Eyzaak immediately stood up and stretched as if he had been sitting FOREVER with her. A happy expression lined his face as he looked up at her with that snaggletooth smile he'd greeted Tevini with initially. "Hmm..I will try and think about it that way." He repeated his own comments to himself, his hand writing while barely legible was an attempt on the boys part. Each time he tried, it was obvious his stubborn determination balanced with the way his brain rearranged letters from time to time.

If he focused on the individual components the rest would come with practice...like any great project right? The idea kept him from snapping the pen in half at least.

Scampering over to the redblood when she asked about the item she'd picked up he squinted at it then her. "Well. I saw a fan when I went to the city one time. So I tried to make my own. I dunno really how to make the blades turn, outside a manual crank." It even rotated via the little handle he'd made. It wasn't automatic...nor was it wasn't very well made but he'd tried was the point. The screws holding it together looked like they'd been repurposed from something he'd taken them from.

Eyzaak nodded vigorously as she asked him if he made it. He sure had. It was his rainy day project. Wiggling a bit excited like as she complimented him Eyzaak beamed at the older troll.

Just as she was grabbing for a pen and paper he noticed her looking at his drawings. He looked sheepish as she did. Watching her like a hawk as she wrote in and made drawing adjustments the boy watched with fascination. The knowledge and her assistance made the boy eager to keep trying even if he could only pick out a few letters..he made a vow to learn how to read what she'd added to his design.

"Y..yes it's a great reason to..can we practice more? Now? I want to learn how to read this. You'll see. I will." He promised grasping as her hand he shook at it. "Come on!! More flashcards?? Please Miss Ini?" He asked hopeful like.

Eyzaak had a new appreciation for why reading was so important. Not only that he was shocked by her. She was amazing and really cool. Way more than he'd initially believed a mere moment ago. "That's so cool..you already know how to build one? I want to learn!" He shouted before remembering to lower his tone..although he smiled slightly at her as he went back to studying with the redblood with new determination.
