Biography
Rose was born to a single mother and had one older sister and was always a problematic child since early childhood. She would get in trouble constantly because of fights she would get into. Rose always had a temper which she's since learn to get under control, but its best not to push it. Because of all the fights she's gotten into, she eventually got expelled from every school in the area so she ended up dropping out of high school completely. Her mother urged her to find some way to get her anger under control. She tried anger management classes, but she ended up just storming out of them. She tried going to a shrink, but that usually ends with her telling them to go and screw themselves. She eventually found a (somewhat) safe outlet for her aggression. MMA fighting.
Rose started when she was 16 and immediately took a liking to the sport. She progressed fast to the point where she got her own private instructor at age 18. She fought in countless tournaments and won many of them to the point where she caught the eye of scouts looking for new fighters for the professional league. Needless to say, she agreed to go professional and was fighting in televised matches at age 22. Her fighter name was "Thorn" for obvious reasons and she enjoyed every minute she was in the ring. And when she wasn't, her friends and family noticed that she was a lot less aggressive and much more calm and under control which of course made them happy. For about 2 years, everything was great...until it wasn't.
She, her mother, and her older sister were driving home when their car was t-boned by a semi. Both Rose's mother and sister were killed and she was critically injured. She was taken to the hospital where they saved her life, however the accident left her paralysed from the neck down and thats how she lived for almost 6 months until she was contacted by a representative of LexCorp. He told her that the company wanted to test a new kind of robotic implant that, if it works, would grant her to ability to move again. Rose of course agreed since she had nothing to lose.
The operation went by smoothly. The doctors implanted the robotic implant in her calves, thighs, forearms, biceps, the base of her back, and base of her neck where her spinal cord was. All together, the operation lasted almost a day. When she woke up in the recovery room, she was ecstatic to discover that she had movements in her limbs again. Before she left, Rose got to meet Lex Luthor himself. He wanted to personally thank her for her selflessness on agreeing to be the first test of the new technology. It wasn't long until she was on a plane back home.
Now with her being able to move again, Rose was more than eager to get back into the ring. However during her first practice match with someone, when she threw her first punch, it sent her opponent flying across the room. She was lucky that she didn't kill him, because he suffered from a heavy amount of internal damage. She stayed after that day, trying to figure out what had happened. Every time Rose punched one of the heavy punching bags, it would either rupture or fly across the room. No amount of weight she lifted was ever heavy. The next morning, she tried to contact LexCorp and tell them that something is wrong with the implants, but she never could get through....(to be added later)
