»»» Metals
A number of native metals lurk in this world, each possessing it's own unique traits. We'll list them below.
=======================================
Metal Gorestone (Fire-Element in magic items)
Details: A deep red metal that darkens to black in natural marbled design, this metal was named due to it's resemblance to clotting blood. This metal is light and durable, but prone to blunting it's edges quickly.
Advised Uses: Small blunt weapons or magic tools such as wands or staffs.
======================================
Metal Arncorid ( Ice-Element in magic items )
Details: A very hardy metal by nature this material is uncommonly heavy, impractical for use beyond industrial purposes.. Though some individuals to line their shields with a thin layer of this metal to offer better protection.
Advised Uses: Tools, War Machines, Ground-based Vehicles.
======================================
Metal Tyarro ( Wind-Element in magic items )
Details: Light as a feather and sharp as glass this metal displays a stunning amber translucency to it no matter how thick it is, retaining it's edge stubbornly in battle.. However, it is a bit more brittle than other metals and as such can be shattered if hit hard/often enough. More often than not, smiths only line the edges of much stronger blades with this metal, this way if the edge shatters the warrior still has a weapon to use.
Advised Uses: Piercing weapons such as spears, small daggers, short swords, and even throwing-type weapons. Diffidently not a material to be used for blocking or parrying-styled combat fighters. Oddly enough, in marble-droplets, Tyarro can be found on decorative trinkets just as commonly as it can on weapons.
======================================
Metal Dracrest Vein ( Earth-Element in magic items )
Details: A bronze-toned metal that offers durability at the price of being a little heavy. This is a common material used for military-grade armors, it doesn't rust and even in chain-mail form it gives sufficient protection.
Advised Uses: Armors or tools, often used in air-craft construction due to it's light(er) quality than other hardy metals.
======================================
Metal Iron ( Electric-Element in magic items )
Details: Just to keep it simple, here is a familiar metal type~ Advised Uses: The usual? Tools, armor, weapons, go for it.
======================================
Metal Steel ( Electric-Element in magic items )
Details: Created from Iron and a few other choice metals. A little simple, but efficient. Advised Uses: Mainly tools or weapon-basics, it is after all a durable metal.
======================================
Metal Yarcrest ( Earth-Element in magic items )
Details: A refined form of Dracrest Vein smelted by the Dwarves. Remarkably light, insanely strong, and entirely exclusive to the Blacksmiths of Dwarven House Nei'Thumil. No one outside this family knows the smelting process required to preserve the metal's integrity without making it even heavier, and this family has gone above and beyond to ensure it stays that way to monopolize the market on it.
Advised Uses: Airship crafting, Shield crafting, and Armor. Blunt Weaponry is optional as well, but typically far more expensive as only a Nei-Thumil smith can repair damage to the item. The same for any Armor, of course.
======================================
Metal Auranite ( Ice-Element in magic items )
Details: A sleek, dark, metal that reflects a faint aurora along it's surface when exposed to light. It really is quite beautiful, yet somehow forever cold to the touch even in the hottest of climates or situations. How then, one might ask, is it forged into weapons and the like? Ask those of the North, if you dare. As enduring and vicious as the environment itself the people of the North have the only known mines for this metal and as such are quickly mastering the unique art that is 'Auranite Crafting'. Though not a 'magic' as far as anyone can tell the metal retains it's brutal chill even after being forged anew, often it isn't the initial stab wound but the frost bite that follows in it's wake that causes problems with an Auranite blade.
Advised Uses: Weapons, or plating for light armors.
======================================
Metal Vymal ( Stone-Element in magic items )
Details: The unique equivalent of 'Ivory' in this world it is actually a metal smelted from the harvested Ores found inside Vysmers. Not really a 'frowned upon' substance, and certainly one used by the wealthy for jewelry or adornments, but to the Dwarves this material has just as much sentimental value as it does monetary. Naturally a white-gold-color it is far softer than other metals.
Advised Uses: Jewelry and the like. It is not a good material for combat uses due to it's rare nature and delicate qualities.

»»» Leathers
A number of Animals lurk in this world, each possessing it's own unique traits, and as a result just as many unique leathers can be crafted from them with inherited quirks. We'll list them below.
=======================================
Leather Igulin Leather (Nature-Element in magic items)
Details: Native to the Elves this material has been crafted to retain the cloaking properties of the Iqulin themselves, fitting with a soft, flexible, and comfortable texture yet not overly strong when facing combat. The figure draped in this leather need only train themselves to use it, each piece of material is naturally charmed to 'feel' their wearers desire to become camouflaged however it takes a strong mind to keep it up while still focusing on other tasks.. It is uncommon but not impossible for this material to appear outside the Elven Tribes.
Advised Uses: Stealth. Hunting, prowling, etc.
======================================
Leather Rixo'Nai Leather ( Toxic-Element in magic items )
Details: Crafted from the pelts of Forest Griffins this leather is rough, semi-flexible yet still offering a good degree of protection. The easiest way to identify it is by the natural red-gold sheen that develops in the tanning process.
Advised Uses: Rangers, fast-moving types, intelligent mages whom do not wish to be too squishy.
======================================
Leather Peru'Nih or ' Rikash' Leather ( No-Element in magic items )
Details: Stiff, hardy, and by far the strongest leather creatable in the Desert region it is harvested from the massive creature known as the Rikash. Typically gathered and crafted by Orcs it is one of the few armors they actually use, not because of it's durable quality but rather as a trophy of their battle with the might creatures known as Rikash themselves. It is common that they sell the Rikash leather from their hunts, the many other cultures absorbing the material readily.
Advised Uses: Armor or leather strappings, if worked the right way it can be flexible enough for saddles and the like.
======================================
Leather Xas Coi ( ---Element in magic items )
Details: While not outright 'illegal' as there is no unanimous law against it between the tribes, it is highly frowned upon to make use of the leather or furs crafted from the creatures known as Eudora. The material itself, if crafted properly, contains the same 'calming' effect as the animal itself and is actually a highly sought after for this reason by the Dwarves and Humans. The Elves, whom consider the beasts Sacred or 'Pure' beings, may react poorly to seeing such adornments.
Advised Uses: Healers, clever peddlers, anyone whom wishes to 'sooth' others for whatever reason. If in large enough amounts such as a cloak it can even offer safe passage through hostile animal territories.
======================================
Leather Hsot or 'Veil' Leather ( No-Element in magic items )
Details: Thin and stunningly light this leather comes from the creatures known as 'Rhix' native to forest regions. Almost mesh-like in it's soft flexible way it allows those wearing it to see and even 'breathe' through the fabric comfortably... While still filtering out any potentially harmful fumes in the air. This purifying quality is believed to be born from the Rhix's immunity to their own sleeping pollen, the fact that it filters out other airborne substances was quite the surprise. Smoke, gases, even faint fumes from poison. Down side, those using this material as a 'mask' lose the ability to smell anything beyond it until they remove the cloth. Liquids, due to it's mesh-like texture, go right through it.
Advised Uses: Typically used in alchemic study this leather is used to contain otherwise harmful materials, when molding into a bag it lets nothing physical in and likewise nothing out.. aside from liquids. Many use this material as masks, especially herbalists and the like. Assassins also seem fond of it for obvious reasons.
======================================
Fur Dah'rin Pelt ( No-Element in magic items )
Details: Harvested from the mighty creatures in the north called Dah'rin these furs have a almost unnatural resistance to the cold and a stunning appearance due to the animal's natural colorings. Many in the north have this as a covering.
Advised Uses: Blankets, cloaks, clothes, drapes, even some saddles.
======================================
Fur Zel'fen Fur ( No-Element in magic items )
Details: Thick soft furs that come from the animal known as Zel'fen.
Advised Uses: Blankets, heavy armor padding, pillow stuffing, etc. It is unadvised to use as actual armor as it doesn't seem to have the same weather-proofing as other furs in the area.
======================================
Leather Helleather ( Strong Fire-Element in magic items )
Details: Black as pitch and deceptive as sin this leather comes from the beasts suspected to be demons, the Baunor. It is light yet strong, hard yet slightly flexible, and always (even in the coldest of bilzards) somehow warm to the touch as if still living and giving off it's own 'body heat'. The cold can't touch this material, nor however can fire.. The two elements are simply repelled.
Advised Uses: Armor or weapon enhancement. This material is hard won and difficult to craft, only a fool would waste it.
