CHARACTER UPDATE APPROVAL

                    Your character will not get very far in FAO if they do not level up and build their stats. In order to do so, you must gain XP, which can be obtained by posting or slaying monsters or completing quests and raids. To cash in your XP, simply fill out the following form and await notice from a moderator. Do not heckle mods about updating your character. They will see to it that characters are updated in due time. Due to the amounts of mana used in this roleplay, you do not have to apply any XP points to that stat. Instead, the mod will simply take the total XP gained and add it to your mana.

TAMED BEASTS AND FAMILIARS


            For beast tamers, they gain companions but it isn't an easy feat. There are rules and regulations for them, and because it is extra bodies, there will be a requirement to obtaining them, and updating them. As for the familiar granted on level 30, that doesn't require a word count to get. It's a gift, but continuing with it will be very similar to continuing with a tamed beast.

            First, how to "tame" a beast. This is only available for beast tamers, any other class will be killed in the process, or severely hurt. The first beast for tamers are free, no requirement or word post to obtain them. After that, tamers must complete a 750 word or more post explaining how they tamed the beast. When the beast is obtained, it starts off with the users stats and levels. However after that, when they are updated, they only receive half of the users XP to distribute to their own stats.
              Example: User gets +50 XP to their stats. Beasts gets +25 XP to their stats.
