken [ Sand Shuriken ]

Reading through the next scroll it was asking much more of him than the previous two had done. It called for encasing someone or something in his sand and squeezing it tightly in order to severely injure. These were the secret techniques of the one tailed beast he carried. Serious enough for the Kazekage to condemn them all to secrecy and discretion. Howl took this to heart when practicing the hand motions for the next technique. Placing more chakra into his sand, a vast amount of it now carrying his chakra within. He began to wrap the sand around one of his four clones from the training grounds, unable to go any further for a moment. (1/2)

When he finally managed to swallow his fear and give in to the rest of the technique he let the sand grip itself around the clone. Surrounding it entirely and lifting it from the ground into the air, his hand motioning upwards as if mimicking it. Slowly but surely he hardened the sand, tightening the grip upon his clone. The clones muffled cries heard within as he tightened it further and further. However before he sustained enough damage to destroy the clone Howl relented and released the jutsu. As the sand dispersed the clone fell to the ground with obvious wounds, showing the deadliness of the technique he only half finished. Something he would hesitate to use in the future without a doubt. (2/2) Sabaku Kyū [ Desert Coffin ]

Quickly moving forward in his training his next technique was much less horrifying. All it called for from what he was reading was the dispersion of sand in a large area and using it to sense the presence of others. He set his clones out around the library to begin with. After they were hidden he performed the necessary hand seals and let his sand roam free within the library. Leaving himself stationary at the Kazekage's side he realized he could feel the entire room from his position thanks to the technique in use. His sand seeking out the clones restlessly as he remained still. (1/2)

His eyes closed, he could feel the floor, the walls, even the air. In a way he could see, or at the very least sense the entire area his sand was spread within. It didn't take him long to begin locating his clones. First one behind a book shelf, he tagged with sand creeping from the floor shelf itself. Second one on the second floor which he grazed with sand formed from the air. A third underneath a table nearby that he tugged at with sand from the floor. The fourth at the very far end of the library which he cornered with sand as well. Soon all of them regrouped and Howl moved on to the final technique. (2/2) Suna no Kanchi [ Sand Sensing ]

A clone technique was all that was left, however judging from what he was reading these sand clones were highly versatile in their use. It was a complicated technique however he had very little doubt in his mind. Howl knew he could accomplish it after learning something as tedious and chakra intensive as the shadow clone technique. He and his clones all began to use the necessary hand seals for the technique, the speed was moderate but the accuracy was there and before long all four plus Howl himself had all successfully completed the technique. (1/2)

When the dust settled his shadow clones had been replaced with four sand clones, each of them dispersing after creating one from themselves. However a fifth clone also stood before Howl and the Kazekage as this technique seemed to exceed the norm for clones and allow for an extra to be created as well. Howl held them for a time, allowing them to move around, even hit each other to demonstrate the ability they had to ground their opponents by swallowing up the fist and grappling them. After the small scrap between clones had finished Howl canceled them all and fell on his rear. Completely out of chakra and really feeling exhausted at this point. He was in dire need of some meditation and focus to regain himself. (2/2) Suna Bunshin no Jutsu [ Sand Clone Technique ]

Fang had almost finished regaining his chakra as he watched Howl learn those beautiful techniques. How he envisioned the sound of terror in all of those who watched as the sand would crush their teammates. Tailed-Beasts were beautiful creatures and he admired them deeply. Many would wonder why Fang chose Howl for such a vessel. His temperament was passive and he lacked many of the traits befitting of war. To Fang, however, he knew he had to pick someone who he could mold and develop.

An empty and lacking in direction genin like Howl was the perfect choice. And in a way, he could watch over his godson in this manner without revealing their connection. "I'll put this in a safe place." Fang spoke, taking the scroll and placing it back in the Kage's restricted area. They were done training for now. While Fang would have preferred simply drilling the boy in everything, humans simply are not machines. Instead, Fang would allow him time to rest and process what he had learned. "When you are done resting, I would like you to do some missions for the village. I'm sure you know where the board is." He closed his eyes as he continued meditating. Fang had important things to get back to.

Now that all the training was finished with it seemed as though Howl could finally catch his breath. He sluggishly collected himself and got in a comfortable position for meditation. Feeling rather grateful for some time to rest and reflect, meditation was something that came easily to Howl as he could never sleep and it was the closest thing he had to it. He kept his eyes closed and breathing steady, his concentration as remarkable as always. However this didn't stop him from responding to his superior as he rested and regained his strength. "Once I've recovered I'll handle a few of the lower ranking missions I can find on the board." as the Kazekage already knew, if it benefited the village then Howl would gladly do whatever he was told. Except perhaps kill another person, still he wouldn't shy away from fighting for the sake of his village despite his disliking violence as a whole. Ever since Shukkaku was sealed within him Howl had become slightly more willing to fight. Despite his willpower he couldn't fully contain something so malicious and powerful, bits and pieces of the beasts personality seemed to infect his own, even if only slightly. Still he was as reluctant as ever to harm others and would only do so if all other options were null. Incapacitating was all he knew as well, for as long as Howl was a shinobi he vowed not to kill despite knowing the foolishness of his own ideology.

"I've worked hard to reign in this beast after so many years, Lord Kazekage and I think it's time I returned to my life as a shinobi full force. I'd like to ask permission to join a squad underneath one of the jounin in our village, I don't want to be pent up here forever as some kind of pet project. I want to become stronger and do things to further improve the quality of life within Sunagakure and I think I can make a difference with the right people."

Howl spoke for a long time during his meditation, it was rare for him to speak in such a long winded way as he was usually curt and blunt in his way of talking to others. It seemed his incapacitation over the years had been weighing on him more than he let on and he was tired of remaining idle. He had more than proven himself today during their training and was eager to do more for the village and his people. He had been gone for two long years as he attempted to regain control over his own body and mind with this internal struggle between himself and the beast sealed within him. Finally he was confident enough to return however Howl knew he couldn't do much on his own, not without losing his humanity. He didn't know much of the other shinobi in his village, both genin and higher up. He had been very secluded since birth thanks to his father, and had only recently become more aware of the ninja way during his time learning to control and suppress the demon inside of him.

Fang smiled as Howl began talking of walking as one of the people. "You are not one of them anymore. You're never going to be like them." He approached Howl and pointed towards his stomach. A cruel grin forming on his countenance as his voice darkened into its true more sinister nature. "That inside you is all you are now. Do you... think they will accept you? Haha. That they will befriend you?" He started to laugh at Howl's words, the fool truly believed the village could accept him. "I have kept you in chains for this village's safety. If you fell asleep... Or if some master sealer unsealed it. Can you imagine the difference you would be making for them?" Once again he laughed at the thoughts that Howl was trying to propagate. He actually thought Fang was just going to let him reintegrate with full freedom in the village, possessing THAT? "Beautiful. You are simply magnificent. Splendid. Your arrogance knows no bounds... If I wasn't sure of you Howl, I would think I was looking at a reflection of myself." He contained himself, pausing for now as he stood back up.

"You must have mistaken my giving you that scroll for a softening of my heart. Come now, Howl. You know better." The Kazekage's eyes darkened. He told Howl the truth: "It doesn't matter how hard you train. How high you climb. How far you run. You will never be free of the weight of your burden." He continued, as he stood back up studying Howl, the young and naive Genin who did not know his role. "You can be on a squad. I'll even let you do missions. But you will never escape your reality as my weapon." It was true that Fang on some measure of things was borderline a control freak. When people added elements of things that he did not have calculated for it often caught him off-guard and irritated him. "You are a beautiful, cursed, wretched tool. A monstrous killing machine. Beautiful. Just keep eating, growing, and becoming the power I need you to be."

Howl sighed heavily toward the Kazekage as the man spoke to him. Being treated as though he was no longer human was a nuisance, and he wasn't sure he agreed with a lot that was being said. He remained in meditation while taking it all in. Howl had always heard that the Kazekage was cold and calculating, his possessiveness and cruelty seemed to be blossoming at the moment as well. It was a nuisance, the genin didn't like to feel as if he was being used, or at least not in the way that the Kazekage wished to abuse his power. He wouldn't become some destructive force, some kind of killing machine for the whims of a single man. He would only use the power bestowed upon him to protect those he cared about. Howl had worked incredibly hard to reign in the bloodthirsty tendencies of his tailed beast and he wouldn't lose to the lust of it all now. "I will never be your tool." he retorted, a blazing defiance in his eyes as he spoke, before he quickly shut them in order to further concentrate on his meditation. His breathing evened out as he began to block out the world around him, finally letting the words being spoken slip from his mind before he grew too weary of them all. Destroying the will of someone like Howl was not an easy task and the Kazekage would have much further to go before he could make remarks such as these to him. He was a shinobi, a human being, a member of Sunagakure. He wouldn't allow himself to be treated like a weapon or a tool devoid of basic rights and humanity. His superiors would come to learn this one way or another, whether it be the easy way or the hard one was up to them. He carried the burden of a tailed beast but it had never once weighed him down, he was willing to overcome it and use it to best serve his village. This didn't include the Kazekage and his own master plans, he only wished for the peace and protection of his people and cared not for the goals of the few within the ranks.

His defiance made Fang smile. The boy was like Fang in many ways. But, he could not show that he cared for him. He had to show a cold indifference because Howl needed to know that the world was cruel. That he was going to be treated like a monster for what was inside of him. "We will see." As his meditation had finished, Fang headed towards the entrance of the library. "Do not fail me, Howl-kun. If you do, you will know endless suffering." Fang had then headed to the training field. He had jutsu he needed to learn.

As the Kazekage made his exit the genin ignored his remarks, in fact since his earlier words he had been completely shutting out the world around him and focusing on his meditation. Although he never enjoyed being in his own mind, it was being occupied by something horrible in the form of the tailed beast and Howl always felt closer to the monster every time he was alone in deep thought. This particular way of regaining his chakra often seemed to channel the beast and bring it to the surface of his mind, waking it from deep slumber. In the darkness of his inner thought chambers he could see the dark sandy eyes of the beast, hear it's growls and bellows. The one tails was akin to a drunkard behind bars, the horrible noises he made were garbled and slurred, Howl made zero attempt in understanding what it was attempting to scream at him. Instead he stood there defiantly staring into the angered eyes of the sealed horror.

The monster he faced roared at him, unhappy with being stared down upon. The terror in its voice would've been enough to make most run in fear but Howl had been working on his temperament and his ability to handle the beast for years now. Despite their relationship being horrible he still had the beast tamed in a way. The one tails had it's pride as an ultimate defense and likewise couldn't let his host be killed due to his own death as well. He would always be forced to aid Howl whether he liked it or not. Still being in his presence caused the genin to become uneasy, he didn't like dwelling in his own head for long and decided to cut his meditation short. Just as those kicked out earlier began to funnel back inside Howl decided to make his exit, unsure of what to do next he begrudgingly wondered if he should follow his words from earlier and take on some missions for the Kazekage despite their confrontation near the end of his training.
