Personality: Straightforward honesty is the simplest word to describe him. Sam might not be the most dependable person around, but you can be sure of his honesty. He is almost always happy-go-lucky, as if nothing in the world can dampen his spirits. Mild-tempered, he is slow to anger and slow to pick up things as well, too.
History: Sam should have started his journey long ago. As to why he did not do so was that he had been on a constant move with his parents all around the world. He was born in Pallet town, but was barely there for a year when his parents then moved to Vermillion City, Celadon City, Saffron City and then Cinnabar Island before moving back to Pallet Town. His life has been quiet so far, nothing eventful, which made Sam slightly jealous of the other kids who had started out on their Pokemon adventure a lot sooner than he could. His parents knew that their son wants to go on an adventure, and when he was 14, his father resigned from his job and brought the family back to Pallet Town, where he opened a small bakery. Sam decided to stay for a while to study more on his favorite Pokemon type and help his father at the new bakery. Soon enough as time flies, two years had passed, and Sam was to leave on his journey for the first time. A short farewell dinner was held, where his mother passed him his updated PokeGear, while his father gave him a Net Ball, a gift for his son to catch his very own first Bug-type.
