Personality:

Jude, when first meeting others, appears to be a younger child. Roughly around the age of seven or eight. This is because he has a rare form of decreased developmental inertia, meaning that his body ages slower than normal, but his mind works just fine. He can talk, walk, think, and use his abilities the same as he would be able to if he looked his age. However, his condition has taken an effect on his personality. For example, rather than maturing, his childlike impression that he leaves on people has grown on him, so he often acts like a child. He's bubbly and sweet most of the time, but he is susceptible to the basic human emotions that encompass anger and sadness. Despite his childlike nature, Jude knows how to read a situation and can easily go from energetic to serious should it be necessary. He's also playful when it comes to training or battling. If he is confident in his ability to win, Jude will play with the opponent, teasing them along the way and taunting them. He finds it funny to watch them get frustrated. Jude was well known during his time at the academy for being a top tier strategist. He would approach a potential plan of attack by looking at it from multiple angles at once and within just a few moments he would be able to sort through the possibilities and select the best solution.

History:

Let's keep this short and sweet, shall we. Jude's history isn't all that interesting. He didn't grow up in a broken home, or bear witness to some unspeakable tragedy. In fact, the most interesting part of Jude's life has been his genetic conditions. He has two. The first condition, and the one that his parents noticed first, was heterochromia. To elaborate, his eyes aren't the same color. His right eye is a deep purple, and the left is a pale yellow that looks nearly grey. The second condition wasn't quite noticeable until a year or two after he was born. It doesn't have an official name, but it's effect causes Jude's to physically age at a slower rate than most people. His body, currently, looks to be about seven or eight years old. His actual age is twenty.

Jude was home schooled for most of his life, his parents being the ones to teach him how to read and right, and for the longest time, that worked fine. However, Jude began to develop an ability that had been passed down by his father. The ability in question is a unique form of photokinesis (Light Manipulation) in which the possessor is able to manipulate colors, rather than general light. This ability was never honed by his father. He didn't see much potential in the ability to only manipulate colors due to it's parent ability being much stronger and more versatile. Jude, on the other hand, decided to embark down the path that his father never traveled and once he was old enough, enrolled in the DWMA. While there, he trained with his ability to manipulate colors until he was able to use it in ways that his father never imagined, ways that baffled even his teachers.

Being a weapon, Jude did eventually find a partner who he teamed up with. His partner helped him achieve Death Scythe status; however, after graduating from the academy, she moved away. Jude stayed behind to assist Lord Death with the upkeep of the academy until he was given an official assignment. He has yet to find another partner, and instead has learned how to hold his own without a meister. After a few months of just roaming around the city, caring for small errors in day-to-day life and fixing minor damages, Jude has set his sights on being a teacher, deciding that the best way for him to benefit Lord Death would be by using his experiences at the academy and his own unique ability to show newer and older students that it doesn't matter how strange or useless their abilities may seem, and that effort and drive can lead to amazing results.

⊷ Chromakinesis 

The base ability for most of his techniques, Chromakinesis is the ability to manipulate color. This specific slot is used to cover the way that he is able to alter the color of anything he touches. For example: he could make the grass red instead of green, a red brick building could become blue, etc. This ability is quite useful when entering an undercover assignment, as he can change the color of his clothes, hair, eyes, and even his skin to look like a completely different person. This ability costs very little energy to actually use, and has basically no use in combat. However, he does have a mastery of this ability that is so profound that he can create pictures using different colors on a single surface. This ability requires permission from the creator of a character should Jude wish to change the color of another character regardless of what it would be that he changes.
 

⊷ Fade Out 

An advanced version of Color Manipulation that Jude developed and perfected, Fade Out is an ability in which Jude can drain color from a certain object or area in order to fuel a variety of attacks. After the color is drained, the area or object appears grey for a few moments before slowly regaining its color. These attacks are listed directly below. Each attack, regardless of the color drained, appears white with a rainbow gradient around its edges. The more color needed for the attack, the bigger the drain area, but also requires more energy to perform.

⊱ Bullet: Jude concentrates drained color into a small sphere that he aims at an opponent or target, causing the sphere to shoot forward at incredible speeds. This attack causes very little damage and is instead designed to knock the target off balance. Doesn't require much color.
⊱ Tantrum: The attack with the largest color requirement, as well as the most energy needed to perform, Tantrum is an attack in which Jude drains color from the entire topic, concentrates it into a single point on the ground below him, then stomps on it. This action causes the concentrated colors to explode outwardly as a shockwave, dealing massive damage to the terrain and heavy concussive damage to anyone within its range. However, this isn't an attack he can use whenever he wants. For some reason, Jude has only been able to successfully perform this attack whenever he is enraged.
⊱ Color Splash: This attack's color requirement varies, as does it's energy cost. Jude is able to absorb as much color as he feels he needs, then concentrates it on the side of his hand. By performing a slashing motion, the concentrated color rapidly flies outward with the same orientation as his hand. This attack, despite it's color base, has a sharp edge and can travel for roughly 10 meters before dissipating. The larger the amount of color used, the bigger and stronger this attack is.
 

⊷ Bleeding Paint 

By placing one of his palms over an injury found on another character and concentrating his soul wavelength within that one hand, Jude is able to use a very unique form of Color Manipulation where he drains away color from his own body and infuses it into the wavelength. This process causes the color to concentrate into a powerful but harmless light around the injured area. This light then slowly soaks into the persons body through the wound, without causing them pain, and begins to heal them. The more serious the wound(s), the more color from Jude's body required to heal them, with a higher energy cost. This ability seems to take a toll on Jude if he uses too much color from his body. In fact, if he is drained of even a fifth of all of his body's color, he becomes drowsy and lethargic.
 

⊷ Living Art 

These next two abilities are abilities that surprised and baffled Jude's teachers whenever he designed, executed, and perfected them. This specific ability is dubbed Living Art, due to it's effects. Jude or his partner (while Jude is in weapon form) draws a picture using Ink from his weapon form. This picture, whatever it may be, comes to life and takes on a three-dimensional shape. These creations can be given a unique consciousness of their own, or will carry out the will of their creator. This ability can be used both in and out of combat. For example, in combat, Jude or his partner could draw an image of a tiger and the image would come to life, bringing forth a tiger that will attack the opponent or opponents. Outside of combat, Jude or his partner could draw a carrier pigeon to send a note to someone far away. The images do not have to be exact. They do, however, need to be distinguishable as to what they are. Each creation, as it is brought to life, appears black and white. This ability is performed by combining color manipulation (on the ink) and his Bleeding Colors ability to give the drawing life. Overuse of this ability has the same drawbacks as his Bleeding Colors ability.
 

⊷ Magic Ink 

Similar to his Living Art ability, Magic Ink is an ability that begins by drawing Kanji in the air (the ink will float in the air while the kanji is being written) for different elements (these elements being Fire, water, wind, and light) and then slashing a line of ink through them using Jude's weapon form (can be used by both Jude and his partner). This action causes the ink to come to life, creating an effect that resembles the kanji written. Fire creates a powerful flamethrower that lasts for one post. Water summons forth a torrent of water that lasts for one post. Wind produces hurricane force gusts that last for one post. All three of those elements originate from the Kanji written to produce their effects. Light is the weird exception to that rule. When the kanji is slashed through, the ink balls itself into a little sphere that floats just above Jude or his partner's head and illuminates the area with an intense, but strangely not blinding light. The Kanji written to use this ability can have their effects combined by writing the different kanji all at once before drawing a singular slash through all the kanji written. The way they mix is as such:

Fire and Wind create a vortex of intense flames.
Water and Wind create a whirlpool that spirals outwards, catching objects and characters that are in it's path and carrying them away. This whirlpool, due to the water pressure, causes slight concussive damage if one is caught within.
Water and Fire create an explosion of steam immediately after the slash is performed, covering the area with thick water vapor to hinder vision.
 

⊷ Weapon Form: Seikatsu Brush 

Jude's weapon form is known as the Seikatsu Brush, a living paintbrush whose size depends on his partner. The brush, whenever Jude transforms, is exactly the same length as his partner, from bristle to end, and is as thin as their forearm. Regardless of the size, Jude's weapon form feels lightweight as long as their souls are compatible.
 

⊷ Full Weapon Manifestation 

Jude is capable of fully manifesting his weapon form to use on his own, however, his abilities aren't quite as powerful as they are when being wielded by a meister. Jude seems to be able to control the size that his weapon form manifests, as he has been seen manifesting it as a smaller brush in order to write things down from time to time.


⊷ Ink Manipulation  

An ability that he didn't have access to until his evolution into a Death Scythe, Jude is capable of creating Ink with his weapon form (from the bristles) without a limit to how much he is able to produce. However, it doesn't stop there. Jude is able to manipulate ink in such a way that creating a stroke or a splash of Ink with his weapon form, and nothing else, the ink will move rapidly on its own to form a picture or a kanji, improving Jude's Living Art and Magic Ink abilities.

⊱ Jude is a rare case where two genetic conditions inhabit one body. The first condition being a decreased aging rate, that causes his body to develop slower than normal; the other is heterochromia. One of his eyes is purple and the other is a pale yellow.
⊱ Due to the nature of Jude's abilities, he requires a light source in order to fight. Complete darkness is his weakness.

Okay, several things.

1. In order to make a Death Scythe you need permission from the Captain

2. The three sub abilities of your first ability are all abilities themselves and each one counts separately which gives you a total of 9 abilities. Fortunately, being able to turn your character into their Weapon form doesn't count as an ability; it's just a natural part of being a Weapon. So you can remove that which will bring your total back down to 8 allowing you to have the maximum amount of abilities.

3. Living art is way too powerful. Being able to create anything at all with paint gives you a massive advantage. You'll have to limit what you can create and how often you can create it.
