I called the shelter to see how he was doing. The woman said he'd been adopted a month ago. I cried. So he has a family and a great Christmas! and another Jack Russel Terrier and two little girls to play with!!!
Why give him up? Mom was the alpha. I was the sister he could tease and frighten any time he wanted. We just stopped paying attention to his exercise needs and he got mean about it. Bit me three different times.(I would too) The good thing is the man of the family knows all about Jacks.
I cried when I heard this. He now has an active family who will love and care for him better then I could.
I found a dog bible in Barnes&Noble the other day.(Ginormous book-about $60)Tears got in my eyes reading over it. I miss my lover...but he's got the life he needs now. Able to go out and run crazy like he should.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for those you love is to give them a chance at a better lifestyle! I'm so happy for you and the sweet pup, I would be so relieved too!!
