-Arctic Animals-
Dah'rin:
The Dah'rin is a fearsome subspecies of deer that resides in the colder areas of the world. A thick yet luxurious coat of fur and lean meat tempt many hunters into pursuing these animals, but it isn't wise to underestimate any creature of the wilds. These animals are just as likely to band together and attack predators as they are to run, especially when there are young in their herds.

Taa'fei :
The Taa'fei serve as a cow for the story. They are able to provide beef, milk, and are extremely fertile. They often bare eleven to twelve in a liter and are full grown within a month. Their lifespan is sixteen years. While they only eat snow and ice, making them easy to maintain creatures with their docile nature, one must keep these beasts separated from their kin or overpopulation might occur.

-Predators-
Baunor:
Savage beasts of high intelligence and even greater hostilities the Baunor is a rare but deadly creature in the remote regions of ice and snow. Suspected to be a type of Demon this creature lurks in the icy wastelands simply because it is the only place cool enough to balance out their internal heat comfortably. At a moment's notice they can unleash a scalding bile at their prey, melting the victim's flesh and armor through the sheer heat of the substance. As if that isn't enough this creature savors the kill, toying with it's captured prey for hours or even days before finally eating them.. though they are typically alive and screaming even at the end. Luckily they are few in number and breed only every few years, living up to two centuries before dyeing naturally of old age. Their skins and scales are highly heat-resistant and their bones are coveted for crafting purposes.

Sek'shu:
Sek'shu is a breed of canine with fearsome tusks, the power of a lion, and the loyalty of a dog. These creatures are carnivores and travel in packs. It is possible for them to be tamed but by no means is it an easy feat. Even if you do tame them, it is guaranteed that one day they will turn against you for the Alpha position. If you defeat them, they will abide by you for another short time. They do seem to have a sense of pride, they will not betray an Alpha in need and as such prove to be reliable companions in battle even going so far as to protect a fallen leader until help arrives. They issue their challenge formally, gaining the attention of their Alpha by scraping their tusks on the ground and yowling in deep huffs until they meet their foe's gaze. The battle that follows is a ferocious one, the more brutal the effort spent by the beast the higher sense of respect the Sek'shu has for it's Master. The more it plays in the fight, the more insulting it is. (Crew will rp as Sek'shu during this test fight to capture and during its revolt)

Glace Griffins:
As ferocious as their southern kin in the plains and as cunning as any tundra dweller these animals are far, far less intelligent than their cousin the Tarins that roam the frozen lands as well. Glace Griffins are scavengers and deceivers, using their stunning array of colorful feathers to draw in other predators to a open area before the rest of their flock dives from above to ambush their unfortunate prey. They also have a nasty habit of digging into snow and ice, laying in wait patiently on commonly-traveled paths for a unwitting meal to stumbled into their grasp. Their feathers are quite sought after for their lovely shades and weather-resistant qualities.

-Mounts-
Tarin:
A bit larger than a Clydesdale and far more intelligent than their southern kin the northern Griffin, or Tarin as the natives call them, are one of the more dangerous beasts to be found in the Arctic climate. They are clever, nearly cognitive-leveled reasoning and problem solving skills, and viciously loyal to their chosen riders. It is a sign of great trust and strength to earn the right to ride upon it's back, for the Tarin chooses it's Master and rarely tolerates another's touch after. Some warriors or clans raise these creatures, they can be as passive or vicious as any other species and their natures vary from beast to beast, but never dismiss them as common mounts or simple animals. In the wild it is rare that they interact with the tribes of the north, traveling in mated pairs and raising their egg clutches far from the reach of other creatures.. But every once in a while a young, curious Tarin will wonder into a settlement and find a companion 'worthy' of being their partner.
