twiztedoz13 My memory is when my mom was here I lost her in march and this year has been not the best sweatdrop hopefully 2017 will bring some better ones hope yals year has been better heart I'm very sorry for your loss. A mother and child relationship can be a very strong and unique one aside from all others. Though she may be gone, she's not ever fully gone. She is in your heart, still giving you love, and still in your mind with memories. Remember the good ones, always remember the positive over the negative. heart I'm sure she is watching over you.

darknlovely1 One of my favorite memories from this year was celebrating the 4th of July with my mother, grandmother, cousin and her daughter. We had a nice dinner, played board games, watched TV, talked, watched fireworks, and lit off some of our own later that night. I know we didn't get to bed until after midnight that night. Unfortunately, I also lost my grandmother on my father's side this year. She lived out of town, so I would always try to visit her often. She was always happy to see me, and would brag about me to the other residents where she lived. Whenever I called her on the phone, I was greeted with a "WELL HEY BABY!" As she got older, her memory started to go, but she always remembered me. She lived to be 90 years old. I'll miss my grandmother, and I'll never forget her. awww making me tear up here sad ..but thats a touching one for sure

I forget how old I was, but my mom and I came home one chilly Christmas night, around 7, I was freezing and running to get to the door and in the house. When we went in my dad had made us hot chocolate and we were watching some movies together. Then, all of a sudden, our doorbell rang. "Go see who it is!" said my mom. So I got up and as I opened the door, what did I see? A bunch of balloons and a gift bag just for me! I got a few sweaters and stuff because our family doesn't celebrate Christmas, but how my parents did it with being in the room with me beforehand is just crazy! Whenever I think of Christmas, this comes to mind because I was so happy. Even though we didn't celebrate Christmas, even though I didn't believe in Santa, a little slimmer of me wanted to and did believe in him.

I think my favorite memory is when my mother bought me a stuffed animal for Christmas and I always kept it with me until the day that I lost it when we were moving 3 years ago

Well sort of. You know the reason Life Savers have holes in the middle is because of they are so commonly a chocking hazard? I completely understand holidays with estranged and unbalanced relatives. The only holiday memory that really comes to mind for me at the moment. Is how i managed to piss my younger brother of by receiving a gift. Supreme Dabaroni my christmases weren't so good because of my unaccepting family and on the christmas of 2010 i choked on a life saver (ironic huh?) but i have my hopes up this year for a much better christmas 3nodding

Most memorable holiday Christmas experience? *Laughter* When I was in pre school, I accidentally pooped on my shorts =w=. The room suddenly started to smell, so the teacher was like " WHO TOOK A DUMP IN HIS/HER UNDERGARMENT?". No one was willing to talk so the teacher asked everyone to stand... I didn't.
It was a week before Christmas too =w=. It was my gift to that school I guess? Like a saying of "Thanks for giving me a shitty time!" Dunno, I can only look back and laugh at it now though =w=

Could be. I get a bit apathetic about receiving gifts. Might be seasonal depression or something to that end. I really look forward to giving gifts more then receiving them. Anyway one year, back in high school, my parents asked me the age old question, "What do you want for Christmas"? I told them I really don't need or want anything. They pushed so I said. Just get me something from my brothers list. He got a guitar that year, I got a Sword. He looked at it and said. "I wanted a sword!", and became quite butt hurt, Instantly making the gift all the more enjoyable. SupremeFallenCrimson Gorenza Well sort of. I haven't really celebrated the holidays in the last 7-8 years besides Halloween. But a memory I'll be making soon is with my best friends, and hopefull coworker of mine.
I've lived in NYC all my life but never went to see the ball drop irl in times square. Gonna cross that off the bucket list this year c: I hope it goes well!
