 FEL ESSENCE : Silver Lining FEL ESSENCE DESCRIPTION :Quote: "Every cloud has a silver lining", or so the saying goes, but one particular cloud actually had this metaphorical glitter. When the Storm encroached upon the world and blackened the skies with rain, one little puff of a cloud strangely remained its normal white color. Once the Storm finally ended and all the clouds dispersed, the only thing that remained of that single unchanged cloud was its pure silver outline which floated safely down to the Earth below. Simply holding onto the jar that contains it makes anyone feel positive that nothing will ever go wrong and if it does, there will always be something very good waiting just around the corner. ***Owned by Lab

During heavier rainfall, he can disperse rain to nearby clouds to keep himself, and those around him, dry. To put it simply he is his own umbrella. Cloud Manipulation (Active): Kaipo is able to manipulate the shape and position of clouds in the sky and lasso them closer to the ground. He is only able to affect clouds from the sky and as such Fog and Steam are completely unaffected by him. At the start, he will only be able to make simple shapes such as orbs and strings. Silver Outlining (Active) He can draw in the air with a silver-toned substance that is closer to a super-condensed cloud. His drawings aren’t permanent yet but as he develops proficiency their duration will increase. In the future, this will be able to be made into physical metallic thread. Bear Rage (Active): Though Kaipo is extremely difficult to rile up, his soul is another story. Under rare and extreme circumstances, Kaipo gets overcome and enters into a berserker rage that gives him the strength and viciousness of a full-grown bear. He gains the telltale “Grizzly Hump” between his shoulder blades and extreme pupil dilation. This state lasts until he can be calmed or he exhausts himself. Consequences are extreme fatigue and muscle pain. PERSONALITY :Kaipo is an exceptionally upbeat child and often surprises people at how fast he bounces back from difficulties. Even if he doesn’t get along with someone, Kaipo remains convinced that every person has something good to them. No matter how bitter their attitude, no matter how deplorable their behavior, he will remain resolute on his position. To him, it is unfathomable that anyone could be all bad. He will tend to ignore poor attitudes unless they become a serious problem but Po prefers to try and reason with them. If all else fails, he is not above finding an adult better suited to the task. Negative feelings rarely affect him; he holds the philosophy that problems will work themselves out and he expresses any sadness as concern. The only times you will see him huffy are when people refuse to communicate with each other. It frustrates him when people who can easily communicate refuse to. He doesn’t like conflict but he is willing to step in if necessary. Kaipo is much like any young bear cub, a floppy curious baby. He is a low energy child and is far more likely to ask to be carried than move on his own. Even when he does, he stays low to the ground so his rune almost touches it and prefers to crawl rather than float. He finds verbal communication very difficult as forming words itself is hard for him. Because he is selectively mute, he prefers nonverbal forms of communication and relies on visual cues. That aside, Kaipo adores company and is very comfortable in social situations. He is a cuddlebug and will snuggle with almost anyone willing. “Family” functions are his favorite, and to him all raevans and guardians are like extended cousins. The idea of family sticking together and cooperating is very important to him. FOOD : Actively consumes negative emotion through skin-to-skin contact. After feeding from someone, they are left with a gentle sense of calm optimism. Depending on the strength of the emotion, he may or may not be able to consume all of the negativity present. Different brands of negativity taste differently to him, such as: Rage tastes like salt and vinegar
Fear tastes like sour candies. Specific kinds of fear have different fruity undertones (Warheads to be specific) Blue Raspberry - concern/worry
Vindictive Behavior tastes like Cinnamon-Red-Hot candies
Sadness tastes like Camomile Tea
Jealousy tastes sickly sweet with a nasty undertone he can’t place.
Greif actually tastes really really bad. Like disgusting hot sauce.
Lying and things done out of spite taste like curdled milk (as they are not negative in nature, white lies do nothing) HOBBIES :Kaipo adores puzzles and can be entertained for hours by taking something apart. He can be easily distracted by interesting textures and absolutely loves anything soft. He is fascinated by things like meditation, yoga, and aromatherapy that bring serenity, and is always eager to learn new things. However, his two biggest recreational loves are throwing pottery and drawing, so expect many gifts of doodles and personalized ceramics. (and is eager to share them) He adores learning and will listen with rapt attention if someone tries to teach him something. Even if the task he is trying to complete is far too difficult and even impossible for him, he will continue to work on it happily. Failure doesn’t upset him at all and in fact only serves to drive him to continue attempting to understand.

This is super cute. I'm excited to see how he and Ethiriel will interact, both coming from silver essences. But his upbeat personality is quite natural, considering.
Honestly, I love the soul choice. A grizzly bear is adorable, and I actually like that he'd rather crawl than float. That bit was nice, and that you took it one step further to discuss his tastes from the negative emotions.
I don't really have much to add. But I guess my biggest question stems from his "Bear Rage" ability. What would it take for him to enter this? Is it more random? Being taken from such an extremely positive soul and being paired with the curious, very possibly, grumpy bear; what is the balance going to be like?

Brolis "Bear Rage" ability. What would it take for him to enter this? Is it more random? Being taken from such an extremely positive soul and being paired with the curious, very possibly, grumpy bear; what is the balance going to be like? It would take a tremendous amount of stress, fear, or anger for him to actually use this ability. Think along the hypothetical that someone around him that he cares for is in grave danger. This ability is more along the lines of an immediate reaction to that sort of thing. (hope that is at least somewhat clear lol)
