Lex knew what he wanted to gift and had starting browsing etsy for the perfect bird related gift early in the holiday season. Because he could be a bit of a d**k, depending on how she would take being gift a pair of macaw earrings after turning into one of their larger breathing brethren. Which lead to a very, very long fight of subdue and not hurt the colorful bird. Lex would be fine if someone had gifted him anything otter related. Sid had not seem really overly upset, though he had been making sure she had cures so. Hun… well, still. After a lot of searching, he had settled on a pair of macaw earrings from miniblings on Etsy. The Macaws were simply adorable, and well he wasn't above a bit of teasing. And well, the birds where cute, bright, very, very detailed and went with Sid's choice of colors. Bright, colorful birds. He wrapped the earrings in candy stripped paper, tied it with a bow, and went to the Apollo dorm, hunkered into a leather coat, with a wool cap, boots, and gloves to protect from the Michigan weather. Lake effect snow. It was happening. It sucked, and sprawled out in blankets wet white blankets, and yeah, this was his least favorite season because of it. Hopeful Sid would like her gift. He stepped into the door, making sure to tap his boots to get off any slush before continuing. Apollo dorm was different, lots of marble and bright naturals light from the open large windows. And it echoed, something horribly amusing. Good for sound, probably, but also just horrible, horrible for pranks. Lex rated better then Ares but not as comfortable as Hera’s with the blues and greens and peacock feathers. Not as comfortable as Hermes, but then, Lex like the more comfortable clutter and running his fingers over the globes to map the continents and median lines. Apollo reminded him more of museums and monuments. He hummed and continued onwards, searching to find Sidney, or at the very least, dart in, drop off her gift and dart out. He had brought his pink duct tape in case he had to leave it for her. Though he sorted of wanted to see her reaction to it. He sighed and continued, boots giving a slight squeak on the marble. So, much marble. “Sid, are you in?” He called, having asked someone for directions to her room. Maybe he would just leave the gift here, it had her name on it. There was some scuffling, a heavy thump and clatter followed by cursing, before the door to the chosen's room popped open. Barefoot and draped in apparently nothing more than a sleep shirt, her wild hair a messy mane, Sid blinked owlishly and scrubbed at her eyes with a fist of nail-polished fingers. For once, she had no makeup on and it was obvious she'd been warm before opening the door, because the chill air called up immediate goosebumps. "Hmmwhut?" She croaked, her voice thick and fuzzy. It took a moment to parse the figure under the large coat, but the dark hair and familiar eyes got the gears turning again. "Lex?" Sid's face brightened as she came awake, a smile spreading. "Hey! What are you doing here? Didn't get lost, or were you just looking to make some music?" She winked at him before she glanced down, finding a gift wrapped at her feet. She made a surprised noise as she bent down to retrieve it, real pleasure lighting up her face. "This for me?" Shaddaling Im sorry this took so long <3

Lex grinned slightly, taking in the mess that was Sid. He hasn't meant to wke her up, but perhaps he should have came slightly later. Night owl? Or just not early bird? Still it was ice to know that he wasn't the only one that woke with fantastic bed head. "Sorry to wake you up, Sid. And nope, not lost, was looking for you actually and yup. That is for you." He nodded as she picked it up. "Happy Xenia, which I guess is Greek for some sort of wintry Christmas holiday." He really hadn't paid much attention outside of shopping time! "I hope you like it." Whimsical Blue No problem! It is the holidays, crazy times all around

Christmas present. Lex had gotten her a Christmas present. Sid's face lit up as she reached to snag his wrist and drag him into the dark, mysterious cave that was her room. Inside was not AS dark as it seemed. She'd taken pains to get a thick blanket secured up over the airy, bright windows the Apollo dorms sported. It booked a good deal of light, but it snuck through anyway and beams streamed from the edges. It gave the place a fuzzy red glow, reducing the shapes inside to comfortable anonimity. Sid had to stop to close the door and then she pushed Lex towards the rumpled nest that was her bed... the only real place to sit since any chairs she had seemed to be buried under... stuff. She had to steer him around things on the floor as well, and it was pretty obvious Sid was not a tidy sort. "Sit down so I can open this. Don't mind the mess." She laughed as she left him, picking her way over to the window to tuck back a corn and considerably brighten the space. "Ugh... I like a free place to live, but why does it have to be so sunny." She groused as she came to join him. Thin limbs folded in an ungraceful flop as she cast herself down into the mess of blankets, her present still tucked against her side. The present was the next focus of her attention and she began to work the striped paper free, taking the bow with it.

Lex gave a soft little noise as he was suddenly dragged into the room, stumbling slightly as he toed off his boots near the doorway. It was sort of cozy inside, darker, but before he could really take a look, he was being lead around stuff to the bed. He sat down on the bed, bouncing slightly as he looked up at Sid. "Most would not consider Michigan as Sunny," Lex replied, amused and tucked his feet up on the bed, settling into the nest. Which looked a lot like his really. "Mmh, my room would probably be the same once I get everything I want from home." He grinned and settled a bit more, watching Sid work in opening her present.

"I just never feel like straightening it up does any good... it's trashed again in a day or two." Sid groused as she tossed the paper over the side of her mattress. Her eyes lit up at what was inside the box and she broke out in bright laughter. "Oh. my. God. You little a*****e." She groaned as she pulled the little plastic card out with its tiny dangling birds. "Oh my god, they're so detailed, wow! These are perfect!" The Apollo chosen was still laughing as she chucked the box into a stack of CD cases and lunged for Lex, swinging to wrap an arm around the back of his neck and drag him into a hug. The earrings dangled from her fingers, bobbling back and forth as they swung. Adorable little blue macaws... to remind her she'd been one and all the trouble she had caused while she was. "It's so sweet that you got me something, Thank you." She said as she eased up her hold on him, running mischevious fingers up into his hair to give him a stroke that was part playful ruffle. "Now I feel kinda like an a** I don't have any gifts to give. Money has been stupid right since I've been here and not actually working."

"Hey, I never said I wasn't," Lex laughed and grinned as Sid lit up, brandishing the small dangling birds. He flailed about, more playfully then concerned as he was tugged into a hug and grinned up at her. "Hey, do you know how much trouble you were? You left an impression, and well, I thought they suited your style. Match your hair." "Well, if you really want to give me a gift, what the heck did Rob turn into? I completely blanked on it." Lex smiled broadly. He had gifts to give still. "Wait, what do you do for a living? Because I don't think I ever asked..." Lex murmured.

Sidney chuckled at Lex, unabashed in the face of his complaining about her in bird form. She’d been scared out of her mind, it wasn’t her fault he’d rushed in to take her on. Rob had really gotten the rough end of it though, so she took Lex’s words as the joke they were meant to be. “They’re great and I love them, thank you.” She said as she settled the box into her lap and worked on getting the earrings free of the backing. She tilted her bright head at him as she fussed with getting out one of her many piercings and putting a bird into it. “Rob was a goat.” Sid laughed, remembering. “Fits him pretty well, huh? Little, onry pigmy goat. ******** adorable. I’m never letting him live it down.” She turned her head the other way, earring secure, to work on the other. It gave her something of a curious, playful air. “I’m a DJ, actually. Apollo for music and all that. I do mostly electronic stuff and step music. Clubs and events hire me to get people up and dancing, so they’ll buy drinks. Its fun, you should really come out to a show… next time I have one. Haven’t managed to get many gigs, living here.” The small woman sighed towards the end, flipping her hands outwards in an ‘oh well’ gesture, now that her earrings were in. Her smile turned abruptly mischievous then and she took her box from her lap to give it a toss onto the floor beside her bed. There was a subtle change in her manner then as she scooted closer on hands and knees, leaning into Lex’s space with bright eyes. “You gave me a present, I should really give you one, don’t you think? I mean, it was so sweet of you… I really do appreciate it. I don’t really have anything, buuuut… I’m good at other things besides music, too.” Sid said. Her expression was warm and inviting, little crinkled at the corners of her eyes when she grinned. Lex really had been sweet to her… helping Rob corral her, helping her wash after and giving her the antidote. Despite her friendliness and openness, she hadn’t found herself getting particularly close to anyone here besides Rob, but she’d already had a childhood friendship under her belt there. Lex as the first she’d really gotten much time with, and certainly the only one to remember her for a holiday gift. Shaddaling (feel free to do whatever is natural <3 she won't press too hard)

"Well, when I get some money, I'm going to be going goat shopping. Maybe a tie pin," Lex mused, believing in spreading around the love. "Onry pigmy goat,"he snorted committing it to memory. How the heck had he forgotten? Goat. "Ooh, and yes, please remember me the next time you have a show. I would love to watch you work. Or at the very least enjoy it." He hadn't been out clubbing in what seemed like ages, well at least a few months. Lex smiled, reaching out to lightly move aside Sid's hair, running a finger over the bird. "They do look nice on you," he said softly. He smiled and leaned close giving Sid a warm kiss. "I won't say no, but I rather not push. You don't owe me a present for my present, Sid. But I'm fully up to us enjoying ourselves."

Her expression brightened in surprise and pleasure as Lex not only got the hint, but took the initiative. She hummed warmly as she leaned into it, her lashes dark smudges on her cheeks. There was a husky laugh for him when they parted again and Sid ran her tongue playfully across the rings in her lower lip. “Hey!” Sidney huffed, reaching out to curl her fingers into the front of his shirt and give it a tug, dragging him a little insistently closer. Her dark eyes shone with mirth, her smile as wide and crooked as ever. “I’m supposed to be the one doing the seducing here. But I guess I’ve got no room to complain.” His words were a green light and she didn’t much feel like playing coy about it as she crawled forward and slid herself into his lap. Her thin arms draped around his neck and she used it as an excuse to work her fingers up into his blonde curls. She’d always kinda wanted to play with them… They looked soft, and it begged to have hands in them. She wasn’t shy about the taking the lead this time as she kissed him and with her new confidence, there was nothing hesitant or restrained about it. It was downright inviting, actually, and she teased with the stud through her tongue. Hopefully Lex had nowhere to be today, because it was going to be a while before Sid would let him leave. She had a lot of thanking to do for such a thoughtful gift, and a lot of getting to know Lex better. Shaddaling fin? <3 thanks for the rp!

Mmh, there was a hint of unyielding metal in the kiss, it had been some time since he had shared a kiss with someone with lip piercings. "No... I don't think so," Lex replied cheekily and looped his arms around her waist as she slipped into his lap. And Sid's fingers were in his curls and she was kissing him and a hint of tongue stud was teasing him, and Lex stopped thinking to focus on kissing back. Whimsical Blue Fin! And thanks for the rp/ Sid going to be one of the few people who know where Lex's tattoo is/ well the one he has now
