Rules of Roleplay
I know there's quite a few of them but please read these before posting anything anywhere!

1. Please be active!
◆ We ask that you post at least once every week at the minimum.
◆ Please post here if you know you're going to be absent for longer than a week.

2. No god-modding or auto-hitting!
◆ You are in control of your character(s) and your character(s) alone.
◆ You cannot make a decision on what happens to someone else's character. For example, if you're fighting and you use your magic to send them into the air, you do NOT write that they come crashing down. That person's character may be a dragon slayer and decide to have their exceed to rescue them mid-drop.
◆ You cannot make a major plot line all about your character without asking a the captain or vice captain.

3. Posting order!
◆ Due to people living in different time zones, please assume in all threads that there is a posting order unless stated otherwise.
◆ The crew keep an eye on active threads and will contact anyone who hasn't posted for a while.

4. Plot lines, events and jobs are decided by the captain and crew!
HOWEVER...
◆ If you think of an idea for a job, post here.
◆ Anything else you have an idea for e.g. storyline or an event, post here

5. Third person, past tense!
◆ Please post in the third person. No 'I said', only 'he said'.
◆ Past tense because it seems to flow easier. No 'he says', only 'he said'.

6. Three is the limit!
◆ For now, the maximum number of characters a member can have is three. This makes it easier to keep track of storylines that you're part of.
◆ Try not to abandon a character, if you want to kill them off, discuss it with another member and let a crew member know it's intentional.
◆ More detailed rules for character creation can be found in the 'Pending Characters' sub-form.

7. No text talk!
◆ This is a semi to advanced lit guild so 't@lkin lyk dis' will get you a warning. A repeat offense will get you kicked.
◆ We don't expect you to be perfect but try to spell as best you can.

8. No one-liners!
◆ Replies should progress and enrich storylines, this requires more effort than a seven word sentence so at least a paragraph.

9. Keep bad language to a minimum!
◆ If your character must swear, keep it tame. If they're naturally foul-mouthed, don't be silly with it. Asterisk!

10. No naughty Business!
◆ Time skip it or take it to PM, please.
◆ Suggestive talk is ok as long as it's tame.

11. People are not their characters!
◆ Characters should have no reflection on the person writing them. Just because a character is stupid, doesn't make the writer stupid.

12. Crew membership cannot be begged for!
◆ You'll get a big fat no!

13. MOST IMPORTANTLY...
◆Have fun!
